Red Brighton Blue

Room was tiny but well appointed, very clean and comfortable. There was a small fridge in the room and a bottle of water provided daily in addition to chocolate and sparkling drink on arrival. Tea, coffee and biscuits were also provided. The bathroom was also very tiny but very nice with a good sized shower. Located close to the seafront and only a few minutes walk to the beach, pier and town centre. I did not meet the owners but they were very helpful beforehand arranging a self check in for my late arrival. Breakfast is not provided but there are many cafes in the area.

Very friendly hosts. I liked the little extra touches, like having little chocolate Easter bunnies mixed in with the tea tray. The location is great - about 2 mins walk to the beach (around 8 mins to Brighton Pier), and next to James Street with its eclectic mix of restaurants and little shops. Great arrangement for parking: it was possible to get parking vouchers, which made it possible to park in Zone C, and there are some corners where it is possible without too much trouble to find a space not far from the hotel. With regards to the room: very grateful I had an upgrade, i.e. slightly bigger room - which was still quite small. I was very impressed by how much the hosts had managed to fit into the room without it appearing cramped: a Nespresso machine, kettle, tea tray, a little fridge, a wall-mounted Smart-TV, a safe, and a double bed. It meant there was very little floor space, though - no desk, no chair, roughly 30-40 cms around the bed was all the room there was. Absolutely fine for what I needed for this weekend - if I had needed to do some work, that might have been challenging. But it was a weekend away after all! Very nice shower room, fluffy towels - all in all everything for a nice and relaxing time.

Room was on the small side, otherwise all good. It didn't bother me, but the offer is for "room only", no breakfast available. A good excuse to explore the cafes in the surrounding area, of which there are plenty - and with kettle and Nespresso machine available you do not have to leave the house uncaffeinated.

Charming, FRAGRANT (gentle Jo Malone diffusion in reception!), super-clean, well appointed and chic little boutique guest house. Absolutely first rate. Steve was delightful and super-knowledgeable and helpful as host. Room was gorgeous and well designed, with lovely, top-notch REN toiletries and DeLonghi tea and coffee-making facilities (chocolate and lovely biscuits a most welcome touch). Brilliant location, sea and excellent breakfast location at either end of the quiet, pretty road.

The 'small' double was, indeed, too small to allow opening a rigid cabin bag flat on the floor. But we managed and would book that room again for its super value. The rate was great.

I recently stayed at the Red Brighton Blue to celebrate my Mum's birthday weekend and was thoroughly impressed. The room was immaculately clean, and its location within walking distance to Brighton city centre and an array of great restaurants and bars made exploring the area effortless. The guest guide provided fantastic tips, and the hosts were exceptionally kind and friendly, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Additionally, they surprised us with a bottle of prosecco and a very thoughtful birthday card, adding a personal touch that truly made our experience unforgettable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and comfortable experience in Brighton.

We came to Brighton for a fun weekend with my son who is at University in central Brighton. Have never visited Red Brighton Blue before, but the reviews were great and so decided to give it a go. And, boy, we were not disappointed !! What a gorgeous place. Steve and Peter made us feel instantly welcomed and were very friendly and helpful throughout our three night stay. The hotel is really beautiful and the location is superb. I lived in Brighton for ten years during the 90's and never really explored the Kemptown area. Shame on me as it is so lovely. Some really nice restaurants and cafes and bars (many of which we were signposted to by Steve and Peter); both the area and Red Brighton Blue have such a lovely vibe.. we will definitely be coming back to stay again next time we visit my lad. Brighton is such a fun city and has a special place in my heart.. staying at the Red Brigton Blue made it even more perfect.

Next time we visit I would probably splash out on one of the bigger double rooms; the room we had was a small double and was beautifully decorated, comfortable and good value for money; however, I think I would have liked more room to maneouvre so will upgrade next time.

