We had a wonderful stay in an idyllic setting. The Manor gardens are beautiful where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings. Ann was a lovely host and provided a tasty breakfast. Our room was overlooking the fields and rose garden and was very comfortable. The location is excellent as it is very close to Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks with a 5 minute drive to the nearest park and ride where you can get a bus straight into Chester town centre (journey about 10 mins). Golborne Manor also very close to motorway connections. Would highly recommend The Grosvenor Arms for lunch//dinner which again is roughly 5 min drive away and very reasonable.

Everything was perfect,Clean, tidy and generally magnificent. Breakfast was cooked freshly each morning and was very filling and tasty. Ann the host was both kind and friendly. Her house was absolutely magnificent

There was absolutely nothing to moan or complain about staying at Golborne Manor from the minute we drove down the lovely Driveway to walking inside. We had a lovely view from our bedroom window , looking over beautiful countryside

The full English breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Beautiful countryside location, although within a short distance of the busy A41 no traffic noise, wonderful views. Easy access to the Park and Ride to go into Chester. Gorgeous property with a homely feel. Ann is a wonderful hostess.

Our beds were a little high to climb into.

The location was rural but just a few miles from everything we wanted. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and more than adequate. The host was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with extra little touches, eg magazines and fresh flowers.

Everything was good although the plumbing was a bit erratic

The b & b was really beautiful in a lovely, peaceful location. The room and bathroom were quite big and comfortable. We had a great breakfast whilst we were there.

I always prefer a walk in shower, but that's just a preference as the bathroom was lovely.

the only thing missing was an outdoor area to sit. after exploring Chester in the sun it would have been nice to sit outside to cool down and enjoy the gorgeous gardens.

it was scrupulously clean, extremely well appointed and perfect location.

we could have done with a little more guidance about whether the public areas were available to us.
