Great base for Your Horse Live! The full English breakfast was yummy and the continental breakfast looked lovely too. We had room with 2 Queen sized beds which were soooo comfy. Some East European ladies seemed to be running the hotel, they were very friendly, yet professional.

Some decor & appliances needed TLC/updating in the bedrooms. Eg heater wasn't fixed to wall properly and thermostat was situated directly above the heater so the heating wouldn't stay on longer than 2 minutes, also the thermo had been taped over to stop you moving it! Bath was very slippy and high to climb into for anyone under 6ft! And the TV was very dated. You couldn't even view a guide to the programmes. All that was possible was to channel surf!

The room was a great size and very clean, staff couldn’t do enough for us. very polite and friendly.

The restaurant and bar on site was only open for breakfast and evening meals if booked. travelling as a family it’s nice to have somewhere the kids can pop in and have lunch, a snack or even sit and have a few drinks at night.

The room was clean and spaceous. The bar area was an excellent place to relax. THe layout of the hotel was interesting as the corridors seemed to radiate from a central hub so altough there were quite a few rooms you never had that far to walk to the reception and bar area.

It was very difficult to control the temperature of the bath water, I think our control tap may have been faulty and the water came out scaldingly hot. I could have done with an extra pillow but by the time I came to go to bed it felt too late to ask in reception for one, a couple of spare pillows in the draws would have been great.

Lovely warm staff. Convenient location only a few miles outside of Coventry and easy drive in by car. As it was a quiet time when we booked they upgraded our bedroom to an executive which was very kind. Our bedroom also looked out over a quiet field at the back of the hotel away from the busy dual carriageway at the front so we had a good night’s sleep in a large comfortable bed. The full English breakfast was plus cornflakes and toast and drinks so really set us up for a day of sightseeing around Coventry - which is this year’s city of culture and was so worth a visit I can’t believe we’ve never been before. Another positive was free parking which some hotels charge for. All in all we were very pleased to be sent to Coventry!

Slightly dated building exterior and some decor in internal areas like corridors, but it was very clean so not a problem as far as we were concerned. We also got a bargain through Booking.com so have to make some allowances! Very pleased there were hand wipes and gel at numerous doors throughout. Be careful when pulling off the dual carriageway into the hotel car park, and likewise exiting the car park, because it’s a fast road and sharp turn, but once aware of this it’s easy to navigate with care.

the staff were fantastic, very friendly and ready for my arrival even though I booked last minute. The bed was very comfortable (I have a bad back and it was the best mattress I’ve slept on in a while!). Room was huge and very clean. Convenient location and parking.

Breakfast was a little disappointing and the restaurant was very hot

The breakfast and evening meal were very good the steak was cooked to perfection and really nice. The staff were really friendly and were always ready to help.

The place is desperate for a make over, it could really do with just a lick of paint and some new carpets. The car Park could do with a resurfacing as well.

Nice hotel and a great room for us and our 4 year old grandson. We ate in the bar and the food was good for us. The lady behind the bar who served the food was very helpful and provided everything we needed. Would certainly stay again.

We only stayed here one night as we were attending your horse live at Stoneleigh park it was just a nice distance away from Stoneleigh park and we had a great stay. Also on our arrival home we realised we had left 2 shirts in the wardrobe and they were fantastic at getting them sent back to us we couldn’t thank them enough.

clean, breakfast was good choice. bed comfortable. room had everything needed for our stay. offered a late check out as we were attending a funeral. reception staff very accommodating

Very convenient location and all facilities we needed for a quick stay over.

Breakfast finished at 9am so we nearly missed it but the staff were great about that.
