Beautiful inn, lovely comfortable seating with considerate spacing between tables, all kept in line with originality of the inn. Food is absolutely superb, everything cooked perfectly and delicious. Extensive wine list and everything so reasonably priced. Staff are warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was also beautiful, clean and very comfortable, added bonus of a small kitchenette area with a wine cooler fridge and a microwave, beautiful views of the lovely garden area. Complete peace and quiet at night, an absolute treat. We will definitely be back 🙂

Nothing ! It was perfect

Beautiful location, very convenient for where we were visiting. We weren’t able to book a table for an evening meal due to not knowing our return time, but Simon made it his mission to accommodate us when we did turned up, even though they were fully booked. We have booked to go back next year.

Nothing really, just finding our way around inside the pub to the guest rooms was a bit confusing, but not a huge problem.

Quintessential Cotwolds, homely, tasteful decour, good selection of bar drinks and genuinely friendly staff. We stayed in the Sapperton room and it was everything we'd hoped it would be. The full English breakfast composed of many, quality ingredients, that will last you until lunch, and again the morning staff were lovely. We had a one night stay to relax and get away from the job/kids and I can honestly say it was just the ticket.

There's nothing here I would write, as I would only be trying to find something to fill the box.

Besides being a perfect little Inn it was truly an experience! Cannot say enough about the staff we got to know, Nick, Andrea, Richard, Sienna, Bianca, Ella and all the back of the house staff that we didn’t meet but made sure that everything went smoothly! The food was amazing and breakfast was beyond anyone could have wanted! Will treasure our stay forever in the Cotswold! Do not hesitate to book here! You will thank me while having a beverage by the fireplace in their ever so cute pub!!

The breakfast was excellent freshly cooked and super tasty. I enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning and this was delivered hot and just the way I like it, perfect! The staff at The Bell are excellent, friendly, helpful, nothing too much trouble.

We had to leave early on the day of departure, we did inform the staff giving plenty of notice but unfortunately the chef couldn't provide a hot cooked breakfast as service started at 9:00 am. We were offered and alternative of fruit and yoghurt with toast which was really nice but the hot breakfast was so delicious the day before we were disappointed not to experience it again. Couldn't fault the staff trying to do the best they could for us and Nick did reimburse us for the fact we were not able to have the cooked breakfast which was very much appreciated.

Staff very friendly/helpful. We booked at the very last moment & the kitchen was closed but they still provided the cold option from the starters. The room was lovely, light, spacious & well equipped. Breakfast was delicious & they didn't hurry us out. Will certainly stay there again if in the area.

Bit of a rabbit warren to find your way round initially even though there were signs! Some ground coffee in the room would be nice since there was a cafetiere in the cupboard!

Having read reviews we were keen to see if this place lived up to what had been written. Did it? Yes by far, what a gem. The staff are fabulous, so friendly and welcoming. The food was superb, very tasty and plenty of it with a great choice of menu. The Bell is a beautiful old pub/restaurant with fabulous accommodation. Our room was large, clean, with a super comfy bed, and a lovely shower. We did wonder if it would be noisy but after 10pm, there was total silence. For us the staff do make this place, Nick the manager was lovely and our young lady at breakfast was wonderful, such a rare thing these days that's for sure. The whole place was spotless, the outside pretty, a very lovely welcoming place.

Nothing not to like. If I had to pick, it would just be nice if it was a little nearer somewhere to visit but that's being really picky and would spoil the serenity and peace!

The guest rooms were quiet and you wouldn’t know you were above a popular and busy pub/dining room. Parking on site was great, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was really varied and freshly made to order from the kitchen alongside a continental offering. We had an evening meal one night which was very nice and the property was in a good location for us to drive to the surrounding towns in the Cotswolds. We would return and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. The rooms were clean, tidy and the toiletries smelt lovely! Little touches made the stay ideal for a weekend away from it all.

There really wasn’t much not to like! The only thing for me personally was the bed, it was a great size but the mattress wasn’t overly comfortable. This is a personal view but something a bit firmer would have been better.

Started with the staff, we got a call the afternoon of our stay as we were arriving several hours after the estimate to in quire about our dinner plans. we would be arriving after the kitchen closed, so the owner offered to have a couple of salads made for us. The hotel has the classic British pub-hotel charm, but the room had a nice modern feel to it with a wonderful bathroom. air conditioning would’ve been nice, but the fan did the job. Great staff, selection of beverages and breakfast was fabulous.

Finding the check in desk from the car park was probably the extent of our challenges here. Really, the worst part was our stay was too short. We would stay here again!

An excellent and well fitted bedroom and bathroom really a most enjoyable stay and recommended for anybody passing through the south Cotswolds The facility of having dining so close at hand and to so higher quality is an added benefit it is only a pity that there are so few bedrooms but again that maybe you got advantage I have to say to the management well done a most enjoyable stay

The breakfast was a little sparse but adequate
