We had wonderful 7 night stay here, Hotel is amazing and centre of Cambridge, everything walkable. Kalpana and Rajkiran from the reception was very helpful in our stays, checked in by them, they always help us for everything, for luggage, taxi, dinner bookings etc, everyone was good, but these two were very helpful. Beds and pillows are very comfy, we stayed in a family room with a river view, lovely room, accomodatable for 3 people, Cambridge touch, lovely wallpapers in bedroom and bathroom. Clean and tidy. The entrance of the hotel has the punts on the wall which is amazing and the DNA helium balls designs are amazing. We had breakfast there, its a buffet affordable for everyone. We had 2 times dinner there very nice. Garden terrace with the lovely cam view where we can see people punting over the river.

Just some bar staffs don't care even the guests are in front, they ignore us.

We came early to check-in the room was not available but the staff was so helpful, Kalpana from the reception very kind and helpful, got our luggages and kept safe and when we came back she gave us knowledge about the hotel, restaurants and museums around, very knowledgeable. The river cam view is wonderful, punts on the wall and the bar looks so attractive, bed was comfy and good, overall good stay and enjoyed. All the staffs are wonderful. Will come again

The room was not cleaned properly, full of dust and crumps, under the bed we found some other peoples dress and the bed doesn't have mattress, used tea cups in the room we called reception they sent new ones, no shower gel in the morning we found that, lack of attention to the cleanliness.

Very good central location with parking. It was easy to walk everywhere within the city centre so it was good to have somewhere to leave the car securely though you did have to pay for this. The breakfast buffet was well organised and good quality and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The room was on the cramped size and a bit dark but had everything you could want and we didn't spend much time in our room anyway .Decor was very nice and bathroom well equipped and clean.

The restaurant was closed on 2 of the nights we were staying and it wasn't clear what the opening times were. We ate in the bar on the day of our arrival. Service was exceptionally slow and the seating was poor for eating. We found out that the restaurant was open on the last night of our stay when we arrived back but this was not advertised and we might have eaten there if we had known instead of going out.

The hotel was great - we booked superior size which didn’t disappoint. Bed was large, spacious sofa and overall great facilities. Free bike rental for 2 hours is great, the view from the garden and evening sitting out in the garden was magical. Great. Perfect walkable distance from the city

I thought the breakfast (personally) was a bit letdown. They stay was on the pricey side, so I had high expectations. The soft drinks in the hotel bar a little overpriced. There was wedding taking place on Sat night which was a bit unexpected as they didn’t finish the music at midnight as I thought they would… so noisy - especially as we had room facing that garden side.

Brilliant location. Easy access to historic Cambridge, a garden area with bar overlooking the river and comfortable spacious rooms (with air con that really worked - which was desperately needed on what ended up being some of the hottest days of the year!). We loved the garden setting so much we kept returning to for a drink in the early evenings, to watch the punters drift past and the cows on the opposite bank - really quite special! Was great having the pool and leisure club facilities as well.

Didn’t like would be too strong. But by way of constructive feedback: staff were very friendly and well intentioned, but things got a bit chaotic on the Saturday night with too many weddings on at once and - despite the team’s best efforts - the bar went into slight meltdown. Garden area needs to be more attentively managed possibly with a maitre’d or similar. Breakfast experience felt a bit more like a mid-range business hotel offering than a more luxury experience. And one small point, but I’d expect a rainfall shower or similar at this price point (and ideally bathrobes). But don’t let that put you off. I’d still happily pick the Graduate for my next Cambridge stay overall.

Breakfast very good and staff very friendly. The tables are nicely laid out in a very light bright room. The lounge area with comfy chairs and sofas is fabulous. The pool isn't large but my son loved it and my wife likewise liked the gym despite its modest size. The room was not huge but well equipped and very comfortable - the water in the fridge was a nice touch.

One downside is that the coffee is a bit bitter. I'm dairy intolerant so some soya or oat based yoghurts at breakfast would have been brilliant. The lights were out in one lift throughout our stay but that was actually a positive to my son who loved the dark journey - not so for most guests though I suspect.

The room was good and spacious and had a patio/balcony. The breakfast was good. Good selection of hot and cold foods. The location was excellent for our purposes and this is why I picked it. Had a big bar and sitting area around the bar and outside. Outside there was a huge garden and space to sit and enjoy the park and the punting. The food at the bar, the burger and fries that I had, was excellent. Bottles of water were free. You requested at reception.

If you wanted to eat at the bar the latest you could order is 2145 hrs! After this time I was told there was only a pack of peanuts to eat! No crisps or other finger food to compliment your drinks after the kitchen has closed! So the bar itself was open 24/7 so you can drink the night away but no availability for snacks! Parking your car in the hotel car park is extra. Very expensive. (I was paying over UKP 300.00 per night for the room!) They have a valet service for UKP 5.00 so I left my car on arrival for valet to park. At time of departure three days later and whilst I was paying my bill I was told that the valet parking of UKP 5.00 is charged daily for the duration of your stay even though the car never moved from it's parking space since arrival!

We loved the interior design, the rooms reminded of a well-off older American relative’s guest room if that makes sense to you. The bed, mattress and pillows were super comfortable, and we slept exceptionally well. The breakfast had a good selection, and the food and drinks in the restaurant and bar were great too. It’s probably even nicer in summer when you can dine on the terrace. The location is convenient for sightseeing and punting.

The leisure centre and changing rooms are quite small, and kids created long queues, but if you go early AM or late PM, it’s more enjoyable. It would be great if there was another water fountain near the sauna so you don’t have to track to the gym wet and semi naked to refill your bottle. It was very nice of the staff to let us check in slightly earlier, but as a compromise we were told we’ll need to wait 4-5 min for the hot water. In reality, the water never got past cool, so we had to shower in the gym, but the gym didn’t have any products. Perhaps the army of kids had used them all up :)

The location, the decor, room and best of all the staff! Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm smile and helpful staff (Thibaud was great and offered us complimentary cocktails also). We had been given a complimentary upgrade as we were there for a special occasion, and a lovely little welcome note and chocolate from Vee at reception which was a very cute touch. Location was very central which is a plus! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Great attention to detail with one of the interiors I have seen. I would definitely recommend to those who are visiting Cambridge.

There were a few problems we had with housekeeping, however the staff at the reception were very helpful and rectified this at the end of our stay.

The location is exceptional and the trendy decor puts one into the 'graduate' mood of the city. Very welcoming staff. Super walking distance to the main colleges and the Cam 'nextdoor' (for punting, of course!). Best of all was the rear garden where one can soak in the afternoon sun taking in the student athmosphere with a glass of wine...Very comfortable room and bathroom. Had no meals in the hotel.

If anything, although we were given a nice and well designed room (and quiet as asked for), the double bed was quite narrow! One could be left wondering if this was the standard bed double size or that maybe, in the eagerness of the attentive staff to give a 'nicer' room for an older couple, the gentleman at reception assigned us a room maybe better prepared for a disabled individual.
