Lovely room, nicely decorated. Excellent location. As a solo traveler I was very comfortable. Cooked breakfast really nice but needed more fruit options and more than just Nutella and a scraping of cheap jam for my toast, some marmalade perhaps.

Room was excellent for one but a squash for two I think. Would not care for 3. Small room for a double and single bed. I enjoyed the double and used the single for my suitcase and clothes etc. No space for suitcases or to put belongings, just a small hanging space with iron , ironing board.

Very clean, wonderful staff, firm beds.

No free parking - parking opposite was £28 The bar area was a bit cold and not inviting in appearance, not really any personality - more functional. Duvets were very thick - too thick for me to sleep under at a comfortable temperature. Room thermostat only went DOWN to 19 degrees - too hot with the super thick duvets. Tiny silly size room cups that you can’t get a finger into to hold. Daft selection if you ask me - which you are with this review questionnaire - hehe. Please get sensible mugs with reasonable handles or your floors will see more coffee than the clients manage to drink!

Shower excellent step free access for mobility challenged individuals. Breakfast good.

Reception staff ignored me when I arrived and each time I approached them if they were busy, deliberately not making eye contact. Staff should make eye contact even if they can’t interact directly with me at the time.

The beds were huge and comfortable, the pillows were firm which for me was great. Breakfast is just amazing, I can't think of anything that wasn't available, they really have got you covered. From gluten free to vegan or a full English cooked breakfast and it's replenished regularly throughout the morning so it's always fresh and hot. It's close to the beach, the shopping centre and a short walk from the lanes and there are buses to literally anywhere you might want to go from Churchill square which is a five minute walk away.

I booked for four people 1adult and 3 children, when I arrived we had been provided with an additional bed in the room which was fine except I booked and paid for 4 and received facilities for 3 and it made an already small space feel a little claustrophobic. We made the best of it. The thing that really did bother me was the complete lack of storage space, there was a tiny wardrobe with about six hangers and not another single inch of storage space, we had to store everything in the suitcases which was an absolute pain when trying to get three children ready in the morning!

Comfortable beds, fantastic shower and rooms very clean. Towels changed daily. Staff friendly and helpful . Got a sea view which I wasn't expecting and was an added bonus. Hotel is in a quiet area but still close to shopping centre, train station and restaurants. No outside noise disturbances, either from the street or corridors / rooms above. No complaints about breakfast either, good variety and everything tasted fresh. Would definitely stay here again.

There was no table / desk beside the mirror in the bedroom, which I like to have for hair straightening/ make up etc. There was a very narrow shelf but no good for setting hair straighteners on. A very minor issue.

Breakfast was excellent.

Didn’t like being referred to as ‘Buddy’ by the staff.

I was visiting for a work-related event this past weekend. The hotel was right next door to where I needed to be, making it extremely accessible with all the equipment I needed for the convention. There is an NCP car park directly opposite which is handy and it is a stone's throw away from the seafront. This Maldron, I found is nicer than the one in Finsbury Park where I stayed last month. It was laid out nicer, staff were way more friendlier, attentive and helpful than the Finsbury Park one. Facilities were great, a nice bar/restaurant. The layout is nice and aesthetic. Rooms were a decent size with a good sized bathroom and rain shower. Beds are comfy and rooms are quiet, (when people aren't shouting down the corridors). Would highly recommend it for comfort and convenience.

The floor in the room hadn't been cleaned very well. I found at the foot of the toilet, dried-up contact lenses. And after walking out of the shower into the room, there was stuff stuck to my feet. Other than that, it was very clean.

It is a beautiful, modern, brand-new hotel in an excellent location. Delicious breakfast.

There was a lot of chaos at breakfast, there was a queue at our arrival. There was no free table, but there was free, but they did not clear the used dishes from the tables. After waiting more than 20 minutes, we finally cleared a table ourselves and looked for clean cutlery. We saw that there were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant, they were constantly stopped if some food was missing, they often had to stop cleaning the tables. The hall was already full of guests, so many tables were not even seated, they were just dirty. There was definitely not enough staff.

Stayed to support the Brighton half marathon which was on the sea front so the location couldn’t be better . Highly recommend the hotel , very clean , comfortable and the staff are super friendly. One bit of advice , the hotel sends a promo code for the NCP car park which is located opposite the hotel - which is a major bonus as parking in Brighton is very expensive. To use the code you need to download the App , I would advise that you double check before parking that the code remains active as it ‘disappeared’ and I was hit with £65 parking charge . I tried to appeal by online chat ( NCP) and was advised to go back onto app and reapply code - then obviously - I was told I couldn’t take advantage of code as I had applied after leaving the car park . Beyond frustrating.
