Ideal location to the NAEC Stoneleigh. Room was comfortable and clean, fridge with fresh water, milk, kettle for tea and coffee. Powerful hot shower, room was lovely and warm all night. Breakfast came with the room or free of booked direct

Nothing about the room I didn’t like, a few things were looking old, paintwork on doors, shower hose and head leaking but nothing to stop you enjoying your stay. Could have done with a hand towel, which I’m sure I would have got if asked. Not the properties fault but when I booked 2 rooms with booking.com I only got free breakfast on one room and had to pay another £20. If I had booked direct I would have got it free.

Location - lovely village and so close to the NAEC Stoneleigh where we attended the Go Diving show. Fantastic breakfast and very good pub meals. Great room - independent entrance, spacious, tea/coffee facities, fresh milk and fridge. We would definitely stay here again!

We felt better attention to maintenance in the room would have helped - loo seat was lose and lid wouldn't stay up, a piece of flooring was missing by bathroom door. The bathroom taps, particularly in the shower, were hard to control regarding temperature and the shower curtain just sucks into the bath space and wraps around you!

The location was ideal for our purpose for travelling. The facilities were excellent. The room was better than I expected, very spacious, well laid out and with a decent TV, fridge, comfortable bed and chair. The bathroom was a decent size for the room and the shower was good quality. The welcome was professional and the offer and provision of actual milk to go into the fridge in the room, rather than UHT milk cartons, made a very good impression as we booked in. The breakfast was of very high standard, as it was cooked to order, it was fresh, hot and plentiful. The bacon was amongst the best I've ever had with a fried breakfast. One of my party is vegetarian and he didn't miss out as a full vegetarian fried breakfast was available. The meal we had on Christmas Eve was excellent value for money and of very high quality. Overall this was an excellent place to stay and we will return next time we're in that area.

Our only gripes are the coldness in the room when we checked in. Although there was heating and an additional heater provided if needed, so that was quickly reminded. As the stay was in December, I would recommend that the heating is turned on briefly to take the chill out of the room. Also, the plug-in air purifier affects my Wife's senses so we had to unplug it and place it in a drawer. These are very minor and to be honest, irrelevant, as they were easily solved and didn't affect our experience.

Excellent location for an overnight stay, as it is only a few minutes' drive from NAEC Stoneleigh. The room was pleasantly furnished. I ordered dinner in the evening and the freshly prepared food arrived in 10 minutes, which was great. The next morning, a full English breakfast was also very tasty.

Care needs to be taken with the hot water for the shower, which was extremely hot. Obviously, mixing in some cold water solved the issue. However, given that the hot water was almost immediately scalding hot within a couple of seconds of turning the tap on, this may need looking into.

Very quiet location, our room was really comfortable and spacious with lovely decorative touches and excellent facilities provided. Loved that we were given a small bottle of fresh milk for the fridge in our room for tea/coffee rather than the usual little pods of UHT milk. The pub did great food for the evenings and a good breakfast and the staff were all really welcoming, friendly and attentive.

Very noisy extractor fan in the bathroom that couldn't be isolated so came on whenever the bathroom light was switched on. This wouldn't be an issue if on your own, but when sharing the room it was quite loud for middle of the night loo trips. No heating or heated towel rack in the bathroom so it was pretty cold, especially the floor. Could possibly provide an extra socket for the kettle; we unplugged the fridge to plug the kettle in and forgot to plug the fridge back in and we were out all day at an exhibition.

The room decor was fabulous and the location of our accommodation 20 m from the pub. The ambiance in the pub and entertainment were lovely. Very friendly staff.

The accommodation was freezing cold as the wall heater wasn’t working. There was a small electric heater but this took a very long time to make the room anywhere warm enough to even strip off and get into bed. Such as shame as the room was so pleasant. The pub kitchen was out of a lot of food on the menu which was also disappointing as the food we had was lovely.

This is a wonderfully peaceful place to stay in very quiet little hamlet. The restaurant/pub at the front is an original building a lovely modernised interior. When we arrived we loved having a drink and a meal out on the sunny decking at the front. The rooms are purposed built at the rear, with car parking available at your door and no steps to manage. My friend and I had a twin room and the beds were purpose built single beds, not a king bed separated. The interior of the room. was wonderfully comfortable and well appointed. We walked to the church at the end of the road and then sat in the small park opposite the accommodation. We weren't able to have breakfast as there had been a family emergency, but if it was anything like dinner it would have been lovely too. Highly recommend for weary travellers.

The owner was pretty rushed on our arrival- everything was ready, but I think we had arrived just before the dinner rush and he might have been understaffed. It didn't cause I problem, I just felt sorry for him!

The pub was very modern and cozy, really nice decor and the food was great. Staff were very friendly. The rooms are next to the pub and you have your own external door so you don't have to come in and out of the pub to get into your room. The room was really nicely decorated with a lovely bathroom attached. Really good sized rooms and the beds were very comfy. It's only a 15 minute drive from the university of Warwick, so would be really handy for parents visiting students who don't want to stay in a city

There wasn't a good place to plug the kettle in, as the two sockets near the surface were occupied by the TV/WiFi and the fridge, so I ended up plugging it in near the bed. Not a problem, just not ideal. The toilet bowl was also cracked but didn't harm the functionality, just the look :) otherwise no other improvements, really nice room, good size and staff were great!
