The property looks like it’s recently been renovated, everything is spotless but not only that, the attention to detail is amazing everywhere. Kudos to whoever has designed the interior of this fabulous place. In addition to that, it’s got an amazing bar, great restaurant and it’s been a long while since I’ve seen service to the level provided here. It’s not often I say this but we were blown away by how good this place was.

If I was being picky then I would say that our bedroom was too hot (yes, the heating was off!).

My bed was amazing and having Netflix on the TV was an a wonderful touch after a long days work, a film in bed was ideal. The following night I stayed at another place nearby, it wasn't a patch on your hotel !

Only small detail, although the coffee was delicious in the room, I was too tired to go to eat so bought a pasta in a pot, a kettle would have been ideal as the water in the coffee pot just wasn't boiling enough to cook the pasta properly, i would have preferred a good old fashioned kettle in my room.

I attended a middle distance triathlon and the friendly staff ensured I was as comfortable as possible. They were fully flexible, understandable and the room was sparkling clean with a super beautiful bathroom. The bar and restaurant deliver nutritious and delicious food with plenty of options as well. It's a shame I went for one night only because I would love to stay for at least 3 nights more my staying in a super comfortable hotel.

This hotel is in a great village with outside tables in the sun, serving drinks and food as needed, the staff are very helpful and my diner and breakfast all really good. it was a delight to say over and will do so again

my only comment is that for the quality of the hotel I think the bedding and maybe the pillows need upgrading all good but not very soft, they do not live up to the rest of the hotel.

We didn’t have breakfast as we were so full from a lovely dinner the night before!

We were in room 201 and had to have the windows open all night because it was warm. The road outside was busier than normal and at 5 am the dustmen arrived with a flashing light whilst reversing! Closed the windows and shutters but still pretty noisy. Perhaps other rooms wouldn’t hear

Very well decorated throughout. Room was light and airy with comfortable bed. Good shower. Everything was absolutely spotless. Good food and drink in the bar and restaurant. Lovely cooked breakfast. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Absolutely minor point but the mugs provided in the room for tea and coffee were ridiculously small.

The room was large, spacious and beautiful, the decor was so breathtaking and it was amazing for such good value. The staff were lovely and acomedating and overall we will be looking to stay again very soon!!!

Very high level of customer service. Staff were excellent and made an immediate impression. Nice food, some tasty beers. Room tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed. Will definitely book again.

The room was above the kitchen, but that quietened down after the restaurant closed. I'd recommend they also turn out the Orangery lights at night, both for environment, cost and they shone straight into the bedroom.

Easy to access from the A1, the George Hotel was a charming hotel. The staff were extremely polite, professional and attentive. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I had a meal in the bar, the food was cooked fresh and offered great value for money. The choice of breakfast was very good and the cooked breakfast was super, again cooked to order.
