When we first arrived we had a room on the inside of the hotel which was a shame because it was a nice day and the only window faced a wall. When I questioned if it was possible to change to one with a view at reception , they didn't hesitate to accommodate us. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were lovely, on the desk and at the bar. we got a complimentary drink ( which you do anyway when you book there) We arrived at 2:00 p.m. And on the off chance checked if the room was available and they said if we signed up to become a member ( which is free and just requires your email address) you could have a free early check-in so we got straight in the room at 2:00 pm. I was really impressed with the hotel and their hospitality. The location was directly opposite the hippodrome where we were going to watch a musical. Had a lovely bath in the room etc. We are definitely coming back. I work with the general public and it's not always easy to be so friendly and accommodating so thank you for that experience x
I can't really think of any negatives other than I suppose they could have had a spa or a pool (but it really didn't bother us. We didn't go to Bristol city centre to stay in the hotel for hours! ) Just couldn't think of anything else to say

The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. There were good blackout curtains and no noise from other rooms/corridors, so we were able to have a good night sleep. All the staff we interacted with were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The location was good and very close to the Beacon and theatres.
The car park on site must be booked before visiting, which was not something we were made aware of upon booking (nor within the multiple emails received offering upgrades.). This was frustrating and I think should have been made clear at the point of booking, as there was no available space for us to park during our stay. The room, although mostly clean, had a weird luggage seat (which looked reclaimed from an 80s bus), which had some ominous stains all over it. This was not a great look, and I would encourage the hotel to reupholster this 'feature'.

The location for Bristol city was great. Bed was big and comfy. It was very quiet. Good soundproofing. Staff were lovely, and happy to store our bags before check in. Lift quiet and quick. Room had fridge and complimentary water. Reception and bar downstairs was lovely.
Unfortunately there was a big wet patch on the carpet at the bathroom door we had room 1100. Not sure why or what it was. It would have been good to have been told about this before going to the room. Was worried it could be a leak or that when we checked out staff might think it was us. I did go to reception that night. And told staff again in the morning. The staff offered free breakfast which was a nice gesture. But it wasn’t something we wanted so we didn’t use it. The bathroom screen needs changed as it’s a bit mouldy and broken at the wall. Although rest was nice.

when we had issues which i will not go into the staff were incredibly helpful.
I have stayed here twice this year and received traffic penalty fines both times as coming by car north of Bristol the sat nav to Broad St or Marsh St sends you into bus lanes which is the ony way of getting to the hotel. You have to approach Marsh St from a different road which is Prince St. How would we ever know this. In future if you know a guest has booked the car park it would be helpful if you named the street to approach the hotel so as to avoid the over £200 in fines that i have incurred.

Hotel itself in a very good location - directly opposite the Hippodrome, two doors away from Turtle Bay, a 5min walk to ZaZaBazaar, 10/15min walk to the O2 Academy and 10/15min walk from a pretty good choice of other bars/restaurants. If you wanted to venture a little further, Cabot Circus is approximately 15-25mins walk. Breakfast is well worth including with a selection of hot food - eggs, bacon, mushrooms and beans, cold food - selection of Greek Yoghurt and fresh fruit and continental/pastries. Selection of hot drinks - Tea / Fruit Teas / Coffee and cold fresh orange/apple juice.
I didn't enjoy the cold shower in the morning! (Turns out there was an issue with one of the site's boilers as the coffee machine was also affected.) Although the hotel has an immaculate/inviting reception area, the lobby bar/offerings presented were a little on the sad side.. This was soon to be reflected by the flat serving of Madri (quite possibly more life in a morgue!)

During our stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bristol, we particularly appreciated several aspects: • Prime Location: The hotel is centrally situated, offering easy access to Bristol’s main attractions, shops, and restaurants. • Comfortable Rooms with Stunning Views: Our room was spacious and modern, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provided panoramic views of the city and harbor. • Friendly and Helpful Staff: The staff were professional, accommodating, and attentive to our needs, enhancing our overall experience. • Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of hot and cold items, catering to various dietary preferences. • Modern Amenities: We enjoyed the well-equipped fitness center and reliable free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
While our stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bristol had many positive aspects, there were a few areas that could be improved. • Noise Levels: Due to its central location, the hotel is surrounded by lively bars and restaurants, which can result in noise disturbances, especially during weekends. • Lighting in Rooms: I think that the room lighting is insufficient, making the spaces feel dim.

Well positioned for local bars and restaurants. Onsite parking for a small fee. Wonderful breakfast in the room. Great view of the harbour from the room I was in.
Bed wasn't the most comfortable and the pillows were too soft. Coffee machine and fridge were missing from my room but it was only an overnight stay so not really a problem. Lighting was okay in the bedroom but needs better lighting over the mirror in the bathroom. A walk in shower would be good too rather than a shower over the bath.

It was very central and easy to see the sites and good having a car parking space. The rooms were clean up to a point. The reception staff were really helpful. The stuff in the restaurant will also very helpful, but there was not enough.
They were not enough staff in the restaurant at breakfast and my friend is coeliac and can only have gluten-free. There was a gluten-free station but over the four days we were there sometimes it was totally empty. She had to ask for cereal which came in the bag from the box and was quite stale and also she had to ask for toast as well there was a definite shortage of plates and bowls and we had to ask every day for a bowl for cereal or a plate to put bread on. The butter knife had been used for the jam as well and it would’ve been better if the butter had been individually wrapped. My friend did have individually wrapped but as she was coeliac and I do not see why that could not have been the same for everybody.

I really appreciated the excellent location of the hotel, which made it convenient for getting around. The cleanliness of the property was also impressive.
I was disappointed with the room arrangement. Despite requesting and paying for an early check-in, the room was not ready upon my arrival, which was inconvenient. Additionally, there was no assistance provided for my luggage—I had to carry it myself, which is not what I expected from the level of service promised.
