We had the 'disabled' room and it had everything we needed, including a table and chairs for when we got takeaway dinner or preferred breakfast on a tray in the room. It was very clean and with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent - whatever we requested was provided, along with helpful information about the area and things to see and do.

The room would be too tight to wheel the wheelchair right into the bathroom if needed, however we managed just fine as my mother was able to walk the short distance.

Our room had a private entrance so we did not have to enter or exit thru the main house. There was nothing to dislike about our room….it was very comfortable, had every facility including a table & 4 chair should we have wanted to buy & in a take away. We could have purchased wine from Diane & Tye if we had wanted & our room was quiet although facing the road. Bathroom lovely & the room looked over a small field.

There was nothing to dislike about our room. For us, the property provided everything we needed for a lovely 2 day stay.

Everything regarding the booking worked like clockwork. The accommodation was warm, cosey and spotlessly clean. A great choice for breakfast which was perfectly prepared and served. Tye made our stay worthwhile with his cheerful outlook and knowledge of the local area. We wish Tye and Diane all that's good for the future.

We could not find any fault with our accommodation. We could not have selected a worse time to visit this area of Kent. It was bitterly cold with constant rain and to cap it all heavy fog on the day we returned to London. The room facilities and warmth of our hosts made the stay worthwhile.

The rooms were very tidy with everything you needed from towels to tea coffee and water. The breakfast was freshly cooked every morning and you had a choice of tea or coffee, yoghurts, cereal and fruit then Tye would come and take your cooked breakfast order nothing was to much for either Tye or Diane. We were asked if we needed anything in our rooms at breakfast and anything you needed Tye would get for you and leave it on the table outside they never came in your room unless you asked them to change the bedding or towels. They even went out of there way to find me a baby gate to put on the door so that my dog couldn’t get out. Would definitely go back again. The B&B was in a little village and was close to Sandwich, Dover, Deal, Folkestone and many more places that Tye gave us some excellent places to visit.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

The personnel was excellent, very detailed centered and attentive. We felt very welcomed with our cat and dog. The room was clean, tidy and of good taste decorated. It looks exactly like in the pictures. The place is located in a very cute town, near to the sea, worth visiting. Free park in the street and the neighborhood was quiet, with restaurants nearby, we recommend St Crispin Inn for lunch. You definitely should visit Canterbury if you have time. Breakfast 10/10, incredible value for money.

Just a minor thing to improve: the room had no air conditioning and it was a bit warmer than we wanted, we couldn´t open the windows because they were not "cat proof". There was a fan that was a bit noisy, but nothing terrible.

Everything - our hosts Diane and Tye could not have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plenty of choice. The room was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was provided for. The location was ideal with easy access to all the English Heritage properties we visited. To top it all, St Crispin Inn in the village offered superb food and a lovely atmosphere. We will be back!

Everything about this little villa is perfect. We stayed as a family of 4 with our dog, on our way to Dover for the ferry. Tye and Diane are fab owners and made us feel so welcome. The room was decent size and very cosy. There is a lovely pub down the road and Tye called ahead to book us a table. Next morning we had a cooked breakfast before heading for Ferry, couldn't ask for a better experience ☺️

Perfectly situated for our early morning ferry. A great sized room for 4 people. Nice and warm despite the miserable weather when we arrived. Very welcoming host who made a point of coming to greet us. A lovely breakfast experience with the children really made a fuss of. We were tight on time and our youngest even got his breakfast in a box to have in the car- it was an early start for us all and this was really helpful.

The room was very clean, quite spacious as well. All the necessities were there like shampoo etc. Also spare toothbrush and paste. Very well thought through. Breakfast was really good too and right on time. Owners great sense of humour was just a bonus. They even got a biscuits for dogs if you were to travel with pets. Overall I was quite impressed. Thank you

Di and Tye were the most accommodating and helpful hosts we could possibly imagine. That together with a great room and facilities made it a wonderful stay. The pub down the road was fine - although the staffing was entertaining at times.
