Stayed for one night. Good location, easy walk to Clifton Village. Close to bus stop (Number 8 for Temple Meads) and supermarkets etc. Friendly, helpful receptionist who booked me a taxi (using Veezu who were great) and provided extra pillow, teabags and milk. Stayed in single room which was clean and comfortable with good shower and nice touches such as free fruit, tea, coffee and biscuits. Also a payable mini bar. Overlooked road but had double glazing so traffic noise not an issue for me. Restaurant/ bar on site.
Room was initially too hot for my liking but was able to turn radiator off so it was fine and didn’t need to sleep with window open as it was February. Guess could be an issue in warmer months when street noise could make sleeping with window open noisy. Decor basic and a bit dated but absolutely fine, in my opinion, given the comfort, value and convenience offered for a brief stay. As with most old buildings, soundproofing not great so had some noise from corridor/ adjoining rooms but thankfully minimal and not too much of a problem on this occasion.

The staff are absolutely fantastic. Young, friendly, accommodating, just exceptional. A couple of things in my initial room needed addressing due to my health requirements and the staff went beyond to make me comfortable and have a pleasant stay. It was brilliant. I haven't given top marks for value for money as I always think hotel rooms could be cheaper ;) But I would absolutely stay here again. I would recommend asking for a room that isn't on the bar side as can imagine that may be quite loud but that's just me (someone who needs sleep and peace!) My single room was comfortable, cosy and perfect for a long stay (8 days).
I initially had booked a small single room, and I did find the one I was given initially too small - ok for an overnight or weekend stay but certainly not for anything longer as it was too cramped. Just a tip for anyone who is looking to stay there for longer than couple of nights.

Lovely hotel. We've had a problem with our neighbour who was disturbing us during the first night watching tv on full sound and coughing/vomiting. We decided to call reception to ask this guest at least to turn the tv sound down. They were very helpful and solved half of this problem promptly, but coughing have not stopped and we could not sleep all night so the next morning I asked a to be moved to another room. The reception staff and cleaning staff lady was amazing. They moved us and even moved our luggage when we were away. Thank you!
Even though we were moved from one room to another one(very spacious and beautiful) it was extremely cold. Radiators started working after 1 hour and then during the night they were turned offed again. But even with radiators on the room was too big to make it warm. Hotel should consider to solve heating problem.

Arrived at the Clifton late on and was greeted by a lovely young lady on reception who guided me through all i needed to know about my stay. Even pointed me in the right direction of the local Indian takeaway! The room was absolutely perfect for what i needed. Small but very comfy. Cant ask for much more in a single room. Had my own minibar, flat screen tv and en-suite bathroom which was perfect. The room was clean and warm. Really enjoyed my stay there. Noah is a gentleman may i add. I had to catch an early flight from Bristol to Glasgow and he arranged my travel from the hotel to the airport with no fuss. Thanks again. Mark

I had booked a single room but was offered a free upgrade to a double. The location was perfect for me and the parking was convenient. Had a drink and some food in the restaurant which was good.
I had been warned that my room was within earshot of the bar/restaurant and so could be noisy till midnight potentially (and was offered a quiet room instead). I was happy with that but expected voices not loud music. I slept as I was very tired but other people should just be aware of the music noise if they don't go for a quiet room.

Great bar and restaurant although book breakfast ahead of time as the on day price ( £15 ) is high
Shower was barely warm and then it changed to cold almost immediately having got in for the fact that it’s not the best breakfast with Hash browns cooked in deep fat fryer thus changing the flavours to the Fish previously cooked in it and mushrooms cut so small and lacking in flavour they were a waste of time CHEFS! Leave mushrooms whole and cook! Hash browns should be cooked in the oven then they taste like potatoes not the fish from the fat fryer

All of the staff were really helpful and polite, and the reception and breakfast teams especially so, thank you! Location was perfect. Fruit in the room was a nice touch. Bed was comfy, if a little short! I requested a quieter room away from the bar (as I had an early start), and my room at the other side of the hotel had virtually no outside noise which was great.
The room was a bit tired, and noise from corridors and adjacent rooms could be heard as it's an old building. But the positives definitely outweigh any negatives.

Pleasant stay visiting son and goddaughter excellent location for both. Very friendly helpful staff. Nice bar with happy hour cocktails 😀 Good to have the ability to park for £12 extra a day Nice touches in the room of local ground coffee and cafetiere, biscuits and fruit on artival Also first hotel I have stayed in with a recycling divided bin which all should do. Would expect this in Bristol though
Small but adequate sized room for a few days bathroom particularly challenging getting in and out of bath past shower door. Occasional noise from bar next door

- Great location. 15 mins walk to Downs, 30 mins to Temple Mead Station, close to coffee shops, M&S, pubs, bars - Lovely bar and drinks area inside and outside with food - Friendly staff - 24/7 reception - Not sure why everyone keeps saying the rooms are so small. they’re not huge, but definitely completely fine for the price - space for desk/ kettle/ mini fridge, small storage cupboard and to move around. The single room was perfect for a weekend stay - good shower - Clean
- The bed wasn’t comfortable for me, but was for others, so maybe that’s a personal preference thing

The hotel is very clean and in a lovely area of Bristol. The room was simple but comfortable, with a bed bigger than a usual single. The room was on the third floor and quite hot, but they provide an electric fan. The bathroom was good and very clean. The staff is exceptionally helpful; I had a skirt which I needed to dry clean and they arranged it very well and also accommodated me in the quiet room I had requested (thanks Katie!). Breakfast in the pub below the hotel is very good. The hotel also allow early check-in/late check out if available (something I rarely find in hotels and I travel quite frequently): it was a great option and made my travelling a lot easier. Highly recommended hotel.
The temperature of the shower was very difficult to regulate and was either super hot or very cold.
