Food was fabulous. Room was nice. Excellent half board deal however a bit of a let down this time.

The room had a note to say that we could have a complimentary fruit platter and two soft drinks. After ordering this Reception unfortunately it didn’t appear. I unfortunately left a dress in the wardrobe and after ringing the hotel on the day of departure, chasing several times and also visiting, no one from housekeeping rang me back. After contacting another member of staff for their help. I was told that the dress hadn’t been located. Raises the question where it’s gone as it definitely didn’t come home with me.

Oh waw what an excellent hotel !!!! We were visiting the Koi Show and hotel was literally 6 minutes away. Hotel was bright and airy , a lovely atmosphere throughout and staff were excellent . Nothing was too much trouble. Room was spotlesly clean , bed comfortable and even a cooling fan , iron and ironing board was provided for clothes that had creased in the suitcase !!! Excellent idea .Bathroom had all complimentary shower gel and shampoo even though i brought my own too . Breakfast lovely and plenty of it . , It was such a pity that we could only stay one night , but will definitely go back .

Nothing at all everything was perfect.

The room was very clean and spacious. Huge bed with nice bedding. Sofa and lots of floor space. Only downside was how dark the room was but we were there for a wedding so I had makeup done in the Bride's room which was much brighter. Housekeeping went in on the 2nd day which was nice as everything was topped up for that evening. Tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits, a safe, hairdryer, iron and a fan which was gratefully received because the room was warm. I think we opted for an executive double with a view. I believe we ended up with something different as the bed was definitely a super king and we had no view but we were very happy.

It seemed to depend which staff were on as to what sort of service we received. We waited all evening for a bucket with some ice which never arrived and had to chase up room service 3 times. The following morning and 2nd evening was much better. The breakfast seemed to have very little in the way of lactose free/dairy free options; ended up with dry toast as they only had butter for example, but what was available was nice and fresh.

the rooms were exceptionally hot with no air on and just a fan. one couple in our party had a scorching shower that could not be fixed so they were moved mid stay to a room with only patio doors and no windows that could just be left open and in a premium room originally, they weren’t given any discount at all on their stay which I felt was a bit poor form!

Convenient quite location with pets. Lots of space and easy access via side door when travelling with animals. spacious bathroom with good shower and hot water. bed was clean and cosy.

Too Expensive. Was told I had a Executive room and wouldn't be downgraded due to Crufts, however the room I was assigned was small with too much furniture, no space for dog crates, which hotel insisted we brought into room when I booked. No cash transactions, all card, the choice would have been nice! Windows were old with a breeze coming in and the heating was one storage heater which was either stifling or freezing! £20.00 per night extra for pets is a little steep, as this added £60.00 to our already expensive room. Room was tidied each day, not stripped or cleaned, so I cannot see how £60.00 was justified?

Reception staff was super friendly, plenty of free parking, My room was little old fashioned, but not a major issue it was super clean, bed was comfy, tea and coffee facilities, working TV, and a great shower, there was some dressing gowns and those little slippers things, free shampoo and conditioner. 100% recommend would definitely stop again

Couple of negatives the bar wouldn't take cash which anoying when have notes in your pocket !, And the free wifi I was getting less that 700mb at 3am, needed as mobile coverage is not great in hotel

I've stayed at this hotel before on several occasions. It's a good hotel with a Marco Pierre White restaurant. Ample parking spaces and only 10 mins from the NEC. Rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable and bathroom is clean and modern.

My only criticism of this Hotel is that there is NEVER a bottle of water in the room. There is coffee, tea, hot chocolate sachets - even biscuits but NEVER water. As one person who doeasn't drink tea, coffe, chocolate it would be great if they could find their way to putting a small bottle of water in each room. The ONLY hotel I've stayed in that sdoesn't do this.

The Bed was very comfortable, Bath room well equipped with a deep bath and shower. Breakfast was very good with a great choice to choose from. Coffee was hot.

Booked a Executive Double Room with View. The Room we were allocated I believe was a Comfort Double Room which had a put you up extra bed in the room which reduced the space The View from the room (see attached photo) was to say the least not what I expected. We complained but ended up with what we were given.

Beautiful looking hotel. Room was spacious and the bathroom was clean with a modern decor. Big TV suitable to the room size. Bed was huge and comfortable. I also got a great price, so it was excellent value for money. Free parking right outside the hotel, and I found the free wi-fi to be of a good standard.

The lady in reception had none of the interpersonal skills required for the role. No welcome, no explanation of restaurant facilities. On the second day I returned to reception as my key no longer worked. Same lady in duty Massive queue. Waited patiently, when it was my turn, no greeting, no apology, then she simply returned my card without a word. I had to ask, was it now working? Very poor from a hotel chain of this stature.

Hotel was comfortable and spotlessly clean as always. All the staff are attentive, friendly and helpful throughout. We have stayed there several times and will stay there again. It is great place to stay if you are going to the NEC Birmingham just a 10 minute drive away. But a lovely quiet location.

The only let down is the restaurant. The staff are welcoming and friendly, but we were surprised the menu is still the same as the last couple of years. And unfortunately our food on the first night wasn't the hottest and made the meal disappointing. But the second night was better. Just a shame the menu hadn't changed
