Everything I liked.. was amazing ..looked after us and more..room was comfortable and cosy..bed very comfortable..Shower was great too.Breakfast was amazing..fresh flowers on the table butter jam fruit yogurt coffe bread cereal choice of cooked food to order.home made plum jam from their plum tree.was delicious.home made scones were to die for and home made biscuits and milk in the fridge..Really was first class ..well done....x

Room was lovely, Bed was so comfy, and Julie, the host, was really friendly and helpful. As we were there for Easter , Julie even left us two complimentary Easter eggs in our room, which was a lovely touch. The location was excellent with lots of restaurants, bars, and places of interest in easy walking distance from the property. I would highly recommend Rosalind House, and if I ever come back to Carlisle, We would definitely stay here again.

We liked the friendly reception we had from Julie on arrival. The room was very comfortable and very clean. There was fresh milk in the fridge in our room for tea and coffee . Breakfast was brilliant with a selection of fruit, cereals, toast and freshly cooked bacon, eggs pancakes and even freshly baked cheese and bacon scones! The location was good too with several restaurants nearby and it was only a short walk to the town centre and tourist attractions. We would certainly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast venue. Julie is the best host! The B&B is situated in the town centre. Everything is within a walking distance of max 10 minutes. The breakfast is heaven as well! There are fresh scones and pastries every morning and a selection of warm breakfast as well. I would totally recommend this place to everyone for their stay in Carlisle.

Excellent location no more than 10 mins from the station, but road was still quiet even on the street side with plenty of great places to eat just on your doorstep! Room was spotless, with anything you could need for a stay! Host was lovely and gave us a load of recommendations for things to see and do in the city. Breakfast was made fresh to order. Would happily recommend and visit again!

Only thing I could think of is that the breakfast room is a bit small, so there could be a small clash if everyone gets up at the same time, though this is handled during check-in.

Beautiful period home close to rail, restaurants, and shops. Our Tethera suite was inviting and very comfortable. Host Julie Downie is wonderful! Breakfasts and homebaked treats we're prepared and presented lovely. Highly recommend a stay at Rosiland House.

Not one issue or dislike, we truly enjoyed our accommodations and host.

Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was a fridge in the room and tea/coffee making facilities with homemade cookies. The little guest information book gave details about the pictures and paintings in the room and why the rooms were given their names. Julie was a fabulous host. My husband and I were running a half marathon the next day. She provided an early breakfast and allowed us a late check out, so we could go back to our room to shower before travelling home. A lovely touch was that we came downstairs and a little pot with safely pins was left on the table with a note saying to help ourselves if we’d forgotten our own…..to pin our race numbers on. Oh and the cheese and bacon scones…..absolutely delicious!

Brilliant location right near the centre of Carlisle, hosts were friendly, room was perfect, lots of space comfortable bed and including homemade biscuits! The piece de resistance is the Breakfast good selection of hot food, married with a myriad of homecooked cakes, scones and bread. Could quite easily run a café let alone a B&B!

If they complete the private parking which they are working on it would make it the perfect place, currently have to contend with on-street parking nearby with the ever prowling parking attendants.

Breakfast was excellent with a very good variety. The host and family were very friendly and engaged in conversation, without being intrusive. It was good to see that even in this age of high costs and shortages that Julie managed to maintain the high standards that we had received on our previuos visit. Julies's home made preserves desrve a special mention.

Julie was an exceptional host. She let us leave our luggage 4 hours prior to check in time and provided us with a parking permit. The rooms were extremely comfortable, super shower and all the conveniences we needed. Best breakfast ever!! Would recommend to anyone. Good location for town centre, castle and museum also good choice of restaurants within walking distance.