What isn’t there to like? This is by far the best place I’ve stayed in the Brighton and Hove area! The owners couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. They go out their way to ensure your stay is catered for in every way. They even book taxis or local restaurant bookings for you showing they also have a community support network. I absolutely love the rear garden its a little sanctuary of calm when in the middle of a busy city. The rooms and communal areas to use are IMMACULATE - not just clean but immaculate. The owners have excelled in providing finishing touches. Little things such as an Alexa voice activated box, a fancy coffee machine plus a kettle, a mini room fridge to keep your drinks cold, a decent Tv with apps and all you could want to use it for on it, a complimentary chocolate on check-in (nice personal touch), branded complementary toiletries, electronic door keys, modern furnishings…..the list of compliments is endless. There’s nothing on show that looks tired or in need of updating, everything looks brand new! I give them a firm 11/10 score if it was possible. I absolutely loved the bathroom I had which had a rain shower head which was a treat to use in itself. Staying here is an all round service for your stay. And you’re also given peace of mind that they consider the impact on our environment with products they provide and having auto sensor lights in the rooms to save our environment. I could go on and on here…lol! One compliment I need to point out is they provide a decent checkin hour which tends to be earlier than most other hotels. Checkin currently is from 1.00pm as opposed to 3pm enabling you to settle quicker and get on with your day. This is a huge benefit. I have rebooked and extended my stay here for another 5 days I love it so much. I wish Red Brighton Blue all the success they deserve for pouring their hearts into our home from home. Thank you both!

Fabulous hotel which is spotlessly clean and decorated impeccably. It is the perfect mixture of period charm together with all the modern conveniences you could need. A variety of teas, coffee Nespresso machine, hot chocolate, biscuits and water are supplied and replenished daily. There is a large TV which includes Netflix, Alexa, good WiFi, a safe and small fridge. The beds and pillows are super comfy and the bathroom is very modern with a great shower. Steve gave us a very warm welcome and was very helpful. The hotel is ideally situated just up the street from the seafront and within a few minutes walk of restaurants and bars and about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the town centre. We would highly recommend Red Brighton Blue and would definitely stay again if visiting Brighton in the future. Thank you Steve and Peter, there is nothing you could improve on - absolutely perfect!

arrived at the property and the owner was waiting for us to arrive. Couldn't have been more helpful, assisted us with luggage, helped my partner with directions of where to park our car. we went to the room which was beautiful, clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. we got changed and went out for dinner, as we left the owner gave us lots of suggestions of places to eat and drink locally and was full of helpful information on the local area, he gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit the following day and nice places to go for breakfast the following morning. The bed was extremely comfortable everything was spotlessly clean and the owner couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back for a stay here again this year. :-)

If I had to say anything negative the only thing I could possible say would be that we were not told that parking was chargeable, booking.com just said parking available but didn't state we would have to pay extra. its wasn't a lot so not really an issue but maybe it should state that on their website. this would be an issue with booking.com and not the hotel itself.

An unforgettable stay at Red, Brighton, Blue B&B made my visit to Brighton exceptional! The charming ambiance, coupled with the warm hospitality of the staff, created an inviting atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The room was immaculate, kettle & coffee machine, snacks, mini fridge, bathroom full of amenities- all the good things that made my stay super enjoyable. Waking up to a short walk to the seaside each morning was a delightful treat, offering a special holiday, which made my stay incredible. The location couldn't have been more perfect, providing easy access to Brighton's attractions and the stunning beachfront. The attention to detail throughout the B&B, combined with the personalized service, truly elevated my experience. Kudos to the team at Red, Brighton, Blue for their dedication to ensuring guests have a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this gem of a B&B to anyone seeking a cozy, welcoming, and delightful stay in Brighton.

The Red Brighton Blue is, without doubt, the most welcoming, beautifully appointed and simply delightful hotel I have had the pleasure to stay at, and I am fortunate enough to have been able to travel extensively. The attention to detail was second to none. The room and the entire house was spotless. Just as important, the owners, Steve and Peter, made us feel like guests rather than customers as they were so welcoming. We've already recommended Red Brighton Blue to our friends and family. We hope to stay at the Red Brighton Blue again soon!
