The outside space and jacuzzi were great. The jacuzzi is so big and the pool part of it is deeper than I had imagined and you get this all to yourselves!.The bathroom was also spacious. The bed and pillows comfy. The entire place was very clean. The location was great..so quite and peaceful but not far by car to Deal, Ramsgate,,Margate or Broadstairs. Hosts were on hand if needed and are a lovely couple. Breakfast was good too. Would recommend as perfect for a little break.

There was nothing we didn't like. We were very lucky as we had beautiful weather so were out alot.. It was .lovely to come back to after being out all day.

The hosts were fantastic friendly and so accommodating The room has everything we needed and more. The hydro jacuzzi pool was amazing. Breakfast was first class loved the sausages. Completely private but with hosts on hand should you need anything. We will be sharing the details of our wonderful stay with friends and family as long as they don't pinch the dates we want to return. Thank you. Not only are you in our top 3 short break destinations, but you are vying for 1st place and we do a lot and don't usually return (as there's so many new places to visit) but we will defo be back soon.

Having to leave

Everything from time we arrived to the minute we left . This place is amazing for that relaxing getaway. cindy&bob welcomed us, and we're great host from first meeting them to saying goodbye. The room was immaculate clean and had everything we needed. It was a lovey bathroom with a big shower, and the bed was so comfy we just wanted to get back in..then the cherry on the cake was the amazing jacuzzi, a real relaxing treat. Woke the next morning to a great full English that was tasty and ample potion. All in all, a wonderful stay and place We will visit again and recommend this place to anyone who needs that relaxation and battery charging break

Cyd and Bob are WORLD CLASS hosts. They go the extra mile for you in every way. The property is outstanding and very quiet. Perfect for couples just wanting to get away. The food is exceptional and exceptional value. Your room is beautifully clean and catered for in every way.icing on the cake is the hydro pool - brings the day to a perfect relaxing end.

The fact we only booked for 2 nights - could have stayed longer as so relaxing.

Bob and Cindy were excellent hosts. Both are really friendly and will do anything to help. Cindy's food, breakfast and dinner, is superb. My wife does not eat red meat or spicy food but Cindy was more than happy to produce something which fitted her taste. It was lovely to be able to have high class food and not have to drive anywhere so we could have a few drinks. The jacuzzi is more like a small pool. Great to have next door to your room. It's really relaxing.l The retreat is well located. Just over the road is a lovely farm shop and cafe that we visited before we checked in. The room has a fridge/fr|eezer which was useful after buying a few things from the shop. This trip was for my wife's 50th. We could not have chosen better and would love to return when we can find someone to look after the kids!

Would have preferred a harder mattress but that's a personal preference as I know many prefer soft beds

Great location for visiting Deal etc. The room had all that we needed and the Jacuzzi area was huge. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even put up a Happy Birthday banner for my wife. The Jacuzzi was very nice and a great addition to our time away. We were pleased with the Breakfast that was made fresh and met our request for vegan. Defiantly recommend and will return. My wife really enjoyed her birthday with a touch of luxury.

Quiet, peaceful location with beautiful grounds and garden with subtle lighting in garden after dark. Secure parking within locked gates. The retreat was spotlessly clean, with great attention to detail. I booked a break away to celebrate my husbands birthday. I wasn’t expecting 5* treatment. Happy birthday banner on the wall in pool area and a surprise birthday cake with candle. The bedroom was perfect for our needs with a comfortable bed. Kitchenette facilities included a kettle, large fridge, microwave & toaster. TV and so much more. Bathroom with a large walk in shower, plenty of towels & toiletries. Hosts: Bob & Cindy were very friendly & welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous Jacuzzi/Hydrotherapy pool was lovely & warm & very relaxing with comfortable seating around the pool, together with additional towels. Delicious Full English Breakfast, individual menus left for us to complete and make our choice the night before, served at our chosen time. Bob & Cindy went the extra mile by providing breakfast when we returned from a Park run in Deal. We also pre-ordered dinner from the menu, starter and mains, we could only liken to a ‘fine dining experience’ Presentation & quality of the food was exceptional. Can’t wait to return to sample Cindy’s cooking again. We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable, restful weekend. We’re looking forward to returning to the retreat fairly soon.

Absolutely everything. 🌟 🌟 ⭐️ It was exactly what it said on the tin and even more. There isn't a thing that Bob and Cindy haven't thought of. The finishings and touches everywhere are just top class. 👌 The hospitality and service is 10/10. So helpful and kind. I imagine they treat every guest with the same level of quality each stay as they take so much pride in their home and business. Breakfast and service system is super and the pool is just fabulous. A really unique stay and so close to all the attractions in Kent. 10 mins -20 mins drive to all the major sightseeing spots along the cost including deal, Dover Castle etc. All facilities are extremely functional and it was one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. Highly recommended and thank you so much to our wonderful hosts. ❤️

We have just got home from a very comfortable, relaxing night away. I must say Bob and Cydney go above and beyond to ensure that their guests are well looked after. The cleanliness is exceptional , breakfast was lovely and the jacuzzi / hydrotherapy pool is just the icing on the cake. Wish we had stayed the 2 nights ! Thoroughly enjoyed it including going for dinner locally (steak was lovely) . Hopefully return in the Summer time . Thank you :)

Was all lovely

Bob and Cindy were the perfect hosts. On call when we needed them, friendly and helpful, made sure we had everything we needed. We had plenty of privacy but we only had to press the bell if we needed them. All the small little touches were noticed such as the chocolates on top of the towels when we arrived and the sanitised strip on the toilet to show everything had been cleaned well. The whole area was perfectly clean, lovely comfortable bed (even for Troy being 6’6!), the bathroom was great. But of course the best part was the jacuzzi area. We felt so relaxed there! The breakfasts we had both mornings were divine (the best we’ve had going away anywhere) and we would love to come back and try more of Cindy’s cooking. How anyone can say it’s standard needs to have their tastebuds checked! For the price for two nights we think it was well worth the money and will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you both so much!
