Really nice and helpful staff

I found the placing of the beds in the shared room really awkward. It was a 4 peoples room with 1 bunkbed and to singles. I stayed in the single, but the other single bed was very very close by. Luckily nobody slept in the other single bed.

I liked the style, mattress was comfortable and the location was great!!

No outlets on the bed - although didn’t matter to me as I have an extra long cord. Bathroom could do with a little maintenance as the shower wouldn’t drain and we had to get maintenance in to fix our toilet

The location was fantastic, walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go and even if you don't want to venture far the street has everything you need, from shops to bars to restaurants. The staff were great - we asked to swap rooms because of our Bambi-like dog not agreeing with the laminate floor on the steps and they were great to accommodate him! The rooms are spacious and comfortable so well worth a visit when in Brighton!

We were lucky with the weather it wasn't too warm but the lack of air con may be a miss for some! The only thing I did miss in the morning was to be able to make a tea or coffee in the morning - there's complimentary hot drinks for hotel guests but only at reception so you have to dress to get yourself some caffeine!

The location is amazing, right in front of the beach. The building is well kept and in a very fancy area full of nice restaurants and shops. My room was spacious with a super comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Maybe the desk was way too small but definitely helped to have it in the room. The hotel has a kind of "California" vibe, nice, young and fresh. Also the breakfast room was very cute with nice decoration and food was available all day long. We (myself and my dog) loved it and we will come back in a few months.

Maybe a better communication from the management. However the staff was very friendly and helpful and I appreciated the solution they offered me.

It is truly heaven for disabled customers. The staff members were excellent in needs&access understanding, they have a fantastic team to answer any questions or meet enquiries in the blink. I feel blessed & lucky having stayed with them and would love to thank everyone there. No TV which was perfect and contributed into more personal touch& easy link to other guests . The willingness to go extra mile with positive attitude using organic products on offer is a key, also they take health&safety seriously which is a spot on. Lift is important adding value to access. Happy New year from extremely happy guest. Definitely would return and highly recommend. 😊

A nice stay in a central location. Very "Brighton" with a bohemian vibe - I loved it. The hotel will be even better once all areas are refurbished and open. The community room/lounge a good space to chat and useful for meetings (booking fee to pay if want to book the room for only your group). There is no parking for the hotel although there are car parks nearby (cost £25 per day - its Brighton expensive to park!). Currently no restaurant or bar as these are being refurbished. Lots of restaurants and bars and shops in Preston Street and Western Road only a few yards away - Fish & Chips also on your doorstep along with the i360.

Amenities - restaurant, bar etc but on our stay these were being refurbished.

The location of the hotel is amazing, right in front of the beach and about a 15 min walk to the Brighton Pier. I was originally in a 4 bed dorm, there was a problem in the room during the night that the hotel was not responsible for (very drunk guy) but the man at the reception handled it perfectly and I thank him! I was changed room and put in a single bedroom with a view on the sea, plus I was offered breakfast (which was delicious) at the hotel's restaurant for the inconvenience. The bedrooms were really nice and cosy, well decorated and clean. The lockers are perfect and practical. The bathroom is big and functional. I had a great stay and I will probably come here again if I ever come back to Brighton! Thank you Selina and especially the guy at reception for handling the problem and making sure I was safe!

Unfortunately there is no female only dorm and it's too bad. It could be a really good idea for the hotel to do that as it's now becoming a criteria for some women who want to feel safe while solo traveling. I still booked in the mixed 4 bed dorm because I only had one night so I decided to try, but the experience I had juste made me feel very unsafe to sleep in a dorm with men. Though I know it was just bad luck and it's not always like that!

We really liked the location of the hotel and we had the room facing the ocean so it was great to have that view. It was walking distance from Brighton main train station and other attractions. The shampoos, conditioners and soap they use were very luxurious and smelt good. The decor was also very stylish.

We stayed there in late March so it was cold in our room. There was only one radiator and the windows were just single pane. I’m sure it’s nice in the summer but it’s definitely cold in the winter/spring. Also because it was just single pane glass, we could hear the wind whistling and the waves crashing outside, it could probably keep some people up.

I was in a top bunk bed, which was comfortable, and not creaky. The bedding was clean and comfortable and appropriate for the temperature. I was pleasantly surprised to have a little curtain as part of the bed, which added a modicum of privacy in a shared dormitory. There were no antisocial incidents with the other residents. They may have struggled with my snoring though!.

A chair in the room would have been nice, particularly as I only had the choice between the floor and climbing up into my bunk, to sit and chat with my son in the lower bunk. The curtains at the window only just met.

I love how close it was the beach, as well as shopping! It was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. I was able to check in early which I appreciated and then I went exploring. It's very close to many restaurants and I felt quite safe. Will definetly return.

In my room the wifi didn't reach my bed so if I wanted to watch something I had to stand close to my door to download something. I never did recieve a welcome drink which could have been my fault for not asking but it was a very enjoyable stay.
