Stayed the night to split a journey up down south, Good location although postcode takes you into the Village. Room was perfect, clean and comfy, decent shower. Had a couple of drinks and a meal in the connected pub, Good quality food and a decent pint food around £15 mark. Room was quiet and there was a vending full of drinks and snacks in the door. Had Breakfast in the morning which was good, continental and a full English there were different hot options too.. All in all a very good relaxing stay.

I would highly recommend the breakfast, even the continental breakfast was amazing. I had the cooked breakfast as well and I can recommend the pancakes with bacon. The staff were all so friendly and polite it just made everything easier. The hotel was a lovely traditional hotel, none of the "branded" all the rooms are the same, just a good old fashioned hotel. I will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Coventry.

2 slight glitches having booked online and received confirmation of requirements, was told on ringing they’d not received the instruction and on same phone called booked an evening meal on Friday and Saturday verbally confirmed, arrived Friday no problem however on Saturday night no booking could be found

Big family room, comfortable beds, beautiful shower

Was cold in the morning but electric heaters were in the room. The food stopped at restaurant at 8.30pm on a Saturday night. We dropped our bags off in the room and came down for food. 8.15 we went to the restaurant, the waiting staff deliberately ignored us so we ended up having to go to a nearby restaurant with a later food order time.

I messaged two days ahead of our stay to ask fir a family room as our grandchild would more than likely be staying. On arrival we were given a beautifully large family suite - two rooms. Very comfortable The breakfast was very good - several dishes for cooked on offer along side help yourself continental. We had a meal at the restaurant in the evening which was also very good - the dipping gravy was out of this world! Lovely building and helpful staff - would recommend this establishment 👍🏻 We have family in Coventry, so would definitely consider staying again During our stay, we visited Warwickshire Lavender Farm - would highly recommend a visit during the session

No decaf teabags nor coffee on offer as an alternative, but only a very minor issue, & currently wouldn't prevent us from retuning Located off busy roundabout & satnav didn't pick up the entrance so we had a few trips around the roundabout until we found the correct exit off No or very limited public transport links, not easy walking distance from city centre (over an hour) so a car is definitely needed, but again not an issue for us, just something to consider

Love the location, as family are near by ,,staff always helpful and friendly. Breakfast fantastic.

We have stayed a few times now ,,so just want to point out a couple of things ,we we're in room 8 ,the shower curtain needs adjusting as I'm a bigger chap and it's to close to you when in shower,,and also a hook or shef by sink to put toiletries on or hang your washbag close at hand ,,nothing drastic

The location was perfect for me visiting family. Very nice reception staff on arrival . Plenty of parking near the accommodation. Very warm comfortable double room,with a large comfortable bed. Nice size Bath and very good shower above,plenty of hot water. My dog was made very welcome.

Unfortunately my vegetarian breakfast wasn't very good. Sausages were rock hard and overcooked as was the greasy over cooked potatoe fritters. No soya milk and no herbal teas.

We had a problem on arrival as our room had not been prepared. There were no spare rooms and so we waited in the bar/restaurant until it was ready. The manager/reception staff were really excellent and were as surprised as we were when they first saw the room. We don't know why it was not ready for occupation. They immediately offered compensation in the form of food and drink. We were completely satisfied with the way in which it was handled. The restaurant staff were efficient, pleasant and hard-working.

NOT the fault of the hotel, but as present (autumn 2022) the roads in the immediate area are difficult. Works have been ongoing for over 2 years in the adjacent junction. It should be finished early next year. Satnav has a real problem if you are approaching from the south.

Free parking and next to the pub. Very comfortable bed and a decent TV.

There was a strong smell of damp In the room. There was a large patch of plaster missing on the wall from the damp. The room got a bit cold later on and the thermostat seemed to not work on the radiator and they just stayed luke warm. There were cheaper rooms going at the Travelodge and a Half near by but I chose this as it was next to a decent pub, but that closed at 10.30pm on a Saturday too.

Clean and comfortable room, nicely decorated, well equipped and a good size. Staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Plenty of parking right outside. Pub provided good range of food options.

Not really hotel's fault but other guests were very noisy outside the building after midnight, and stayed there chatting and smoking for a long time. Too hot to close the windows so it made for a disrupted night. Maybe the hotel could remove the seating from the area outside the bedrooms as people could sit outside the pub instead.
