The hosts were both fantastic! We were immediately greeted warmly with homemade cakes on our arrival. Brin provided us with a map of the local area and had lots of helpful advice about the different places to eat in the area and places to sight see. We chose a room with a balcony and we really enjoyed sitting outside there with a glass of wine, overlooking the garden. The room was spotlessly clean, very spacious and the bed was very comfy. I was really impressed with the breakfast. The breakfast room is a really nice bright space overlooking the garden. There is a wide selection of things available with fresh fruit, tea coffee and granola and a good range of cooked options and the presentation, it was absolutely perfect. I've already recommended it to all my friends and family! We would love to stay again!

Nothing.

The property was a lovely old house but spotlessly clean. The room we had was quirky with a couple of steps down from the door but was a lovely bedroom. Separate bathroom with a shower over a bath which we loved after a long walk up snowdon a relax in the bath. A kettle with plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The breakfasts were so well stocked from fresh fruit to yoghurts. Full Welsh breakfast. Lots on offer. The owners Bryn and Mary were absolutely lovely. Couldn’t do anymore for us. Told us where was good to eat, gave us phone numbers to restaurants. Directions to places. Also brought us Bara Brith cake both nights we were there. Which was beautiful so tasty. Which Mary also gave us the recipe for to make ourselves. Criccieth is a beautiful little village. Definitely a good recommendation.

Nothing at all.

This is simply one of the nicest places we've ever stayed! If you book the room with the balcony you can sit outside in the mornings/evenings with a coffee and there's even a view of Criccieth castle. Our room was spacious and the en-suite was huge! The breakfasts were excellent with fruit, cereals and full English etc all available in a light and airy room. Guests can also make use of a lovely sitting room, the garden and the property has off-road parking. Many thanks to our hosts Meri and Bryn for a lovely stay, your B&B is exceptional!

Nothing.

The room was first class - a good size, comfortable, had a small balcony and a large shower room. The Welsh full breakfast was great - award winning sausage and bacon supplied locally, plus fresh fruit as a starter, different fruit every day 😃 We highly recommend this place to stay in Cricieth, the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

The only, but very slight problem, was that, we have large wide car, we found parking to be a little tight. Nothing more we could say, it was a lovely place.

We picked the perfect place to stay,Bryn and Mary made us so welcome from the start of our stay till the end.The house was fantastic and so close to the centre of town with loads of places to eat and explore. Every time we got back from a day out we were asked about our trip and given other ideas for places to visit the next day or places to eat. Our room was lovely with everything you need, tea and coffee making facilities came in each day after a day out. Breakfast was the best different cereal to choose from fresh fruit cooked breakfast toast and marmalade set you up for the day. All in all we totally enjoyed our time at Bron Aber and would definitely go back or recommend to friends and family.

Nothing to dislike.

Located in the beautiful seaside town of Criccieth, within walking distance to the central street and the beach. A warm and friendly welcome from our hosts, they were wonderful, and had great local knowledge and provided us with a delicious breakfast each morning, as well as tasty homemade welsh fruitcake to try on our arrival. Particularly liked drinking my morning coffee out of the Portmeirion tea set, and looking out into the garden. A beautiful part of the world and would completely recommend staying here! The room we stayed in was spacious, sparkling clean and fresh- a great, cosy place to retire to after a busy day exploring. Thank you, staying here made our break all the more special.

Both Bryn and Meri were very welcoming and attentive hosts helping us in every possible way to feel happy at their house as guests and as French tourists discovering the region. They offered us delicious home made bara brith on our arrival and on the following day after climbing the Snowdon, gave us excellent advice to visit lovely places or eat in nice restaurants, helped us to charge our electric car. Their house is really lovely and cosy, and surrounded by a nice little garden. All the rooms are spotless clean and decorated with taste. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, the best bacon ever. We will always have fond memories of our stay at Bron Aber/Criccieth. Highly recommended!

The property was tucked away, located in a private, quiet area. We had a lovely warm and welcoming home like place to come back to everyday. The room was large with a balcony and a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was provided and there was a lot of choice for vegetarians. It was prepared every morning with love!

There was nothing to not like - it was truly wonderful

Bryn and Mary were perfect hosts. Their house is beautiful and our room was amazingly clean, inviting and so very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The Full Welsh Breakfast was exceptional and lovely little touches like fresh fruit and yoghurt on your table was perfect. An unexpected treat was being greeted each afternoon when we returned to the guest house with a slice of Bara Brith covered with the most delicious Welsh butter. We were genuinely sad to leave after our three night stay but will be coming back for sure xxx
