We returned once more to the queens a hotel, which is so very special to us as we had our engagement there last year, and we just love returning . We can relax when we are there because we know we are going to be so looked after, and it's just 100% quality service and high standard every time! We never want to leave . The duty manager Jack, who has looked after us many times now, was just amazing ..it was so so good to see him again and also colleagues of his for which we have come to get to know . Jack, thank you for the most amazing welcome 🙏 Our room was lush, the drinks in the hotel bar were lush , so cosy and warm in there ! And the breakfast WOW we just love the breakfast it's just perfect 👌 See you all very soon xxxx Dean and Laura

There is nothing to dislike at all...the queens hotel and all staff are quite simply just the best . Don't hesitate. Just get to the queens and experience it for yourselves ...you will love it !

Beautiful building right in the heart of cheltenham, the Promenade was just 100 metres away with a whole street of amazing shops. As it was Christmas all the trees were lit up at night and it looked beautiful. Plus there was a pop up ice skating rink opposite the hotel, was very Christmassy. We were upgraded to a street view room as it was a Sunday and the hotel wasn’t full, which was very nice of them. The staff were very nice, and the lounge bar was nice too. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that but the breakfast did look very appetizing! I would definitely stay there again. The shower was very nice and there were lots of toiletries for our use, and the bed was nice and big and comfortable.

The decor inside the hotel could do with a make over and bringing up to date, but it didn’t detract from our stay.

Staff were very helpful and polite. The restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and dinner.

The £15 car parking charge was excessive and disappointing.

We went for my husbands belated birthday and a family gathering. The staff could not have been more welcoming /helpful. We were given a complementary drink and found macaroons on our pillow. The room was lovely (large) we booked an executive room. Spotless bed very comfortable (huge). The food in the restaurant was lovely and well presented. Staff in the restaurant and bar were very helpful. The breakfast was on the expensive side, however there was plenty of choice cooked and continental food and i feel you get what you pay for. We had a lovely stay and will return soon.

I cant think of anything. Suppose parking first come first serve basis. 70 spaces but soon filled up with large parties on Saturday and the locals also use the car park. But absolutely nothing else

This was our second stay in this glorious hotel. We liked the location of the hotel and it’s proximity to all the attractions that Cheltenham has to offer. Parks, shops and restaurants are all very close at hand. The hotel has its own car park which, whilst very welcome and saves dragging suitcases for miles, is expensive at £15 per night. The hotel is a lovely, elegant old building. Check in was very efficient. Our room was on the second floor and we were grateful for the lift. It was very spacious, well maintained, decorated and appointed with a large comfy king size bed, fridge and quiet air conditioning. The bathroom was of a good size with a lovely big shower. The shower was easy to use with controls at the opposite side of the shower heads which is such a good idea. Breakfasts were excellent and service impeccable. We will definitely come here again.

Nothing other than the bathroom having a bit of a drain odour.

It's a comfortable hotel well located in Cheltenham. I expected and received a certain level of service. The room was well stocked with water, coffee, tea and fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and attentive service.

The room was a bit too warm at night, the ac control didn't seem to work and I couldn't open the window. The floor creaked a lot. I wouldn't have wanted to be in the room below me! I would have like some information about the hotel (dining room hours, room service menu) in the room. It's a long-established hotel but the room could have been anywhere.

This is a fantastic hotel. The hotel itself is perfect for the Christmas feel, it's quite lovely, with its original features and the ambience of the place is wonderful. The room was quite large and very well thought out and the bathroom had a decent shower and a seperate roll top bath. Also the staff were very welcoming and added that extra touch. And of course its location in the center of the town overlooking one of the parks is spot on.

We only stayed one night, we could easily have stayed a few more.

The location was excellent and breakfast delicious. I was placed in a superior room which had frosted glass in the window and bathroom. It was very disappointing. After explaining to the staff Alex moved me to a lovely room with a big window to look out. This was most appreciated.the rooms are spotlessly clean and have tea and coffee facilities.the dining room in the evening had very nice food.

The fact that you can book a superior room but can’t see out. I think this needs to be stated when you are looking at booking

After a longer than normal journey, thank goodness for the car park. (Quite rare in town centre). Laura on Reception was very pleasant and welcoming. Informed us what we needed to know and we were on our way. Our room was lovely and warm which was very welcome. We overlooked the car park. Please don't let it be noisy. Although the hotel was extremely busy all weekend, being on the third floor, we had the best two nights sleep anywhere! What noise? Bags unpacked, the only question was, where do we hang coats? Wardrobe had plenty of hangers but was quite small. You wouldn't want to hang wet jackets with a nice suit/party outfit. Bathrobes included but were starched so hard, definitely didn't want to use but thank you for the thought. Shower and bath were amazing. Toiletries beautiful (maybe Santa will bring me some from website). Breakfast staff were all very polite and chatty. Cooked food was so quick and delicious. Check out simple but note to self, don't forget to ask for car park token to exit the barrier! Booked to stay again next year. Well done all. Lovely weekend away. Thank you.

The only minor detail was that there were no coat hooks. Apart from that, everything else was fantastic. Sorry.
