I thought I had made a massive mistake booking a hostel. I have disabilities and thought I was Booking a hotel. However I stuck with it. We were firstly given a nightmare room that had no room. After asking we were put into another room and it was absolutely fine. It wasn't an issue, but it was just down to movement and disabilities, etc, etc, etc. Regarding the original room, ten years ago we would have fell into the room and rolled over to the toilet, brilliant. Sadly not today. The dreaded room ten needs to be a single en suite. The communal area was spotless. If there were a lot of Barrel stores around the country, I would search them out before a travel lodge, but maybe not before a Premier Inn. What can one say?

I rang the hostel while we were there and spoke to a guy about the possibility of leaving our car in the hostel parking area. I found him a little patronising, with his response, but hey it wasn't nothing major and we hobbled our way to the car park on leaving. Yes we could have brought the car to load, but as there were cars parked outside all day I didn't think overnight would have been an issue when it was empty.

The building is lovely cotswold stone and is in centre of Cirencester where you can walk everywhere, also Brewery car park right by it. It's very clean and there was a welcoming member of staff on reception who happily answered all my questions. If you just need a bed for the night it's perfect. Great shower too. Can't fault it for what it is.

I did not know it was a Yha as it doesn't say that on booking. Com, although I should have worked it out by the cost as it's very cheap, that said it was spotless etc. I should have asked for a room with an opening window as I get claustrophobia and the room was warm. Probably the best Yha you'll ever get!

It was perfect for my needs, as a bed (and bathroom!) for a night after a wedding. I was able to check in at 1am (given a code and room left unlocked), and leaving at 10am meant I didn't encounter any staff. The room was very clean and good value.

Would have liked a cup of tea but there were no teabags in the kitchen. A couple more hooks would have been useful, and a cover for the toilet. Also would be good to have some privacy screening on the window so you don't need to keep the blind closed.

•Staff are very friendly •Shared kitchen is clean with essentially everything you need (pot/pan/stove/mug/kettle/microwave/fridge/towels/cutlery..) •Bedroom and bathroom were clean (comes with towel and shower gel) •Heater was not on at the end of January, however, the room temperature was fine •No place to store luggage (just behind reception) but the location/place feels safe (the front door to enter the building is code-locked)

•Shower has no curtain •Room/bathroom can be quite cramped •Pillows are high

Had my own clean room and bathroom for a very good price. Kitchen was clean. Location was fantastic, right in the centre of Cirencester and accessible from the station with public transport. Had a comfortable double bed.

Shower is an odd design. Need a glass screen to separate the toilet and sink from the shower because my floor got soaked! Room could do with more hooks and a second bedside table so there's more space to rest things as well.

Amazing location right in the centre of Cirencester - easy to get around and explore, lots of places to visit, shops and cafes a short walking distance away. Reasonably priced for what’s on offer.

Windows were small and don’t open fully therefore the rooms can get a little hot in the summer - particularly as the bathrooms have no ventilation. The rooms are fairly basic but provide everything you need for a short stay.

Smallish single rooms, but clean and comfortable bed and a good ensuite shower Central location but quite difficult to find on Google maps. Maybe I didn't read the website properly but there could have been clearer instructions on how to find it from the high steet ie you need to go through a gap in a building between specific shops... I needed to check with several people - both they and Googlemaps got confused as it's behind a building

Staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful and room was really clean with comfy beds. Great location for exploring Cirencester and car park nearby was pretty reasonable for 3 hrs parking. Lounge was well equipped and clean too. Fantastic value overall 👍🏻

First room we stayed in (room 7) was extremely small, hardly any space around the bed to move about and the bathroom so tiny you had to squeeze around the door to get to the loo. We asked for another room the second night and the staff were very helpful and immediately offered us an alternative (room 14) which was more spacious. A couple of things needed fixing - the sink plug didn’t work and the little fold-up side table was also broken. But overall enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Room was spotless, check in was very smooth and even a little bit early (bonus!), it's right in the centre of Cirencester and only a 25 minute walk from the Royal Agricultural University. The bed was comfy, shower amazing (let's face it, this is the make or break of a stay). There is a Tesco on your doorstep and it's easy to get in and out of the hotel at night using a pin code. Perfect if you are here for business or exploring the area and not spending any time in your room apart from sleeping and showering!

Greeted by an very lovely gentleman who explained everything we needed to know. Room was compact but clean and comfy with a good sized toilet/shower. The property couldnt be in a better location being right by the (pay) car park and in the centre of town. A lovely communal area was available with eating facilities.

At the cost charged I dont think you could improve.
