131 is absolutely incredible - stunning building, huge comfy beds, spotlessly clean.

Tiny gripe (sorry!) the gin & juice bar is confusing. When we arrived we were the only people in the bar, we picked drinks off the menu which was on our table and went to the bar to order. We were told we couldn’t order these drinks from that bar and had to reorder at the other bar located in the same room. I believe you can only order certain cocktails, from certain bars but no where explains this & it was just a bit of a faff! It felt like we were being annoying / inconveniencing the staff. I have to say all the staff in the restaurant are amazing, but in the bar area it felt like we were being a nuisance. Sorry - every other part of the stay was 10/10!

I booked this hotelfor celebrating my husband's birthday. I also booked the Terrace restaurant seperately. It was an amazing experience. The hotel is at the best location for Cheltenham. Very elegant amd comfortable. Parking was easy as the staff kindly sent instructions beforehand. The room was very beautiful. The staff is amazing. They kindly left very delicious macarons in our room as a gift for my husband together with a little card. How thoughtful of them!!! The food and the service in the restaurant were also great! It will remain in our memories as an unforgettable experience. We will for sure return back. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!

Location, bars and restaurants were perfect. Loved the view from our room. The beautifully soft and large white bathrobes and towels were much appreciated. Atmosphere buzzy and super friendly. All members of staff with whom we engaged were polite, approachable, efficient and professional. Breakfast was delicious.

Minimal wardrobe and drawer space with no provision for longer items of clothing. Lamps on the bedside table were too large - took up so much space very little room for anything else. The weather was very warm - an air conditioning unit was set up in the room. It was quite a size and as the room was not large it was very noticeable and very noisy. We had to keep it on throughout the night so did not get much sleep. No mini fridge in the room which was disappointing. We really needed cold drinking water. At a cost of £300 per night breakfast should be included.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are stunning. So many areas downstairs to have a drink and enjoy good music. If you want to sit outside or prefer a more speak easy vibe in the downstairs lounge you have plenty of options! The restaurant is also beautiful and the food was great. The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Cheltenham which is a beautiful town. Loved the entire experience and will definitely be back!

No complaints at all! But if I had to make one suggestion it would be to have a gate so that customers can walk out of kings house without needing to walk through the restaurant with their luggage

Great room size and facilities. Clean and contemporary decor. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed, dark and quiet room all aided a good night’s sleep. Tents out the front of the hotel provide extra space and is where breakfast is served. These were introduced to conform with Covid restrictions. This seems a little unfair on other hotels in the area who are unable to provide the same.

Our £175 midweek room was in the basement so lacked privacy and light. We kept the curtains closed so the room was dark without lights on. Breakfast was an extra £32 for two for yoghurt compote and a breakfast bap. Had to walk through the restaurant to get to and from our room. This included carrying our bags from the car which was parked at an extra £10 charge.

Beautiful boutique hotel with fabulous decor. The Tokyo Bar and Gin & Juice Garden Bar were brilliant. Lots of lovely little luxury touches in the rooms. The staff were faultless! It's a great hotel in a fantastic location.

The beds are incredibly comfortable, but sadly, a restful night sleep was not to be had. We stayed on a Saturday night when the terrace bar was open until 2am (I think it shuts earlier on the other nights). It was incredibly noisy! Unfortunately, the disturbance didn't end there... hoovering and cleaning up of the terrace area woke us up at around 6am on the Sunday morning. A great hotel if you like to party until the wee hours, perhaps not so great if you want some rest and relaxation.

Stayed here before and fell in love with the place so came back with family as it was our Daughter’s Birthday instead of going to London, the hotel staff are so friendly and super professional, nothing is to much, the rooms are beautiful, beds and pillows are super comfy and the bathrooms are so well equipped,Dyson Airwraps are a standard here and the Mini Bar is well stocked. The Terrace Bar and Gin and Juice Bar get very busy at weekends but we love the atmosphere,Cocktails are definitely worth the money as one thing they do not do is skimp on the alcohol. We will be back but mustn’t forget to give a huge thankyou to Filipe(apologies if that’s not the correct spelling)who really made our stay!

Dinner in the Terrace Restaurant was not a success unfortunately.Breakfast was nice enough, nothing exceptional but £4 for an extra Sausage or bit of Bacon is abit extreme even if it is locally sourced or Organic.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times over the past 1-2 years for weekends break with my wife. We booked an excellent room and on this occasion the hotel had allocated us the room we had requested at booking. The room was suburb, clean with an amazing shower and bath area. We ate at the Japanese Yoku restaurant and had breakfast in the Terrace restaurant. Both were excellent with a very attentive service. The hotel is in great location and the atmosphere there is always lively and buzzing in the evenings. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to go back there in the future

The property is stunning, we stayed in the family room as 4 adults and they truly have thought of everything. The decor is lovely, equipped with everything you need even down to a dyson hair dryer. The room was spotlessly clean and great to have air con being on the top floor on a warm day. We also had breakfast in the morning which was lovely

Our stay was perfect but if I really had to it would be that the road is quite noisy but is to be expected giving the location and would be nice to have a vanity area to get ready rather than just free standing mirrors

From start to finish, we loved our visit. Receptionists were positive, and welcoming, and helped us sort out parking behind the hotel. Our room was large and stylish, with nice finishing touches, incl. an extra large, very comfy bed, thick drapes, a minibar, double showers and sinks, and great views of the park. We stayed for 2 nights. All food was of a high standard, the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. We ate dinner and breakfast in the Terrace restaurant on the roadside, in a marquee with heaters, and had drinks in the Gin & Juice bar both of which were fun with good atmospheres, there were pretty twinkly lights in the restaurant, and candles in the bar, which was dark on entrance but your eyesight soon adjusts - a great snug bar. We left feeling elated, and plan to return.
