From the minute we arrived till the time we left, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The choice of breakfasts was also great-it wasnt an either /or choice but rather decide what you wanted. When we needed a taxi or directions, the receptionist went out of her way and also when we needed to store our bags. The only thing we struggled with was how to turn the tap off in our bathroom and the lights-they were all beautifully designed but it would have been useful to have a crib sheet to say that to turn the tap off it needs to be in the centre. it took us a while to figure that out.

They staff were all fabulous and friendly. beautifully decorated bar/restaurant area. Lovely big room, bed, and bathroom. Great location. Travelled alone (until friends arrived day later) felt totally safe wandering around. So easy getting ubers from, walking to and from. Would most definitely stay again.

My room was incredibly noisy as the back alley was outside my window, so for the 3 days I was there, (Sat/Sun included) I was unable to get a lay in, due to bottle bins being filled and emptied and deliveries... My pillows were also incredibly lumpy! Other than those two things, almost a perfect stay.

Location and not too many rooms. Decor. Rooms were well soundproofed, equipped with Nespresso machine, mini bar, huge walk in shower and White Company toiletries and GHD. Complimentary water, shortbread and robes to use. Very clean. Roomy and full length mirror. Table service at breakfast with good menu choice. Cocktails at bar were great. Staff were friendly and service was great. Complimentary cocktail and cake for friends birthday.

Bar at entrance was not very inviting. Could hear some noise from music at bar but still managed to get a relatively good nights sleep.

Everything from the decor to the staff was exceptional everyone was friendly, the hotel was clean, welcoming and so festive. The decorations were incredible. We didn’t have any meals booked as we had other arrangements in Edinburgh but we hope to come back next year and will hopefully be able to spend more time doing this! Thank you

The only thing was I think the air conditioning system it was quite noisy all through the night, not sure if it was this or just when other rooms were using the bathroom facilities and the pipes but we had the air con off all night and it still made the noise.

The location was ideal for everything. The bedroom was huge, plenty of room (although the floorboards were extremely creaky by the bathroom). The breakfast menu was great and the chef very flexible!

The lack of soundproofing in the rooms. The hotel bar was very loud on Saturday night - this wasn't too bad as we were out late anyway, however, the nightclub noise on Tuesday night was ridiculous (the night before we flew home and were due up at 6am) until at least 3am. To say I was beyond tired was an understatement. This really needs to get sorted out, especially considering the price paid for the rooms.

The boutique nature of the room was perfect! The mini bar was stocked amazingly with a huge variety of snacks and beverages, as was the tea and coffee tray. A huge bathroom with a massive tub checked off my list of "things I love in a hotel" box. The bed was ridiculously comfortable - the entire room was over-sized. The restaurants, various bars, lounges, and conversation nooks and crannies were absolutely amazing. The food and drinks we enjoyed couldn't have been better. I left a pair of earrings and a shoe (just the left one) behind and the front desk mailed them off within a day or two.

We stayed in room 11 (when I say boutique, I mean boutique), which is accessed through a double door situation. Housekeeping had a terrible habit of cleaning room 10 - across the hall and also accessed through the double door - early in the morning (7:00 am) and the double doors would slam constantly, mercilessly waking us up. Normally I wouldn't care . . . but 7:00 am? That's just plain mean when you're on vacation in a city filled with amazing pubs. :)

The decor was magical! Lots of attention to detail from the very start (front door), hotel was filled with lights and baubles. All staff were amazing and friendly. The young lady who served us breakfast (didn't catch her name) was just wonderful and got an amazing vibe from her. She had short curly hair and tattoos...genuinely seemed like she enjoys her job and was very attentative.

Disappointed with breakfast. Would have liked a help yourself area for some cereal or yoghurt. Didn't want a heavy brekky 2 mornings running but my mum really enjoyed it.

Everything! From the staff to the hotel it’s self it was 10/10 the entirety of our trip! Our room was beautiful! Absolutely massive, we had a luxury double room and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! We was amazed by the sheer luxury of everything, we’ve never stayed in a boutique hotel before and will definitely be coming again in the near future! Don’t even get me started on the staff 🫶🏼 what a bunch of angels. They had such a great vibe, everyone was just top tier x they had us smiling from ear to ear every second of our trip! The addition of the little club under tiger lily aswell made it great for people like me and my friend who wanted to go out on a weird day of the week 😂 Thank you thank you thank you so much everyone at Tigerlily you was one of the reasons for us wanting to come back to such a beautiful place!

Honestly cannot fault tiger lily! Only one thing I can think of is some sort of long Matt in the bathroom ? The tiles were so slippery even just walking around in socks I almost slipped a few times 😂

The hotel is beautiful - as soon as you see the outside of the building you know you are in for a special treat. The bar and restaurant areas are in keeping with the theme and feel luxurious. Our room was spacious, clean and with everything you could possibly need and again all the items are luxury brands. Beds were super comfy and we were able to enjoy TV including YouTube and Prime. All members of staff we spoke to were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The only downside we found was the air conditioning unit - it was very loud and not very effective. The room got very warm during the night.

The hotel is stunning and the staff were all so friendly. From the first member we met, to the lady who brought our drinks, right through until check out, everyone was lovely! The room was perfect for 2 friends, spacious and well equipped. The mini bar was surprisingly affordable and well stocked. It's about 10 minutes walk to the centre and 15 minutes to the train station but taxis were readily available. We couldn't have asked for a nicer welcome to Scotland or a better place to stay!

Absolutely nothing to complain about from our stay here.
