We had a 3 night stay and overall was pleased. The accessible room was nice and clean. It was probably one of the best equipped rooms for disabled people that we have stayed at.
Because it's a busy hotel and people are coming and going at all hours, having a room on the ground floor by the car park was like sleeping on the starting grid at La Mon! There was 3 Mc Claren sports car's revving their engine's at 6am. I'm not sure who they were trying to impress. Also banging car doors. Because of the heat we're experiencing we had the windows open,so it was just outside the window. On the next morning someone else was revving their car,and the room smelt of exhaust fumes! If I was to return,I would request a room on the opposite side of the corridor. Prahaps as it was Room 13. When we first got in the room, some of the electrical appliances wasn't working, but a member of staff sorted out another kettle and hairdryer, and by the next day everything was fine.

The room was comfortable. Bathroom very clean and powerful shower. Bed nice and high and very comfortable. Good to have drink making facilities in the room. Pillow choice a very good idea.
No printed room information. You have to switch on the TV for this list. This is fine, but I think a small card or printed panel on the room telephone to dial 'O' for reception would have been handy. Also the need to push the card right down into the room slot. Half way brings the lights on but not the tea making/ironing facilities. I had to go down to reception to find out about pushing the card right down into the wall slot.

Staff. atmosphere, clean room. Heartwarming and very dog-friendly. Good value for the money. Humorous and helpful staff, good carpets and bathrooms. I recommend this place. Very good car park. They seemed honest and were relaxed. Rather small and thus not as anonymous as many other franchise hotels. All the best for you!
Bad stirred eggs like in other British holiday inn express hotels: almost white and not looking or tasting like eggs. Even my dog, who loves eggs, refused to eat this. No sugar-free cereals. A good hotel with a poor breakfast. I will book it again despite the breakfast. I love English breakfast, but British and also some German holiday inn express hotels do not offer it at a reasonable quality. Change this, and your guests will happily pay seven additional pounds per night. Please believe me and start by offering real, e.g fried, eggs.

The hotel is well located in an industrial estate just off the M20 motorway. It is very close to the channel tunnel entrance and barely a 10 minute drive from Dover port. The rooms are comfortable and of decent quality. A nice touch is that they give you a firm pillow and a soft pillow on the bed, you take your preference. Otherwise, no problems - the air conditioning works well which on a hot day like the day I stayed, I was able to cool my room quite quickly. So well done - I think this is a perfect stopover hotel if you are using the port. Possibly worth staying longer.
You ask a bonus question of "How was the overall vibe of the neighbourhood you stayed in". You list 9 different options, all fairly obvious. However, none of them suit this hotel which is on an industrial estate. Don't let it detract - inside the hotel is fine.

Staff were brilliant, reception and at breakfast.
My partner was dj at an event locally which ran from 1400 until midnight. Although we had checked our car in when we got back we were dismayed to find no parking spaces that we could use, 3 of them which were available the cars eith side were over the white parking line both sides totally impossible to use as we have an Audi saloon car, then we found there were loads of single motorbikes in a car spaces, we had to park outside the hotel grounds on a grass verge which we we’re quite cross about. Perhaps a motorbike area could be set up to stop them using one whole car space for a bike?

We stayed here after coming from the eurotunnel before our travel home the next day. Staff were friendly upon arrival, check in was straight forward. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our rooms had an ironing board, iron, tea & coffee making facilities and hair dryer to name a few. Our rooms also had air conditioning which was bonus a with the late summer heat. We had buffet breakfast the next morning which was standard English breakfast. Good selection of cereal, toast, croissants and spreads. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

it’s the location. so close to the euro tunnel terminal that makes it good.
I spend a considerable amount with Booking.com and expect good compliance with requests. they said initially no as the booking was with booking. com do is this a reason to stop using you and going direct ? eventually after me being mega persuadant I got what I had originally asked for a room away from the lifts and stairs as we had a dog with us and that it over looked the car park where my £92 k motorhome was parked. the senior man who somehow found the room I requested on feb this year had a poor expression on his face.

We arrived, shattered after a week of Disneyland Paris and Paris. Eurotunnel was delayed, it was raining heavily. We were greeted by a super friendly chap who made checking in easy. The room was clean and big enough for a family of four. Slightly annoying that the coffee facilities were only geared up for 2 as were the towels. We were too tired to care, and we had our own towels with us. We slept well. The pillows were fantastic. Meant to ask where they were from. Lovely breakfast. Check out at 12 noon was super helpful. We fell out of bed, ate breakfast, showered, and left in good time for the 6 hour drive home. We are SO glad we booked in. The location is minutes from the tunnel. Tescos and various food places are nearby. We didn't visit but noticed how helpful it would be with little ones. Four of us, free parking and breakfast for £82. It's absolutely brilliant. Will forever be grateful for and wonder about where to buy those pillows! Thanks to all.
Just the lack of coffee and towels for four as booked, rather than two.

The hotel was lovely and peaceful, and the staff were fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was eggs, bacon, sausage and beans , selection of cake, crossisant and bread for toast, choice of juices, and also a machine for tea and coffee. There was also fruit, yoghurt, and cereal. So overall, a good breakfast. Tea and coffee were free all day to drink if you wanted to sit downstairs in the bar. You can have meals there too if you don't fancy driving out, there is a tescos and a McDonald's at the end of the road. Various places to visit the eutotunnel on the doorstep if you want to go to calasis, dover if you fancy a walk round to see the big ferries also white cliffs of Dover. We visited a safari park and had a safari ride on a truck round the park to see the animals in their own habitat, which was really nice. Overall very good stay 🙂
Nothing only the weather which was extremely cold but that's probably cause we visited in February so wrap up if you go in this month.
