The staff at the reception were very accommodating and friendly . Penny at the reception was really helpful. She helped us change our our room from twin, which was very dark and small, to a double the next day very smoothly. Penny was also very attentive and responsible. We booked through the hotel a taxi to the railway station on the day we checked out.. When the taxi didn't show up, Penny called up the taxi company a few times for us to make sure we got another taxi to the station.

Room was smaller than advertised, and was a bit dark as there was only one light. Air conditioner was not cool enough .

A stylish hotel with a really nice bar area/breakfast room and pool table and fireplace. Great place to hang out. Location was perfect, next to a brewery/restaurant/shops/cinema complex. Parking discounted at the parking garage across the street. Helpful staff always available. Breakfast was varied and tasty with a lovely outdoor area to enjoy our meal. Great cleaners too.

Our room was tiny once the sofa was pulled out for our kids. The pool and gym are in another building across the street and family swim is only 3 hours in the afternoon when we were out touring.

central location with very easy access to food court and main shopping centre. fantastic selection of quality shopping!

some guests were complaining about the noise levels but my view is that if you book a weekend in a centrally located hotel then some noise from wedding parties or revellers on the street is expected… what is not acceptable is the staff banging the doors in corridors at 6.30am and shouting to each other ) this was all house keeping staff, who also on one occasion opened the room door without waiting for permission or giving time to know if it was empty… the only let down was housekeeping staff)!

Perfect location in the Centre of Cheltenham right next to the Brewery Quarter which has plenty of restaurants to choose from. NCP car park right next door, although not cheap, parking right In the town centre is convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful, when we arrived we had no kettle in our room and one of the bulbs had gone in the light, we told reception, and by the time we returned from parking the car the maintenance chap was in the room sorting it out. Had been worried about breakfast from reading some of the reviews, however we had no problems despite staying on the first weekend of half term. Saturday we went to breakfast at 9.30, plenty of tables, plenty of food, not chaotic in the least, Sunday was about 9am, a little busier but still plenty of choice, Monday, the place was virtually empty. No complaints there at all! A good selection for the price.

Nothing really, a very small point when a hotel advertises toiletries in the room I'd expect shampoo and conditioner, not just shampoo, however a two minute walk to the shops and I bought my own like I say, I'm just bring picky and not really an issue, just an observation! For info (and not the hotels problem) there is also no electric car charging point in the car park, however there is one in Lidl next door, although this was always full. There is an instavolt rapid charger in the fuel station just less than two miles away, so charged the car here quickly while grabbing a coffee before our return journey)

The staff were really nice, really helpful. I slept really well in my nice spacious bed. A good stay.

The pool isn't situated in the hotel, you have to go to the Brewery across the road. Still nice but you have to lug everything over the road. The breakfast area was an absolute mess by the time we got there at 9:00 and a lot of stuff had run out. We had to sit in the bar because there were no tables clean and covered in dirty plates. Breakfast was tasty though..No coffee because all the machines weren't working. Oh well hey.

Breakfast time, if you little late, they run out of things. When we were there around 9.30am for breakfast, they ran out of orange juice and wholemilk. My son wanted to have milk and cereal but no milk available. Only oat milk or semi skim as an option. So if you want to have full access to breakfast you have to be there between 7.30am to 9am. Otherwise no guarantee to get everything. Room heating was not working,. Staff arranged portable heater and given 3 free drink vouchers. Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable for kids. Springs were badly hurting on body. After asking staff about this, they arranged extra duvet to put on. Staff were very helpful.

Lovely immaculate, tidy bedroom with plenty of room and very comfortable bed. Bathroom also very clean and sufficient room to move around. Plenty of choice for breakfast, with lovely looking ripe fruit and all hot food appeared to be freshly made. Breakfast choices were well set out to enable guests to easily visualise what was available.

Not an advocate of waking up to a fairly strong smell of cigarettes when the hotel is a non-smoking facility. Bedroom windows were closed so can only assume other residents were not complying with the policy :(

Breakfast was lacking vegetarian hot items, very disappointed to have no hashbrowns! Could request vegetarian sausages but then you end up waiting around. Only one coffee machine working so a very long queue. Mini muffins were very dry. Otherwise there was an ok variety and the croissants were good.

I had booked a room for one person but was given a twin room rather than a double so ended up joining the beds together which was OK but the gap in the middle wasn't overly comfortable.

Check in was easy and although we arrived early a room was ready for us. The room was typical Holiday Inn but too warm at night. We had to open the window but being on the front of the hotel the road was noisy. The staff were were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good with a reasonable choice but unfortunately the choice of eggs was limited to scrambled egg and it was tasteless. Holiday Inns provide good value and you know what you are going to get.

Exceptional location. opposite all the main restaurants and bars in Cheltenham centre. lovely, clean hotel, and super helpful staff.

Reservations massively messed up our booking. It would have been something to have a complimentary drink while we waited for them to sort out the mix up with our room, but nope, we had to pay and wait. Then we were sent to a double room, and had to come back down to get keys for the twin we’d booked. Sorted in the end but with barely a ‘sorry’.
