Lovely townhouse in a fantastic area! Easy check in, got sent check in details via text message, thank you 😊 Comfy bed and a good size room over looking the street (quiet street in most) PerFect for a 2 night stay. We slept well. There was great communication from the staff and we would stay again next we visit Brighton.

There were only a couple of small niggles, the bathroom door was stuck, so when you opened ut, it made a loud noise plus the shower tiles could do with some mould cleaner. Otherwise it was a comfortable room.

Lovely little room which we were just happy we could secure so last minute for the bank holiday weekend. We each had an Easter egg on our beds which was really sweet. Lady on reception was friendly and helpful. Also had our room cleaned the first morning which took us by surprise (if we'd have known we wouldn't have left it such a mess!!!)

Only thing is one of the beds has you lying with your head pretty close to the bathroom door, meaning whomever is in there isn't getting much privacy if you're lying in bed. However, it was a small room with 3 beds in so it's to be expected. A consideration if you opt for this room, it's on the third floor with some very narrow, steep steps on the final floor, and I would be hesitant to recommend it to anyone with mobility issues or is considerably large (for reference I would say if you require two seats on a plane, you'd struggle getting up the stairs on the final flight). Apart from that it was lovely :)

When we told staff about the shower at checkout, they were responsive and assured us it would be looked at. The location is super central and just a very short walk from bars, cafés, the beach and the centre including 'The Lanes'. Staff (owner) at checking were friendly and helpful. LGBTQ+ friendly Very reasonably priced, especially given location. Loved the decorative style. Able to park on road outside building.

Beware if your stay is on the top floor, the last set of stairs is a killer. The shower in our room (10) was just a dribble but we didn't get a chance to mention it during our stay. The windows in the room didn't open properly so it was very hot. Parking is very expensive.

Good location, cafés nearby for breakfast, lush nice quiet pubs, not too far from the centre...

Noisey shower caused bed to move and very nearly blocked me in the bathroom, had a hard job forcing the door open to get out of the bathroom. Tea making gear not topped up...

We did not really have to interact with the staff much, but when booking and requesting late check-in they were able to accommodate this happily. The instructions they left were clear, and everything worked. It's always a bit of a fright when having to check-in after the desk staff has gone home, but everything ran very smoothly. It was also cute. It's in a very old building so it looked a bit out of a different era, but in a good way.

The only real complaint I had was the water pressure in the shower was quite low. This is a feature of some older houses in the UK generally so I am sure they have received this feedback before, and not certain that there is anything that can really be done about it. But yeah, it was not ideal but we made do with it with a bit of extra time & patience when showering.

This is a lovely, old-fashioned seaside hotel. I booked a room for one night on my own and the room whilst small, was comfortable and everything expected was provided. I had a pleasant welcome on arrival and my luggage was stored until check-in time at which point it was delivered to my room. The bed was comfy with ample pillow. There was some hanging storage space and tea and coffee making facilities, with a generous supply of beverages and some biscuits which was a nice touch. The bathroom was compact, but clean and the shower was fine. This represents excellent value for money.

The location was a little further out of the centre of Brighton than I had expected and about 20 minutes walk from the station. The #12 bus runs from the station to very close to the hotel and that might be a good option for some guests.

They are really friendly, and helpful. Also, quick to respond on weekdays and on check-in and leaving, not so much on the weekend, but that might have been a one-off. They are super helpful carrying bags in and up to the room, sorting out parking permits, which you pay for separately on arrival. There was a pretty good to fair amount of parking when I stayed both times, and if you get a spot and don't have to move the car at all, even better. The beds are comfy, the mod cons all worked and everything that is mentioned in the blurb is available. I love that they use Fairtrade tea and coffee. Hardly anywhere has alternatives to the 'most popular' and not very ethical brand who everyone will know but who I will not name here. Lovely shampoo/conditioner and body wash and soap. Plenty of milks and biscuits, but on the weekend make sure to ask for lots of milks at the check-in. (To clarify, I have stayed here midweek and on a weekend. I didn't get room service on the weekend but I did in the week, but I forgot to ask if that was usual.) The Wolfox they are linked to for brunch discounts is delicious and very close by. The hotel is quirky and fun and it seems to have an unused downstairs area where they maybe did breakfast before and it would be lovely to see that up and running again. The decor is fun, if a little tired. The building feels secure enough. Even though the windows are single glazed, each time I stayed it was quiet enough, so that's good, but when the wind got up they rattled a bit. Heating worked fine.

My shower didn't have a door! The housekeeping guy made me laugh, though. When he mentioned it, he was quick off the mark and said, I like that style! I didn't mind, to be fair. It was just odd and I was worried about saturating the bathroom. Clearly, they didn't mind and the bathroom was fine, so.... Awkward fire doors - a door in front of each room door and leaving the reception area on one side. I am sure it is necessary for fire risk but It is difficult to get through two doors so close together with luggage or if you have an impairment of some kind. That said, they will kindly help you to your room if you ask (and they also offer when you arrive and leave). Walls were a bit thin. I could hear a frisky couple late night and early morning, as well as some conversation!

The location is closer to the beach than to Brighton center, but still walkable. The room was beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful and very much within reach despite not standing by at the desk all the time. The amenities were quite premium, and the bathroom was always clean.

Not much of a complaint, but the stairs are quite narrow, as well as the room. Our room was on the top floor, and I had a large suitcase with me, which ended up not fitting inside the room, so I had to take some of my stuffs out and leave my suitcase by the reception. There was also no elevator, so unfortunately I had to drag my suitcase up and down the narrow stairs....

situated close to the beach, quiet and wifi was great. short walk from everything you could need. lovely little place. would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit. Staff were lovely too, very friendly.

Water pressure for the shower was very poor which was the only disappointment. The fact that I paid for a parking permit to still get a ticket I now have to fight even though the permit was displayed is really annoying but that is the councils moronic staff not being able to open their eyes. Just annoying it happened.

Great location, 10 seconds from the front and 10 minutes from the town centre. Comfortable bed. 2 pillows of different firmness (don't know if that was deliberate, but it was definitely appreciated). Surprisingly quiet. Checking in and out was very quick and easy. If you only need a place for the 3 S's (Sleep, Shower and S***) then this is great! There's also something nice about having an actual physical key rather than an electronic card to get into your room...

There were a few hairs left in the shower (nothing horrendous) and otherwise looked clean. There were no plug sockets near the bedside table so had to charge my phone on the other side of the room, which was just mildly inconvenient for me but may be more so if having to set an alarm (I can't say if this is the case for every room). Nothing that would prevent me from staying again
