Location is superb overlooking the beach and sea. Very convenient centre for touring north-west Wales. Car park is small and most guests park on the narrow road leading to the hotel and have to pull very close to a wall or hedge, but it's not a problem. Food was excellent, wonderful choice of breakfasts, although dinner is a bit expensive. A nice bar and comfortable lounge to relax, and garden with tables outside. Staff are very friendly - my wife is living with dementia but they were extremely understanding and helpful. Most staff speak Welsh, so if you also speak it, it's great to be able to chat in your own language. I would certainly recommend Caerwylan and look forward to returning before long. Diolch yn fawr!
Dinner is possibly a bit expensive, although excellent. Otherwise, pleased with everything!

I had travelled solo for the first time and stayed here for one night. It was truly excellent. I am disabled and worry when going alone but the staff were very friendly, able to accommodate my needs, helping with my bags and breakfast request also. Lovely hotel, lift and breakfast was delicious also. There’s lots of public street parking along the promenade, right opposite the beach and lovely garden seating area too. There’s lots of pubs, restaurants and a nisa shop minutes away as well as a car park with disabled spaces further down the promenade near a beautiful restaurant at the end. The staff are excellent, very friendly, went out of their way to help me without judgement and made my stay perfect. I can’t wait to stay again soon, 10/10 recommend.
There was truly nothing I didn’t like. Full marks all round!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel was exactly what we'd hoped for, and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were excellent (we tried most options!). We also ate dinner in the restaurant most nights which again, was of a high standard. There was no actual car park for the hotel but we had no issues at all, choosing to park either in front of the hotel (quite narrow lane) or just down on the beach front, all free of charge. We'd definitely like to return another time.
Nothing springs to mind really.

Arriving late at night literally 30 mins after booking, I was greeted warmly. The single room was plainly furnished but modern and well equipped with en suite, hairdryer, toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. The view was lovely, floodlit castle, hotel gardens and and beach, depending on where you looked. The public rooms were very stylish and modern and the location is perfect.. quiet and overlooking the beach which is where I enjoyed a glass of wine listening to the waves lapping. Breakfast was marvellous. Help yourself continental pastries, cereal, a number of juices and fruit salad. The hot breakfast had a number of options, both traditional and modern and was served quickly and well presented. The staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Altogether a wonderful experience!
Nothing… it was just lovely

This hotel was excellent : great location, good food, helpful staff and comfy beds. I forgot my phone charger but they lent me one! Breakfast was a fabulous start to our morning of exploring the area. Probably not an hotel for anyone with mobility issues - there is a lift but many levels and steps on every floor too. I would love to stay here again in the future
Nothing.

The staff were all really good. Every single one of them was friendly and attentive. Like they genuinely cared that you were being looked after. They all seemed to get on well with each other too which was nice. The food was good. The shower was excellent. The fact that I could open a window in my room was good because I like fresh air. The view and position on the seafront is fabulous.
Very minor inconvenience was the car park which was 50 yards along the back lane. I was on my motorbike so I had to carry my bags in my leathers and I was in a lather! (1st world problems!) But more seriously for my bike, the car park is gravel and so not as stable for putting the bike onto the stand. But as I say - a minor inconvenience. My room out the back looked onto the train track but only a couple of trains went past so it was no problem.

The staff were friendly and helpful There's a super cute VERY old lift/elevator with the gate that reminded me of the titanic. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was huge and super comfortable. Very classy serving style with regards to the food
Either the cleaning products or an air freshener they use was really strong and it gave me a headache but others may be absolutely fine with it

Our lovely room, with the sea view. The size of the room and bathroom were great too. Restaurant was lovely and the food very very good . Staff were excellent and helpful.
It was a shame that we were not comfortable at our dining table in the evening (right by the door, where staff were coming in and out with the food.) We were moved to a different table at the back of the restaurant but that was not quite right either and sitting looking through the open back door, that was not particularly neat and tidy outside, was not conducive to a relaxing experience. We had booked with you in advance of our stay too. We were aware that non residents to the hotel were dining that evening and they seemed to have priority. The food was very good though.

We were a group of 10 motorcyclists we had arranged food but our ferry was delayed by 2 hours and we had to cancel pre ordered meals expecting the hotel to expect payment due to the short notice. However they were very kind and understanding and no cost was charged. The hotel is in a lovely sea side location with a castle. Breakfast was fantastic and all the staff were very attentive without being annoying. The room was very clean and well presented. Excellent all round place to stay.
