Plenty of car parking space, entrance and car park very clean and tidy. Reception is always attended by friendly and attentive staff. This was our first time to travel with a dog and the dog was spoiled by the staff who ensured that she got a sausage every morning. The fact that it is a privately owned hotel means a lot, the staff seemed to know their regulars and local people visited the premises in the evenings which is always a good sign.

This is in no way meant as a complaint. The rooms and the decor are a bit "tired" but I did notice that two of the rooms have been taken back to the bare walls and are being refurbished to a high standard. We later learnt that the present owners have only bought the hotel from the Premier Inn group a few months ago and intend to refurbish the entire building over time. I would like to wish the owners every success in their new venture and it would be an added bonus if they are supported by the travelling public and locals alike.

Just on the edge of Coleraine town within a retail park this ex- premier inn has recently went through a bit of a refurb and it looks on the whole good inside. There was a warm welcome greeting us at reception for our check in and a smooth exchange of registration numbers and a room key completed the task. The rooms are clean and well sorted for storage areas for any luggage we had with us (travelling of motorbikes the shelves and hanger came in really handy for helmets and kit etc. Also plenty of electrical sockets within the room along with a USB charging point. Breakfast was excellent, good quality well presented on a piping hot plate (my last number of stays within various hotels seemed to be always served on cold plates). All food was served in the attached sandpiper restaurant and again like all the hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. The location suited our needs as arriving in the evening and needing to travel onwards to an event the next morning but I should point out that the location is on the outer part of town and not within easy walking distance into the town centre. For somewhere to eat there are a number of eateries within the retail park all within easy walking distance (The sandpiper is directly attached to the room accommodation offering tasty food at good value prices) and all seemed to be doing a fairly good trade.

I would have to be fairly picky to find anything I didn't like, the beds whilst clean and comfortable are a double bed size (most places seem to be going for king size) and just maybe found it a bit cramped during the middle of the night (personal thing many will be find). There didn't appear to be any form of heating control within the room again didn't prove to be much if any of an issue during my stay but again in the middle of winter or a blazing warm summers day (remember those things} this may prove to be an issue for some.

Location, access to restaurants and shops was fantastic. Only here for one night so it was perfect for meeting our requirements.

Staff training may be needed here. We feel there was an error made during our check in on additional funds taken for breakfast but not clear how this happened. We were reassured it would be fixed by a manager on our departure. Also, breakfast order was not as requested...received veggie sausages instead of bacon and missed off a few items from another breakfast order.

Friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help especially as John has mobility issues and so helpful which keeps us coming back time and again

The access ramp way to the front of the hotel is broken up in areas, making it very unstable and concerning for walking on, especially when one person has mobility issues and trying to propel a rollator or wheelchair is near impossible without assistance of 1-2 people.

The hotel is amazing very clean and modern the staff are so friendly and helpful the room was clean and fresh all the facilities you could need including freeview TV kettle tea and coffee which if you need more tea bags milk eg you help yourself to more in the reception area the breakfast in the restaurant was so nice really fresh quality ingredients and tasted yummy and a great selection to chose from too we also had dinner which was great too

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the rooms were quiet at night there was like a noise cancelling window in the bedroom that made it so calm and quiet. The ned was so comfortable the food was beautiful. I had moved from staying at another hotel the rest of the week and really regret not staying there the whole week or really ended our holiday in style we will be back for sure 5stars

when phoning reservations the phone was always busy, phoned over 30 times and still never got an answer really !!! had to go through Accor main website who could get through every time ??? When at the act hotel reservations desk not that busy really annoyed at lack of ability to contact hotel direct.

From the moment we entered the building we were greated with a big friendly irish smile , I can only say that all staff members are a credit to your company,

Sadly we tried the breakfast on our first day, It was below standard from other hotels we stayed at in Northern Ireland, But the evening meals and the service we received where 1st class ,

The hotel is looking freshly refurbished, all clean. Power shower with plenty of hit water. Comfortable bed. Tea/coffee facilities in the room. Friendly staff both on reception and in the restaurant. Dinner and breakfast were of a good quality. Value for money. Giant Causeway only 20 minutes drive from it. All in all recommend for a short stay.

clean, good facilities, ideal location for me. top marks for staff. all friendly and professional. close to town centre also many restaurants, fast food outlets, cinema, retail park and huge indoor entertainment place for families with dog play area, ten pin bowling, etc
