Lovely place to stay. Beautiful grounds very friendly staff. Brilliant leisure facilities and well kept golf course. All in all very good value.

The beds were awful!!

The staff were really friendly and welcoming and my time there was very relaxing. I wanted somewhere with a pool, a spa treatment was a bonus. Both the pool changing area and treatment rooms were modern and well kept. Breakfast was brilliant.

Parts of it were dated and a little tired looking. The bed and pillows were too soft for me but that’s a personal preference. The half board dinner menu was very limited so I’d opt to dine in the other eateries next time. My request to have my dessert brought to my room (I was too full to eat it all there and then) seem to absolutely baffle the staff and there was lots of going back and forth until they decided it could be done. In hindsight I should have just asked them to not bring the food out so quick!

The views are amazing going in to the property. The bed is really comfy and the room is spacious and clean. The swimming pool water is a bit cold but tolerable. I really enjoyed the full English breakfast and they gave us a lot of food choices. The best part of it is we got it at a very low price. We’ll definitely come back.

I hope guests can walk on the forest trails because apparently it’s only exclusive for the golfers (which one of them shouted at us because we didn’t know that it’s off limits to non-golfers lol). The food prices in the two restaurants are expensive so we have to go out of the property to look for food (Coventry is just 20mins away so not a problem).

Hotel was great, really nice room and lovely surroundings, just a shame we arrived late and didn't have chance to explore. Staff were excellent in every department.

Was a little bit disappointed with the food. We paid for half board so got a limited menu when we arrived at the restaurant. We had looked at the menu before we got to the hotel and found that quite a lot of the items were not included in the menu that we got. The garlic mushrooms were delicious but the toast was all soggy underneath them. we opted for the burger that was a bit messy towards the end but was ok and the Mocha dessert was ok but nothing special.

I paid £12 for a dessert plate for my boyfriend’s birthday to be in the room when we arrived. There were 2 miniature cakes and 3 ultra thin slices of Battenberg cake that had been sat out for an unknown length of time but they were all hard/stale. I felt this was so poor for the price I paid. The room was a good size with a huge bed but the bathroom is in need of an update with mould in the grout of the tiling.

I have stayed here previously, and on both occasions, everything is great, a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Always a good breakfast choice, would highly recommend.

Just one issue on this second visit, and it was the room was cold and we couldn't find a way to increase the heat in the room unfortunately. Which left me with a chill the following morning. I also noticed the corridors were colder despite the heating being on. Maybe if you can not do anything about heating, provide extra blankets this time of year. However, I would still stay again and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is like a labyrinth, hilarious trying to find our room many times 😂 loved the adventure tho. The leisure facilities were lovely, beautiful big sauna and a chilly pool, great if you prefer colder water.. we had lovely big room and really comfy bed, the down pillows were far too soft tho. Staff throughout the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, the grounds were stunning, lots of wildlife around and a huge herd of deer.. staff on the gate were helpful and friendly. Located about 10 mins by car to the NEC.

We loved it and will be back. The staff are the main benefit of this hotel, they literally will bend over backwards for you, they are amazing. The food was lovely, the setting is just beautiful and the facilities, bars and terraces are in very good order and comfortable

Our TV didn't work properly and we reported it 3 times. It was annoying, but we had a great time anyway watching the Olympics in the bar The food was great and tasty but definitely overpriced, I think £20 for a burger is excessive

The staff in general were very attentive. Thomas in the Fairway bar and grill in particular was determined to make our stay as special as he could. My husband is Gluten free which can be thought of as a nuisance when ordering food but the team were very helpful. Also there were clear signs at breakfast to show what was GF and not.

The hotel is in need of a bit of TLC, a huge undertaking but it would really benefit from even the paintwork being cleaned and painted and the carpets cleaned. My husband also took the opportunity to take a walk around the grounds. The reception staff had advised him to just follow the tarmac path through the golf course and there was a woodland walk. He was 'told off' by a group of golfers for walking along the path and the woodland path was blocked by large fallen trees. Perhaps the golfers could be more respectful to paying guests as this is a shared facility after all! Pillows were lumpy

From the moment we arrived the views of the place where amazing from seeing deers and baby squirrels, staff were very polite, nothing was to much for them, we arrived at 7pm Friday to a Anniversary gesture and 2 personal messages from staff and housekeeping.. this was lovely 1st night we went for dinner and had an amazing 3 course meal the food was amazing staff couldn't do enough for you, nothing was a bother. Saturday morning breakfast was a lovely nice selection of fruits and pastries and nice cooked breakfast, coffee tea, and plenty of choice on fruit juices. The spa was lovely we had use of everything from gym and swim spent the afternoon enjoying the facilities of sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Evening meal on Saturday wasn't what I expected it was a buffet to which my husband wasn't impressed with, he would of preferred the set meal from Friday, we wasn't told there a buffet on the Saturday evening an wasn't offered alternative, but other customers were offered alternative. Sunday morning breakfast and late check out, which is great, no rushing around. The beds were comfortable? The room was very spacious, small toiletries where there on arrival, which is a lovely gesture. I forgot toothbrushes, and they sent me to? The smallest gesture goes a long way.
