Everything was great, we arrived very early but were allowed to park and were given a free coffee. The room was ready at the promised time, nice room and easy to get to. The evening meal was superb, very big portions, as was breakfast. But the best part of the stay were the staff , they all were a credit to the hotel. I would recommend this establishment to anyone.
Nothing.

Our second stay at the hotel which is very well located and only a short walk to the town centre. Parking is very good and no problem finding space both evenings. Breakfasts are superb and all the staff are really lovely and helpful. Kind of the management to start breakfasts earlier than usual for those attending RIAT. Our room (which we selected) is small but this is as advertised and per photos and was very clean and has everything needed.
As previously, we were looking to immediately book again for next year but unfortunately, for the days that RIAT is on, prices have been increased by around 35% which has made us look and book elsewhere. It’s a shame because whilst I can understand the opportunistic commercial reasoning, it doesn’t justify that price and ignores customer loyalty.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We ate at the bar one evening and the food was lovely. Breakfast had a great choice and there was plenty of it, all freshly cooked and prepared and delicious! Our room was very comfortable, clean and lots of extras included like tea, coffee and water. Our room was up some steep stairs, but staff went out of their way to help with luggage. A great place to stay, well located for the centre of Cirencester.
Our bed could have been a bit wider, it was a very small double, but we were still comfortable.

Lovely little hotel just a short walk from town. The most amazing helpful and friendly staff , couldn’t be faulted what’s so ever. We had issues with our car which had been taken into the garage , meaning we had all of our stuff on us , luckily the staff were kind enough to take our luggage earlier then check in so we didn’t have to lug it all about all day, when we arrived to check in they had very kindly taken all our luggage to our room , which was so lovely. Very dog friendly & our little pooch enjoyed her stay. Lovely Sunday roast and breakfast was really really good value for money overall. Our little room was clean and exactly what we needed for one night stay. We would 1000% come back.

Breakfast was excellent. Dinner, good choice, well presented. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We had a ground floor room as I'm not too good with stairs. The staff were very kind and helpful.
We only stayed one night to break our journey as we were travelling up from the South coast back to Cheshire, however if we were planning a longer visit we would have needed a wardrobe or somewhere to hang our clothes in the room. Unfortunately this ground floor room did not have such a facility. A few more hooks at least would have been appreciated. Otherwise everything was fine, nice spacious en suite. Would recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is really nice. It has a lot of history with nice restaurant and clean and comfy rooms. The stuff is very friendly, polite and always helpful. The staff made our stay a very pleasant experience. The food at the restaurant was great.
The only thing I didn’t like is the shower in the bathroom where the water didn’t have any pressure. The hot water was heated by an instant electrical device which was making a lot of noise when on. probably we had that just in our room as we were staying at the very tip floor.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was lovely , the staff very welcoming and helpful, our room was nice and clean breakfast was lovely and we like the location close to cirencester Town, would definitely go back
Only thing I can say as we have a dog and we are thankful the hotel allows dogs but for breakfast we were not allowed in the restaurant so we had to sit in the bar area being the only ones with a dog we did feel a bit left out there was people leaving the hotel waiting at reception with bags around us bit uncomfortable. Having said that the staff didn't forget us and we had a lovely breakfast

A really cosy hotel with a lovely bar and restaurant area. A great atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was freshly cooked to order with plenty of different choices. It also it’s own car park with plenty of spaces. A very short walk into the town that has a good selection of shops and restaurants.
The only downside to our stay was the two of flights stairs leading up to our room, but being an old building this was expected, and we managed ok, but for someone with any difficulties may have caused a problem.

The room was very accessible, clean and had good drawer space. The breakfast was lovely and the Sunday roast we had was very tasty. Service and welcome were excellent. The bar was cosy and a lovely place to relax with a drink after dinner. The car park was very convenient and the location for walking into town was excellent. Cirencester is a lovely town with many interesting sites to see, shops to visit and eating/drinking venues.
Although the bathroom was very adequate the shower cubicle was quite tight. The wardrobe was also a bit small.

Location - a few mins walk from the town centre, so close enough but not too busy. Breakfast excellent each morning (4) and we tried various different choices! Staff were always friendly and helpful. We loved the beer garden and in fact invited numerous family and friends over (it became a central hub/meeting point for us! - we were all in the area to attend a wedding) who also ate meals there, which were good. The hotel having it's own car park was a massive plus in the area.
Only 1 complaint was the poor water pressure in the shower but we realise that's no the hotel's fault!
