I was able to spend 2 nights at the Brighton Black Hotel & Hot Tubs. The accommodation is in a quiet location with a direct view of the sea. Nevertheless, it is very central and you can get to the center quickly. The room was very large, very comfortable and had everything you need. During the entire stay, communication with the host (Millie) took place via WhatsApp. From check-in to check-out, everything was very easy and uncomplicated. The main reason for this was the direct response via WhatsApp from Millie. I had a great time and would like to thank Millie for her individual support. It was great and I highly recommend the accommodation!

Staff was friendly and you can very easily for a small fee extend your stay in the day, revive early check-in and the option of a late checkout.

Having a room at the front of the property can be.bit noisy in the evening. The shower was a bit cramp, but water pressure was great.

was advertised there was a hot tub on property, as advertised. left messages l I left messages as to location. ? no reply when I checked checked out , I ran into housekeeper , and said spac that the space is used for storage. serious false advertising. I booked the property because I’ve gone through a leg operation and because I just had leg operation, and looking forward to the relaxing spa. I would like to stay again next month, but would like like management to address this possibly with me directly

The location fantastic and staff I did meet were super helpful. All messages were answered quickly and without feeling like you were talking to someone faceless. My requests were all answered and in a timely fashion so I didn't feel like I was left hanging. Really really clean and lovely housekeeping staff helping making room transfer seamless!

I think that at booking it should have been made much more clear that a £100 deposit is required. I'm fortunate to have the funds in my account but some may just budget for the room as the price that comes up on the app is what you pay. . Unfortunately the family room that we booked was a little small and very dark no lighting. But the double is amazing...large and light.perfect

Thank you to the staff at Black Hotel It was a nice stay I would refuse to write something negative purely because it shows before the positive.But there were no real negatives. I've paid ALOT more for worse places

The hotel situation was great. Right in the middle of Kemptown. Easy for beach and St. James Street restaurants and bars. Key to access room was a little sticky but the room was great and bed was REALLY comfortable. We really liked it. I would stay again. There was a mini bar advertised but it wasn't there. I didn't mind that as we had a little fridge to use.

It was a little off putting before arrival to receive an e mail about fines for breakages and damages including making stains on sheets and towels. I would have cancelled after reading that as it made us feel uncomfortable. We did break a glass by accident and were a little anxious thinking about the e mail. but the staff were really lovely and put us at ease. The pre arrival e mail could be rewritten as it is a bit off-putting. Other than that all was great

Close to the beach it offers easy access to city centre and its amenities! Although self-check in can be a bit confusing at first it’s one of the cheaper options around and it catered for our group of 3 easily.

Rooms are a bit small (but for the price - still decent) and check in was confusing. A little bit worrisome as we got there and there was about a months worth post in the letterbox and looked a bit dodgy from outside.

Very lovely staff, made sure everything is ok and that we will enjoy our stay. Got an upgrade to the suit with sea side view for free due to some working on the deluxe double room. the breakfast was great and the hot tube was amazing. Very close to the town centre and lots of pubs. the balcony sea view was fantastic. Warm and cozy, with YouTube and Netflix.

There isn’t something I didn’t like, maybe I will just suggest to invest in some double glazed windows as the windows are old but even with that it will be just the factor of the noise that comes from the street, as they have very good quality curtains and can retain the temperature without becoming colder.

Excellent Location…Kemp Town is just brilliant…a lovely quant & quiet location , a positive & charming oasis from the Town Centre..yet ,at the same time ,just a few minutes away (a slow 10 m & probably less)..& Also .. ,a long stones throw away from Brighton Beach. Very Comfortable en suite room (with all the frills & necessary accessories to hand (should you need-I did not,,,but nice they were there)…particularly impressed by the Large well positioned Smart TV ..with which I was easily able to ‘marry’ my YouTube , Netflix , IPlayer & Amazon Prime accounts with - Happy Days!😎 ….& last & certainly not least…the very lovely Staff…who were professionally attentive & charming ,at the same time….I need a quiet ,well located place,occasionally , for R&R (mainly) I will most certainly be returning here… Thank You OTTO (et Al) 😎👍🏿
