stayed night prior to Bristol flight . breakfast was good but would probably suggest instead of £9 per person for full English does include unlimited coffee, continental option etc which is great value but I think full English onsite instead for £4.95 per person minus coffee etc , my opinion that’s all .

nice large room and bathroom. the room is quiet even though there is quit a busy pub. Easy check in and check out process.

unfortunately they start serving breakfast at 8am which was very inconvinient for me, I was on a business trip and had to leave at 7:30am. I got full refound for the breakfast but would have rather been able to get a coffee before leaving. The was a kettle in the room therefore I was able to get a tea but the only plug in the room was near the floor and the kettle had a very short cable..not a big deal but it would have been easier if there was an extension cable

The whole experience was very satisfactory, cleanliness of the room, bed was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Unfortunately during our stay one of their team passed away which was very sad and a huge shock to them all which meant that after breakfast they closed the pub side for the rest of the day as respect , but they assured us that they would be back the next morning to serve us with our breakfast again, which they were. They were real troopers.

We only had a short stay, nothing springs to mind.

Everything worked well. We had room number one, which looked like it had been converted from a disabled room. Everything was fine. The breakfast room was large with plenty of options of where to sit and breakfast was reasonably good. A good place for families. I found the ancient piece of carpet behind reception amusing; don't get rid of it :-D

Nit picking really, but my partner is sensitive to sounds and likes windows open and a constant low level nearby noise affected her sleep, whereas it didn't bother me at all. Cutlery could have been cleaner, but it was fine.

Ample, off-street parking. Spacious room. Attached restaurant with a variety of economical dinner menu options.

Hotel’s breakfast options early on: Items from what reads like a buffet, have to be ordered individually. Between needing to inquire specifically about each option - because fee details are provided, placing the order, and then waiting for food - there’s no hope of getting in and out quickly. And items available a la carte, are marked up considerably for hotel guests, versus what’s listed on the restaurant’s menu (which we saw the evening before while at dinner, but were notably absent from the tables the following morning - having been replaced with the hotel’s menu).

Brilliant location for a wedding in Clevedon Hall. Excellent facilities for what we needed. Decor dated however it was a huge clean room with everything we needed for a trip away with an 11 week old baby. Staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble including finding a fan for our room to keep the baby cool.

The only negative was the decor was a bit tired but that didn’t effect our stay at all!

I was happy with the staff that when out of there way to sort out the mess you made of the booking but we had to have the only room available on the ground floor wich had a temporary freezer outside the window and it was YOUR FAULT not the landlord

The only thing that could have been better is that YOU book the right room for a disabled person what's the point in asking for the hotel for a disabled person if YOU DON'T PASS THAT INFORMATION ONTO THE PLACE I AM BOOKING

This is a great value venue for a family with younger children as they are friendly and welcoming and have on site a large soft play area for the children also a very wide inexpensive menu and are open all day so it is easy to have the flexibility of arrival after a day out knowing that you can have food and entertainment available.

Our rooms were adjoining as I travelled with small children the rooms themselves were perfect apart from that they needed the bathrooms particularly updating and cleaning up etc. It was perfectly fine for a weekend but could have done itself much more justice with a few quid spent on the bathroom.

We were attending a function in Kingston Seymour so very convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent value for money and perfectly cooked. Room was well equipped and clean and comfortable.Comfortable beds and spotless fresh bedding which was great quality.

Decor in places needed a lick of paint and wallpaper damaged by bedside table being moved.Room maintenance ie a drawer handle missing and sink plug not attached. Water appeared cold in shower until I realised there was an immersion heater switch by bathroom light switch. Would have been useful if this had been labelled or pointed out.

Location, size of room adequate for one night stay, also had hairdryer and iron if needed, shower was powerful enough and plenty hot water, most staff pleasant and helpful. Good food.

In general the whole place needs an overall, it is tired and dated, albeit clean and okay. Not a major issue but no power socket by side of bed, needed an extension lead. (For those who need to use medical equipment will know is essential)
