Self check- in was easy and the apartment we stayed in with our 2 dogs, was spacious and well equipped, the zip and link bed was huge and extremely comfortable, with lovely plump pillows and also memory foam pillows. We had a full size dishwasher, microwave and full size fridge in the kitchen area and also 2 large tvs in the room, one in front of a 2 seater settee, the other to watch in bed. There was also a beautiful en suite bathroom and plenty of white fluffy towels supplied, you could also have your room cleaned daily if required, there are 2 campsites but it was still very peaceful, we had a wonderful stay.

There can be a shortage of parking at times, but reception will help if you're having difficulty.!

It was gorgeous! The room was dog-friendly and felt more like an annexe, rather than a standard room. It even had a mini kitchen, with hobs and everything! The bed was massive and very comfortable and there was enough room to set up the dog crate. The Torrent Trail was right on the doorstep, which was just spectacular with the Autumn colours. We were planning to walk up Cader Idris and the start location was only a few minutes drive away.

Access to Dolgellau was tricky, especially with the dog. No footpath on the main road and the cars go fast own there. There didn't appear to be a bus service that went near the accommodation and taxis were difficult to obtain. This is clearly not the fault of the property owners though, and is completely out of their control.

We stayed in the Arran Cottage which provided more than enough space for our family of 3 plus our 2 dogs. We also had our own enclosed private garden and dedicated parking space big enough for our campervan. The pictures online accurately reflect the accommodation. Check in and out is super easy and the staff very friendly. The cottage and site generally were IMMACULATELY CLEAN. The cottage is tastefully decorated and the garden had a perfect balance of patio, grass and pretty flowers. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The accommodation included all the appliances and kitchenware we needed and there was plenty of coffee and hot chocolate supplies, along with everything we needed to wash up etc. The shower was also really powerful with plenty of hot water and more than enough hand wash, body wash and shampoo. The storage space was perfectly adequate. The views were picturesque and it's a very peaceful location. The accommodation along with local towns such as Dolgellau and Barmouth are all very dog friendly, I don't recall anywhere else being so welcoming of dogs. This accommodation is well located for short easy drives to Dolgellau, Barmouth, Coed-y-Brenin, etc.

It was great having a dishwasher and tablets but unfortunately it had run out of salt and rinse aid and these weren't available for us to top it up. Not a negative of the accommodation at all but just for people to be aware of the location; there are no footpaths available to the local town of Dolgellau. With a child and dogs we didn't feel comfortable walking ir cycling along the busy A470 etc with no pavements so it was just slightly disappointing that we had to drive everywhere.

An interesting, old building with very quirky features. There are big beams and the floor sloped, which was unexpected but understandable with the age of the building. It was quiet and peaceful. The bed was big and comfy with a nice en-suite which was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Tea/Coffee tray was well stocked. Small fridge was handy.

It would have been nice to have some contact with staff, but apart from a glimpse of the person putting items in the dining room for breakfast, who apologised and quickly left the room, we didn't see anyone.

The location is perfect, the room was clean, quiet and comfy. Although we did not have the breakfast due to being up and out before Y Sospan opened, we will definitely be back, therefore to take advantage of this. Although we did not meet a single staff member ( not a problem as we have spoken plenty of times in the past ), whilst booking and confirming, the staff were attentive.

The ONLY things we found a slight concern are that the shower head did not stay in position on the middle to high shower setting, and there definitely needs to be a wall separating the shower from the shelf, as when you take a shower all the water collects on the back, and floods the shelf and floor. Towel was soaking wet by the end of day 2. If the shower issue can be rectified, this would be a 10/10.

Loved our room, with a pretty window, overlooking the garden. We had the use of a small fridge and were given plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and our favourite lotus biscuits! The room was very spacious and clean, with a large double bed, which was so comfy. Lovely spot, overlooking the campsite. Will definitely stay here again.

The location was a bit narrow and difficult to find and the satnav took us to the wrong site! The bathroom, although clean, was a bit out-dated. The hand towels left a lot to be desired ... although clean, one was really badly frayed, one was stained all over with bleach and the bathmat had a hole in it! Bit disappointed that there were no meals onsite and we had to travel into Dolgellau to get an evening meal and breakfast. But, overall, we loved it!

The location is fantastic! So quiet but also very close to Dolgellau. The cottage room we stayed in was huge for 3! The bed was massive and so comfy. The sofa by the TV was comfortable too. The kitchen facilities were good. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits were provided (nice little extra). Great place to spend the night and explore the area. We went into Dolgellau for dinner - fantastic pizzas at The Stag Inn! And Y Sospran breakfast was the perfect start for the day. Highly recommended!

Lovely, well appointed cottage with stunning views over the valley. We stayed in Cada cottage which faces open fields, despite their being a fairly busy campsite behind us we couldn't see or hear it. Check in and out was easy and facilities in the cottage itself were very good. The box of games was a nice touch as was the discount voucher for the local cafe. Beds were really comfortable and the shower was excellent too. WiFi reception was also great especially seeing as we were in quite a remote spot.

Wish we'd found the softer pillows in the wicker basket in the living room! Whilst the memory foam ones on the beds were a nice touch they were far too hard for us. It was also quite difficult to clean your teeth in the twin room due to the size of the cabinet immediately above it. These are only minor issues though and would not put me off staying again. Finally we only stayed one night so couldn't use the hot tub which was a shame (this requires a minimum 2 night stay).

The accommodation easily met my expectations. As a single room it was compact but cleverly designed to cater for all that is needed. Required it as a bed for the night on a short stay. Short drive to Dolgelleau a delightful small market town with a good range of facilities. Mix of cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was not included so eat at Y Sopan as recommended. Good food and well priced. Pub in the centre also good. Interesting adaptation of an old stone building.

Nothing really. Some coming and going of vehicles but generally a quiet oasis. Adjacent campsite but vehicle traffic is directed to a separate entrance/exit to minimise disturbance.

Cadair Cottage was spacious, clean, and, for the most part, well-provisioned. Location was quiet yet central to the hikes in Snowdonia National Park and close to the coast and beaches. The location was out of town with walks available without driving yet close enough to Dolgelleu for shopping and other amenities.

Kitchen cookware needed to be upgraded and laundry facilities were very expensive.
