The room was clean and well presented. The restaurant was very good, food was lovely and all the staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming. Parking was plentiful and electric car charging points available for customers and locals.

Just a little attention to maintenance of the room would enhance anyone's stay. Firstly the handle on the door to the room was only held in place by one screw. There was no seal on the bottom of the shower screen which made large puddle on bathroom floor, the shelf in the bathroom was tilting downwards so we were unable to put toiletries on there and finally the panel behind the bed came away when you put the lights on. As stated before just a little maintenence and the room would be absolutely fine.

Hotel rooms are comfy, lovely grounds, great bar, excellent food and family friendly. The footgolf was good fun too. Great location to head out into northwales for day trips. Local town of flint has all the shops you'd expect and a nice castle and costal walk to do

Although mentioned in details about this place hosting functions so may be noisy until midnight found the noise from function was bearable, its the noisy guests singing shouting etc afterwards while leaving or waiting for taxis until gone 1am the worst part. But on our 2nd night there was no function and it was silent

Easy location for my work. Good value for money. Warm. Very basic but all you need for a night's stay and generally clean. Nice to be able to walk the dogs around the golf course in the morning.

One of the towels had obviously been washed but still had a lot of make up stains and dirt on it. The room wasn't ideal for the dogs as it was up a flight of open, metal stairs which were quite dangerous with the ice that night. No salt was distributed on them for safety which I would recommend. The mattress wasn't very comfortable. Generally, I was a little disappointed as the room I stayed in last time had a very comfortable bed. I would still stay again but would request a ground floor room.

The staff are lovely people, the property has lots of character and the breakfast was both good and reasonably priced. The room itself was clean and comfortable - needed a little tlc to improve it overall. The shower was excellent, but I couldn’t stop it dripping after I’d used it!

No dinner or bar after 8pm! I would have loved a bit of life/ company after I checked in. I wish I’d known. The electric lighting circuit in my room was rather eccentric - the bedside wall fixtures didn’t seem to work at all.

Location was within half an hour of my work. Easy to find. Liked the motel feel and ability to park directly outside. Clean. Comfy bed. Large bathroom. Nice to be allowed to walk the dogs around the golf course in the morning.

Quite noisy as it was so near the car park and people passing the door until quite late at night. Perhaps an inner, heavy curtain to cover the door area would help. Glass panels in/around the door let in too much light. Was extremely hot in the room initially but I was able to turn the radiator down and it was fine. The furniture was a little scruffy but it was clean overall so that didn't matter.

Great location, only a half an hour drive from Rhyl and Talacre Beach. Staff were friendly and informative. Our room was okay, clean and well stocked with towels, complimentary toiletries and a coffee making area. If you're bringing dogs, it's £15 per pooch, which is reasonable. We ate out so I can't comment on the bar and restaurant area. Shower pressure was good too. Overall we had a great time!

We could hear our neighbours snoring/talking and smelt (cigarette) smoke through the vents in our room which was unfortunately right next to our bed. Wasn't a deal breaker though, the room was worth it for the price we paid. The only other niggle would be the positioning of the TV, which faced the (unoccupied) single bed near to our double, which made watching it a bit of a task.

Nice bathroom. Mini fridge with bottled water. Overall a nice place and an enjoyable stay. Kids liked it.

I booked a family room for myself and my two kids. I'm sure somewhere during the booking process I was asked the age of the children. Found on arrival that we had one single and one double bed. Needed either 3 singles or a double and 2 singles ideally as the kids are of an age where they don't want to share a bed at all. Maybe I needed to specify the bed requirements in a customer special request or something and overlooked this. There was a sofa so the kids had the beds and I slept on the sofa. I'm not one to make a fuss and the room was nice so I chose not to quibble over it and bother staff about what was a minor issue that we worked around.

Bar staff and food was very good. Cheap and value for money in terms of location and the bar/ restaurant. Chef is very good.

Cold room with poor drainage. Woke up in the middle of the night shivering. Toilet seemed blocked but drained very slowly didn’t find out till the reception building had shut about 20:30 so had to just live with it. Shower also nearly flooded the bathroom because that was also draining slowly. Wouldn’t put me off going back. Maybe request a different room next time

Fantastic breakfast and great base for exploring North Wales, Chester and Liverpool as it is just a short walk to the train (or drive). Beautiful views of the golf course. If you like golf you will love it here. Flint castle is not far and is a fantastic place to visit with great coastline walks. The staff are so friendly and helpful. In fact the people of Flint are really welcoming. There are lovely touches in the room, like bottled water each day and a great range of tea, coffee and biscuits and plenty of fluffy towels. Rooms are all a good size. I have stayed several times at the hotel as I have friends and family in the north, so I have got to know the hotel very well. I am a repeat customer, and I love it! Thank you Yan and the team for another great stay x

Nothing. Loved it all

Staff very friendly and helpful I stayed as a mum on my own with my 2 children. I did feel a little unsafe as the didn't have a double lock and there was a lot of people walking past the door, as there was a wedding on in the venue it was a little noisy and the walls very thin. I could hear the people next door tuning lights on and off and coughing from around 4 am so didn't get much sleep. Room was clean and tidy Very pretty scenery and they had a bbq and music evebt on that was fun and very resonable.
