Good staff clean white sheets new mattress on beds fresh coffee and cooked breakfast to order.felt very comfortable and safe there. All for £75 a night bargain bus stop outside the front door why pay £150/£200 a night to stay in Edinburgh city centre 😀

Nothing get what you pay for.went to see city not live in a hotel loads of places to eat in city centre and 10 minutes away from Murrayfield .Uber readly available and well priced

Staff were all friendly and polite and breakfast and service were excellent Location was perfect as I was there for the rugby at Murrayfield stadium. Room was situated at rear of hotel so away from any road noise. bed was really comfortable and I had a great nights sleep.

Could have done with a chair in my room. The TV reception was a bit glitchy but sufferable.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. John was really helpful, nothing we asked for was too much trouble for him. Even though it was just outside the city centre there was a bus stop directly outside the hotel and the buses were regular. The breakfast was great, too. There was a choice of cereals with a full fry up (the sausages were especially good) and toast, juices, tea, and coffee. Perfect It wasn't fancy or modern but for somewhere to lay your head at night. It was ideal. The beds were super comfy. I'd definitely consider booking again. Great value, especially during the fringe.

As mentioned above, it wasn't modern. It was also a bit tired looking. But a little lick of paint and a few upgrades in the furniture, bathrooms, etc. would definitely do it the world of good. Now, this isn't a dislike, more of an observation.

Location wise it is in a perfect position to catch most buses that go around town. Personal where very friendly and helpful, solving any of my issues that i raised. Breakfast is very delicious, and the internet connection was quite fast.

The lighting in the rooms could be improved upon. Breakfast is very delicious, but could be expanded on to have more variety. I would still recommend this place for any new tourists of Edinburgh that want to have easy access to buses.

The staff are so lovely and friendly, they made us feel very welcome and helped up with bus times and transport. Love that there is a bus stop literally outside the hotel, there is always a bus every 10-15 mins. There is also a night bus which is really handy so your not on a time limit. Overall nice pleasant little hotel, perfect for a night away.

The only negative thing I can say is how thin the walls are, we was in a room at the end of the building so only 1 room next to me, all i heard was the tv all night which seemed very loud, and the constant opening and closing of the door. This was very disappointing. The rooms are quite small also but perfect if only staying the night and not planning on being in the room for a while.

Amenable staff, receptionist and owner friendly and willing to help. Rooms and bathrooms very clean. Handy bus stop out front of hotel. Breakfast fine and reasonable choice of cooked or continental. WiFi good.

The main road into town can be a bit noisy for sleep although quiet between 12am - 6am. There was nothing else major to dislike although maybe could do with some decor TLC. Strange looking body jet shower in shared bathroom but didn't try it; basin tap could be fixed.

Location is perfect with the bus stop right outside, shop down the road and being able to park and not worry about driving. Stayed in the double room with private bathroom, had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent, not too much just the right amount.

The bed was too soft and the property could do with being updated, the restaurant is no longer running which was a shame as had a spacious dining area and a bar.

The people who work here are so nice and friendly! They created a very welcoming atmosphere and were talking to us about our stay and our plans for New Year’s Eve in Edinburgh. They helped us to figure out the buses into the centre and just had an overall lovely demeanour! The included fry breakfast was also great and set us up nicely for the rest of the day! I would stay here again and recommend to anyone for an affordable stay, especially on peak holidays like NYE.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

The owner and the staff are super friendly. Well kept house, very clean. Shared bathroom facilities were spotless and quite good (good water pressure, good temperature), cooked breakfast. Room was small but comfortable. Bed standard. Perfect location mid-way between airport and city center, right on bus line 100 with bus stop nearby. Close to the water of Leith for a nice walk leading all the way to the city center.

The room and bathroom were clean, the beds were comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really tasty and hot, cooked to order rather than most hotels where everything sits out for hours and congeals or turns to leather!!

The only down side - although not a problem in any way - was that sounds from other rooms tended to carry - showers gurgling etc.
