Everything….nothing NOT to like!! Welcoming hosts, clean, comfortable rooms, freshly cooked breakfast, tranquil location…..perfect for my needs.

I was travelling with friends in their hire car, so transport wasn’t an issue. If you choose to stay here, (and I highly recommend you do!) you will need a car because of its location, also as there are no eateries in this village, you will need to drive if you choose to dine out in the evening. NOT a complaint, simply sharing my thoughts.

Loved the setting. The location was brilliant... just on the edge of everything you want to see in the cotswolds. Bridget & Neil are such a lovely couple. We enjoyed chatting with them each morning & they gave us great ideas of where to go. The breakfast was soo good. We had scrambled eggs & salmon each morning. The cottage itself is lovely & very comfortable in a gorgeous setting.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

I had the most wonderful stay at Well Cottage, nothing was too much trouble for the hosts who were so welcoming and kind. My room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and doors that opened on to their garden with farmland beyond. Breakfast was delicious: ample portion sizes and great local produce! I will certainly be returning next time I’m in the area, thank you so much!

Nothing to fault.

Kemble is a beautiful village, serene and peaceful. The cottage was very well maintained, had great customer service, amazing breakfast and a very friendly & accomodating host. There's even card payment facility as well as cash, which was very helpful. There was even a hairdryer and a kettle kept in the room for use. It was very refreshing to see a tray of assortment of coffee and tea items waiting for you in the room.

There isn't any Uber or taxi service in the village, Ewen or Kemble available for quick booking. One will have to book taxis from Cirencester, pre-booked at least a day before which would be charged from Cirencester. No public transport either. However, if it's peaceful escape into a calm and quite countryside you're looking for, then this is the best place.

What an absolute gem. Neil and Bridgette are the perfect hosts and made us so welcome to their charming and picturesque home. Every effort to make sure guests are welcome and every need catered for: spacious bedroom. comfortable bed, fantastic breakfast (such choice and delicious coffee) in beautifully furnished room overlooking the garden and little touches such as herbal tea bags on tea tray in bedroom and recommendations for eating out that made Well Cottage exceptional. Also so convenient for visiting places such as Cirencester and Tetbury. Arrived as guests and left as friends - what more is there to be said other than "See you next year" - Non and Bryan

The accommodation was excellent, as was the welcome we received, on arrival' The breakfast choices were really good and the quality was excellent. The property was very clean and the quality of the fittings, fixtures and fittings were all excellent. We will definitely be returning, very probably, later this year.

There was nothing not to like

To find this haven,enter the village of Ewen from Kemble,turn right at the small triangle of daffodils in the road & the property is 2nd on the left. We loved our stay here for 3 nights. Bridget & Neil are wonderful owners & are so helpful. The room is wheelchair friendly,warm & had everything one needed. The bed is very comfortable. A freshly cooked breakfast is cooked to your personal taste every day. A big thankyou for all your care.

Nothing to dislike. Maybe leaving!

Excellent Location Great communication and easy Parking, Room was just as required with key to come and go as pleased Great friendly couple Breakfast was excellent and cooked to your liking with good fresh local produce Nothing was too much trouble, Highly recommended

Lovely 2 night stay at Well Cottage. Room was comfortable, nice touches and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was great too and loved chatting to Neil & Bridget and our fellow guests. Great location for exploring Cirencester and not too far from Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

The breakfast was excellent, with a good choice each morning. Our bedroom was nice and quiet. We slept comfortably each night. The owners were lovely chatty people, who took an interest in us. They made us very welcome and nothing was too much.

We do not think there was anything that could be improved on. We enjoyed our stay too much!
