The room was large with a big comfortable bed and the powerful walk-in shower was just what we needed after a long day of walking. Pattra, our host, was extrememely friendly and accommodating, she made us feel very welcome. There was a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and toast available for breakfast, plus freshly cooked hot food to order. I chose the vegetarian option and the eggs, which were sourced locally, were particularly good. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and again, the food and service were great. Would recommend booking an upstairs room as it is a very old building and can hear footsteps from the room above.

Fabulous stay , accommodation , our room was superb , service and food (we had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant ) both were exceptional , food and service could not fault. The guest experience from check in to check out was impeccable, and Pattra couldnt do enough for us., little touches made my birthday stay one to remember. We parked outside the Inn , which was ideal and her attention to detail and customer service was impeccable, all the restaurant staff were lovely , and made us feel most welcome. The location was super for us . We shall be back and would highly recommend . Thankyou Pattra and the team . Thoroughly recommend .

Firstly excellent location, adjacent to the Castle itself. Offering all you could need and more. There is a Breakfast room, Pattra’s Restaurant and The Aviation Bar - with a wonderful view. Choice of ‘British’ menu and Thai menu for dinner. If you choose to have dinner, which you should, we would recommend the Thai option. It was delicious! Breakfast was beautifully laid out with extensive choices including cooked options. The rooms are so well appointed absolutely faultless. Tea and coffee making Lovely shower room all high quality toiletries and fixtures and fittings. So many first class personal touches! The beds were so comfortable and the linens top quality.

Nothing! The time frame for breakfast is a rather small window 8-9am. However that probably suits the majority of travellers to wales. Check out is 10.30.

If we could score higher than 10 we would! Practically perfect in every way! Our room ( room 3) had a stunning view of the Castle and the sea, it was absolutely spotlessly clean and tidy. The hospitality tray in our room was nothing other than outstanding! decent coffee, biscuits and hot chocolate. The bath was a total luxury , great for soaking thoses aches and pains after a day at zip world! The location of the hotel is close to lots of beautiful beaches and attractions-perfect for a summer holiday in North Wales. We opted to have residents dinner ( please pre order!) which just so happened to be authentic Thai food- absolutely delicious!! ( other dishes are available). Breakfast, again great quality ingredients, lots of options. And last but by no means least our wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble, you are made to feel so welcomed and cared for from the moment you step through the door. Thank you for our wonderful stay! Old building but very nicely renovated, with some deliberate displays of the old beams, etc. Large spacious, comfortable bed room with very large bed and large modern bathroom. Very nice breakfast room with excellent breakfast included in the price.

The bus did not take us as close to this hotel as we thought it would. And some said maybe not all #39 buses come up to the top of the hill anyway. Note very safe or easy to walk down with luggage to the railroad station, but Inn owner called a taxi for us (and driver said not even he wants to take the most direct street- which is the "steepest in the world".)

We received a very warm welcom from Pattra, who was an amazing host throughout our stay. We had lovely meals which were made available to us guests even though the main restaurant was closed on the day of our stay. The room was spacious, well decorated, very clean and quiet. A good breakfast was served in the morning with plenty of choices. Also the location, very near the castle and with a good view over the valley, in the 'steepest street' was wonderful. If we are ever in the neighborhood again we will definitely stay with Pattra in her lovely cottage.

I arranged this booking for a special birthday celebration for my wife and asked if we could have a "good" table for our evening meal. Pattra went above and beyond my expectations with table decorations a lovely dessert from her and her team. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, the service slick and professional and the setting was magical. Follow this with a great nights sleep in a fabulous room then a tasty breakfast the following morning and you'll understand why we would totally recommend the Castle Cottage as a place to visit.

Pattra and the young ladies were exceptional hosts. Always had a smile on their faces and nothing was ever too much trouble. Gorgeous B&B with a lovely breakfast, good coffee and both nights we stayed, we ate in the restaurant. The Saturday night was a Thai menu and it was just beautiful! Pattra and the waitresses all wore traditional dress and looked beautiful. We loved our stay and if we are up in Harlech again, would definitely come back. Thank you for everything!

The only downside is the lack of car parking space. There’s only 3 outside and we were unable to use them at all over the weekend so had to pay for the long stay car park and walk 10 minutes with our bags, but this of course isn’t the direct fault of the accommodation, just unfortunate.

We booked two rooms - both were spacious and clean with good sized bathrooms. Lots of complimentary toiletry items and tea, coffee etc. Good wi-fi too. We pre-booked an evening meal all of which was delicious and good value for money. Breakfast was generous with fresh fruit etc. and a choice of freshly cooked items. Service was impeccable throughout with a warm, generous host.

The Inn is an old building so quirky and with some steep uneven stairs in the main building so might not suit everyone. Some rooms are in the adjacent annex and our two rooms were in the two different buildings (understandable given there are only 7 rooms).

Great service, great staff, lovely food in the evening, we had lamb and chicken and mushroom pie, comfortable bed, good size bedroom with tea and coffee facilities, cookies, hairdryer, the bathroom had additional soaps etc if you had forgotten anything. Really nice cooked breakfast in the morning . The hotel was spotless and the staff where always pottering to ensure it was kept that way.

The noise from the room above, the floor was very loud and whoever was above must have had flippers on, the bathroom was very tidy but at 5ft 7 still had to duck under the shower to wet our hair., but we do understand that it is a cottage so will also have limited space.
