Mona and Jayne keep a lovely place they work hard to keep everyone happy, young and old are happy at walls' I enjoyed everything Mona makes you feel like you are visiting her and you really feel like a guest witch is unusual in a place that big. The location is fantastic with the Co op only over the road and the takeaways close by. You'll love it there well worth a visit.

There's a bar in the premises with is hard to resist and can eat into your pockets. There's no cooking or laundry facilities in the place a little kitchen out the back that guests could use would be a real plus and. A laundry facility. If Mona laid on some kind of laundry and kitchen she could become direct compition for the holiday apartments next door. People don't want to eat takeaway every night. You can't beat home cooking. Or maybe if Mona did a late supper service at 7pm - 9pm that could work as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at The Derg Arms. Warm, friendly staff who looked after us so well. We had a lovely meal in the lounge on arrival and a few drinks in front of the cosy open fire while chatting with the owner Mrs Walls and her daughter Olga. At the end of a relaxing evening we retired to enjoy a good night’s sleep in the very comfortable bed (scrupulously clean en-suite facilities). Delicious breakfast the following morning set us up for the day. A highly enjoyable stay. Thank you. We would definitely visit in the future.

Nothing to dislike.

Second time I have stayed here. Very busy on arrival due to a darts competition but I received a warm welcome from Olga. A tiny bit noisy as it was a Saturday night and a singer was performing in the lounge but otherwise a good experience. The breakfast was exceptional. Best fry I have eaten in a long while. I will return.

The pictures on the site showed a great food selection, my main reason for selecting it. When I arrived I was told that the kitchen was closed as there was no point it being open. I was told that the bar would be open that evening. I had to travel 30 minutes out for food, and back again, to arrive and find that the bar was closed and shut for the night.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were great, really welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were enough to set me up for the whole day. Will definitely visit again.

Brilliant family run business. Lovely rooms, super clean. Had a meal in the evening. Great selection, great portions, cooked to perfection. Tbh 10/10 or 4stars out of 4 doesn't do it justice. Staff were wonderful. P.S. Would make you think why we go to these big corporate multinational hotels in the cities.

Notjing at all

A lovely little B&B located in the small town of Castlederg in Northern Ireland. I only stayed here for a single night as I was working in the area but I will be back for sure. The B&B has a nice bar area with a lovely log fire and great breakfast, what more do you need?

Only thing that could be improved for business travellers like myself is the wifi in the rooms, which was very poor, other than that, nothing !

The accomodating staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were extremely helpful. The off-street parking was excellent and the food in the restaurant was exceptional.

Central location was perfect but traffic noise and late night revellers in the street was a slight issue but was outside the properties control.

5 star service from Jane, couldn't say enough good things about this place, amazing dinner and delicious breakfast, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed, also thanks to Alice for excellent service, will be recommending this place to family and friends, and hope to come back ourselves for another visit very soon. 10/10
