Lovely stay in Beddgelert, quiet, clean, comfortable room (superior twin). Great shower over bath tub. Generous, tasty breakfast included in price; enjoyed one morning the bio-live yoghurts produced locally and the Welsh breakfast the next morning; I feel like I should mention the coffee as it was really nice and I don't say that often ;) The restaurant boosts a warm atmosphere; I enjoyed the seafood basket and my partner found the double burger delicious and ... rather gigantic! ;) The staff were really friendly and helpful. Looking forward to stay here again on our future Wales adventures.
Small car park at the back; it does get full if arriving late, so we needed to be a bit "creative" around it every evening - we managed to park in it eventually. Also, we found check-out a bit too early (10:00am) as breakfast is between 08:00-09:30am anyway, so we felt a bit rushed. Truth is we weren't pushed to leave on time - but probably would have been less stressed with a later check-out.

Room very spacious with a nice clean modern design. Comfortable bed. Nicely finished bathroom. Powerful shower. Large bath. Room had everything necessary. Excellent location. Tasty breakfast. Dog friendly. Wonderful staff who were very helpful.
One small improvement could be some more sustainable products/practices. The milk for the room comes in single use glass bottles, and the ketchup in the restaurant is all in little plastic sachets. There also didn't appear to be recycling of the breakfast cereal boxes. A minor thing, and perhaps these practices might be too difficult in North Wales but a possible improvement could be made here.

Staff were really accommodating. We'd just completed the 3 Peaks and needed to crash out asap Sunday morning and they turned over our rooms from the previous guests as quick as they could so we could sleep. They then kept the darts/pool room open for us to celebrate that night when usually it'd be closed up - just give us the best experience!
Breakfast though really good could have had the options printed out. We were told we could have whatever we liked but it wasn't communicated what that exactly meant!

A value for money hotel, bar and pub grub in the heart of Snowdonia so if you're looking for a country hotel this isn't for you. This was our third visit and we have never been disappointed. Good choice at breakfast, friendly staff and the hotel was clean throughout. Quiet nights sleep, just what I needed after a day walking.
There isn't much not to like unless you're looking for a spa hotel. If I'm being over critical I would suggest they need more staff serving a breakfast. Breakfast is from 8 until 9.30 but I guess most guests want to get out and explore the area as soon as possible. Consequently most go down for breakfast at 8 meaning that the server and kitchen are very busy. That is being over critical and the server was friendly and being as efficient as he possibly could with several guests arriving at the same time for breakfast.

The location was perfect for staying at whilst going on adventures to climb up Snowdon. Staff were so friendly and full of advice and recommended some nice places to go and visit whilst there in Wales. We stayed in room 10 and it was a lovely size (wish my bedroom at home was this big) The room was very warm, but nothing you can’t sort out with opening up a few windows if it’s not your thing. The food at Saracens Head was all exceptional! REAL FOOD like hearty home cooked meals. I loved that breakfast time had no menu’s, you could ask them to make what you wanted. I will miss the food for sure! WE WOULD STAY AGAIN!

The property was furnished very tastefully and in good order. It was nice and clean and the facilities were good. We had booked an evening meal in the restaurant which was served in reasonable time considering how busy they were. It was well presented and cooked to a high standard, as was breakfast the next morning. The high point of the stay were the staff. We were greeted by Rachel and another young lady who were both very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I stayed at The Saracens Head before and will definitely stay again.

Our room was lovely, absolutely spotless with two big sash windows, a bathroom with great shower and a huge bed. We and the two basset hounds were very comfortable, the dog treats and poo bags were a nice touch. The rooms are only serviced upon request but we prefer that, we just asked for towels and supplies and they were happily given; then we requested a refresh halfway through the week. Breakfast is continental: cereal, fruit, meat and cheese, occasional pastries and as much toast as you can eat, with tea and coffee. If you fancy a full Welsh the pub down the road or the cafe over the bridge serve excellent breakfasts. The entire hotel is dog friendly and Bert and Bea met many new friends. The bar area is great, with cosy areas, a games room, and outside seating. Unfortunately, evening meals were not fully available during our stay but hopefully this will be resolved soon.... the village is suffering with staffing issues, as is most of the service industry at the moment. However, delicious pizza is available nearby (book a slot online) and the pub was happy for us to eat it at the hotel with a drink from the bar. We had a fabulous week on our first ever visit to Wales and we will be back next year!
We loved everything.

The Saracens Head was exceptionally clean and well presented hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful breakfast albiet only an a la carte menu.
The only downside was the availability of the hotels facilities. On the Friday night we arrived, we were unable to get a hot meal. So we had the traditional pub food i.e. a packet of crisps. We were told they didn't have a chef that evening. On the second night there was food served, but we had already brought a pizza down the road. We were under the understanding the chef problem was a permanent situation, but obviously just a temporary availability. On the third night after coming down from climbing Snowdon, the whole hotel closed at 6pm and all locked up, luckily our set of keys given on arrival included the front door. It sounds like we hated our stay here, but apart from the above which were situations we overcome the general experience we had at the Saracens Head was exceptional.

Property is located in a beautiful residential area, stunning views in the area, everything went above and beyond. The staff are fantastic, helpful and friendly, nothing is too much for them, always happy to help. Room very comfy and spacious and clean. The chef is amazing, Chris you’re the best chef.
Nothing to say about anything, everything was as expected and beyond.
