Located right opposite the Cheltenham Spa train station. I was in a single room to myself so was nice and private albeit small. Staff member let me check in early as the room as ready and offered to help take my bags up.

The place is a little run down in general eg. the shower head holder had snapped so you had to hold the shower head when you showered. Not too big a deal. The first two days I was there, the bathrooms and toilets weren’t cleaned at all and there wasn’t any hand soap in the toilets. There’s nowhere to store luggage till 11am when the pub opens. Just make sure you arrive after that time if you have a lot of luggage like I did as luggage storage is on the other side of town.

Nice standard pub hotel. Convenient and cheaper than warranted in my opinion. Not a luxury stay by any means. Couldn't hear pub noises at all. And there was a private entrance / exit that didn't involve going in pub.the almost comically tiny Tv did not work. There was a DVD player built in, had we known we may have brought one. But we didn't care much for the sake of a night. No parking, but again didn't really struggle to find somewhere

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is perfectly placed next to train station with tesco and two decent cafe’s across the road. Put simply - you get what you pay for. We were on a stag do and so it was absolutely perfect for us. The communal corridors and staircases were like what you’d expect to find in a crack den but the rooms were fine and towels were provided. Some people will think it’s rough as guts but we loved it.

No bins anywhere so the cleaner has got her work cut out.

The simple fact we could get back into our rooms at the end of the night and weren't 'disturbed' by an undesirable. The fact we didn't contract hepatitis B. The fact we could watch each other shower in the room.

Blood on bed sheets. The fact the toilet seemed to be crying. The fact the shared shower wasn't properly cleaned after the delivery of the last baby.

Zina, the manager was excellent. I love the relaxed and calm atmosphere the most. Extremely good value for money. It was also fun and lively in the pub downstairs. The cleaners and other staff were very accommodating. No problem too great for them. Excellent parking facilities. Would stay again and recommend.

Clean, dry, lock on door, and good value. On site free parking. All well and good, friendly, pleasant pub downstairs. Very convenient if your on the train as it's directly opposite station. Don't understand the poor reviews; this is a value place to stay, the £120 a night places with crystal chandeliers are in the town centre if you want that kind of thing. Approx 25 mins walk into main town centre.

I stayed in Room Number 12. The room was clean and quiet. Although it was very small, it was satisfactory considering the low price. Facility of hot, cold and mix water in bathroom.

The room was on the 2nd floor and the stairs are round and high with less space. I had to carry my heavy luggage alone to the second floor.

Located very central to shops and not far from main town, right next to train station

Very basic but you get what you pay for nothing to dislike just don’t expect the ritz No blinds in the bathroom window so anyone could see in while taking a shower or toilet

The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The Midland is very relaxing, cheerful, fun, gregarious and no fuss. I liked the fact there was a bible in my bedside cabinet. Bed was extremely comfortable. There was a fan in the room.
