This is a perfectly located bed and breakfast in a lovely town. The hosts were very helpful and provided wonderful suggestions. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of choices. There are many accessible hikes in the area and there is a bus that runs through town regularly that can take you to/near lots of locations outside of Beddgelert making this a good spot for other day trips. We felt safe, welcome and comfortable

It's true all over Europe in these out of the way places: the bathroom was small with no real shelf space. We were prepared for this, but others should be aware.

An outstanding B&B! Attentive owners, the attention detail was incredible, everything had been thought of. The room was super clean, breakfast was made to order and fresh. It was important to us to have a quiet room with views which we absolutely got. The decor throughout the B&B was tasteful and the outdoor area was beautiful. The guest room has an extremely well stocked refreshment bar at very reasonable prices. We will be back!

Parking is a short walk away, there is no way of stopping outside the property but the quality of the B&B outweighs this slight inconvenience.

The Welsh breakfast was delicious and a very generous serving, on lovely hot plates The table was nicely set. The seeded bread toast was particularly tasty. Excellent filter coffee. Our room was spotless. Very comfortable mattress. Pleasing decor. Sockets in all the right places! The location was excellent, being mid-way between Portneirion Village and the Snowdonia Mountain Railway. It was quiet apart from the soothing sound of the river that runs through the village. Nice river walks. There was plenty of parking.

Owners were friendly, accomodating and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean with an outstanding view. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection and enough food to keep you going until tea time. Lovely patio garden with a commanding view overlooking the village.

On site parking would have been the icing on the cake but accommodation was in the centre of the village and therefore impossible. However parking was available only 80 to 100m up the road and very reasonably priced.

Right opposite the river and next to the bridge in Beddgelert, the location is picture perfect. Mark and Annette were great hosts and helped with any queries we had. We arrived late, but we kept them informed and Annette was waiting on our arrival. The breakfast was fabulous, and a great start to our 2 days in north Wales. The room with ensuite was very quiet (top floor) and overlooking the river. Room very clean and warm, furnishings classy and bed comfortable. Standard of decor and upkeep throughout is very good.

Nothing. We were very happy with Beddgelert as a base for our stay. We just didn't realise pubs tend to stop serving food fairly early (around 7:30pm when we were there) but we were very well looked after by the staff at The Saracen's Head, and they managed to squeeze us in. The meal was great, specifically the local beef!

Excellent location in the heart of Snowdonia. Very nice and quiet B&B. Friendly hosts advised us about a great walk in the area. Pre-ordering breakfast the night before meant that there was no waste of food on the day.

It would have been good to have a set of drawers in the room to store our belonging better. One of the photos to advertise the property shows an interesting garden on the rocks which I had been looking forward to explore, but upon arrival we were told it was private and out of bounds. Unloading/loading is a little tricky as the property is on the main road through the village and there's no pavement in front.

Hosts were so lovely! Annette has excellent attention to detail and eye for quality touches and that extra level of care. Just what you want in a host. She cooked a super breakfast too! Mark was very charming and made us feel totally relaxed and at home. The room was excellent and very clean. Gorgeous view out the window of the village , river and mountains.

Breakfast was very good and the owners offered us an earlier start when the time we requested was full. This suited our requirements very well. We were also given a lift to the starting point of one of our all-day walks which was a huge help. The proprietors were helpful in advising us regarding eating out, and washed and dried some of our clothing following a wet mountain hike. The patio was a lovely place to sit early evening, with a delightful view of the river, the village and the mountains.

The only thing that could have improved the accomodation would have been somewhere to dry wet boots.

we stayed for 3 nights and loved everything about this place - Our hosts, Annette and Mark were welcoming, friendly and responsive to our needs. the location of this BnB is perfect and our room overlooking the water course and mountains in the background was stunning. our Welsh full breakfast was top class as well highly recommend staying here if you are in area

Annette and Mark were great hosts and super informative about all the hikes you can do in the area. The rooms were clean and tidy with coffee/tea facilities. The property location was close to Snowden and the town was lovely and charming. Loads of pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the guest house.

The single beds were a bit too small/narrow.
