1. Better clarity and information on car parking options ahead of arrival. 2. We would have benefiitted from a reminder or much clearer prompt for me from you that I need to let you know if I am bringing dogs. Between us, there was a potentially catastrophic breakdown in communication here which could have led to a cancellation of the whole booking 4 days before the stay. 3. An apparent surliness experienced by some of our group by the waiting staff on Saturday evening

The decor and the coziness. The quality of the rooms were excellent. Just what we needed!

There was a horrible, dirty drip mark under the sink basin which could be seen whilst I was taking a bath. It was quite off putting. During breakfast, I ordered the full Welsh breakfast, without the bacon but with an extra sausage. When it arrived, my request had been fulfilled but there was no black pudding. I double checked the menu and it definitely said black pudding was included. I called the waitress over and told her the black pudding was missing, she said she’d go to get me one. Within seconds, she came back and told me they’d run out. I could see black puddings on other guests plates and I love black pudding so that was quite disappointing.

Central location. Nice restaurant. Comfortable room. Great breakfast.

Very slow evening service in the restaurant and didn’t seem busy. 1hr 10 minutes for 3 mains and two of them were salads! To be fair restaurant manager apologised when flagged and complimentary glass of wine given. Lost a child’s raincoat when there and phoned a couple of times to see whether they had seen it. First girl who answered appeared to ask staff in immediate vicinity and said no. We had a photo of it on the bed the day we left and had not been anywhere else and not in the car. Phoned again the following day and chap said he would ask cleaners. Didn’t hear back so presume not found but would have been better customer service to phone back and confirm this.

Every thing was to our expectation. A lovely one night stay on our way home from the National Eisteddfod. The food was very good and the breakfast was superb. our room was very clean and the bed most comfortable.

The parking was limited, the toiletries rather spartan, the handwash was too high on the wall which meant that it dripped on the floor, there was no shower gel or shampoo. The breakfast bar was a little too far away trying to balance a bowl of cereal full of milk and a glass of orange juice was difficult. otherwise it meant several trips from one end of the room to the other.

Our room was very comfortable with a very comfortable bed. It was good to be given daily a flask of real milk for making tea and coffee. The food we had was excellent - the quality of breakfasts was as good as I have ever had in a hotel. It was nice for the hotel to be located centrally in a small town, close to the parish church with its quarter-hour bells. All the hotel staff and management we met were very communicative and anxious to help.

Great spot, nice rooms, great staff in the evening. Dolgellau is a good place for a night or two, plenty evening bars with outside space. Locals really nice. Hotel is good

Breakfast. Wow, not the best! American pancake and fruits were Spar Pankake from a pack & sliced banana, quite the sight. Must just have been having morning Cook problem as mine was not too clever either. But hey, great hotel in great location, with good bar and outside area. Breakfast was only let down (staff less positive in mornings, understandably I guess but still)

Evening meals and breakfast were very good. Bar service was quick and friendly. Room was very comfortable.

The shower was quite small for me, I'm tall and big, not fat but had to open the shower door so i didn't keep banging my arms on the screen when soaping myself down. I was given a cannister of milk for tea and coffee when i checked in but this was taken when my room was cleaned and not replaced but i don't mind black coffee so not really a big deal. Not a lot of parking on site, I had to park up the road when I turned up the 1st night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and we were very grateful for the extra covers as it was snowing. Our evening meal was value for money, tasty and we were very pleased. Our breakfast was very filling to and plenty to chose from.

The only thing we didn't like was Booking.com took money from the card used to make the booking which we were told wouldn't happen, very distressing at the time so I will NOT be using Booking.com in the future. The hotel was perfect so will book direct with them next time.

Room was clean and cosy. Really comfortable bed lovely bathroom. Food in the restaurant was lovely. I was travelling alone and when I asked for a table in the restaurant I was given a table in the window which was fantastic I felt part of the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant without feel I was on show as a single dinner felt completely relaxed.

Fabulous breakfast selection, had full veg breakfast and full Welsh breakfast, both delicious, quick service. Waitress very friendly Loved the room, we even got upgraded free of charge! Large spacious bathroom, tea and coffee facilities in the room and a flask of milk given to us.

Dedicated parking space - hotel car park is very limited, would be good to have a negotiated rate at nearby pay and display parking
