Breakfast was very good and a great selection. The room was ideal for two humans and two dogs - huge bathroom/shower room. Plenty of space in the room. Huge lounge downstairs with a desk and books and view onto the garden. Garden was small but enclosed and great for the dogs. Everything possible was provided: dog bin by the garden, ample parking, extra towel on request, a fan, and enough storage space for a few days although we only stayed one night at a time, on two occasions. The bar was a huge plus! - it is an honesty bar but very well stocked and decked out like a miniature pub. We didn't see Trevor at all but I suspect he was busy cooking the delicious breakfasts and clearing up after. Sharon was very welcoming and helpful, and it really felt like a home-from-home.

Nothing really. Perhaps the availability of yogurt at breakfast. There were juices and cereals but to have yogurt I think you had to choose the continental option. Perhaps some yogurt and fruit on the breakfast bar with the cereals?

Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice and various price options. Spotlessly clean and also very dog friendly - they love to meet the visiting dogs and I was very impressed that we could also take dogs into breakfast with us instead of having to leave them in the room or the car like at most places. There's a small enclosed garden where dogs can have a run and play with their ball, and a couple of bench tables where we can sit out with a drink or a sandwich. There is even a bar! Fairly well stocked with a good range of drinks. I asked a favour to freeze my freezer blocks and Sharon was only too willing to oblige and even offered to also put my chilled items in the fridge as well overnight. There is a large lounge that has a desk, which was really useful for me to use my laptop without disturbing my partner in the bedroom in the evening. There are also books, and sofas and chairs to relax.

Can't really think of anything. If pushed, I would say that I didn't like the fact that we only had one night at a time to enjoy the great facilities! (We were in transit to France and stayed here a night each way, but would be happy to stay longer if the opportunity arose.)

This B&B is beautiful, a real gem within walking distance of the town with parking available (first come first served). The room was lovely, lots of natural light, great tea/coffee facilities, tv and comfy beds. The breakfast choices are fantastic, especially as my sister and I are veggie - there was a delicious veggie full breakfast option (usually we can only have cereal or toast so this made our stay even more special). There are also mini fridges available so you can store your drinks/any foods for picnic lunches, really a nice touch.

Nothing at all, our stay was perfect. We loved staying here.

We had a wonderful stay over a long week-end in Folkstone also thanks this wonderful family guest house. We felt really at home with the kids and enjoyed the garden with the birds. The location in Folkestone could not be better, basically a 5mins walk from the beach and town center and really close to the motorway. The hospitality was better than expected which is true for the breakfast too. We'll be back. We also got a good advice for touring canterbury, where we spent another day and used the rowing ships to see some secret corners of the town.

Better to reach by car than by foot, but still close enough to the Folkestone railway station.

We booked The Wycliffe as an overnight stop before our road trip to Germany. We didn't arrive until 9p.m but Sharon was very welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised at the bar area on offer and had a lovely night's sleep before heading off very early the next day. The private parking was also a plus for us. We'd definitely recommend here, especially for anyone looking for an overnight stop before/after getting the Eurotunnel.

The only thing I can think of was that the bathroom/shower were quite small, but this didn't affect us greatly considering how brief our stay was.

This was a lovely place to stay, and the service was excellent. (Full English) Breakfast was great and much appreciated for my onward journey. When I informed them that I would be arriving by motorcycle, I was offered a place to park in the garden, so it would be less visible from the streets, giving me a more secure feeling. This was one of the few places in Europe I visited where payment was done on check-out rather than check-in, and I like it. The room was a good size and there was plenty of space for my panniers.

Minor thing, but the shower was a bit lacklustre.

Comfort and design of the room was far better than I expected. It was extremely clean, and it had a huge bay window which was lovely. It was timeless design, and I couldn't fault it. We were also welcomed into the property which was great, and everything was explained well.

There's not much I can say that is negative to be honest! The only thing I could possibly say that wasn't perfect is the bathroom was a bit sterile looking but it was perfectly clean. The window was tough to open but again wasn't an issue.

My room had a bay window, lots of light and plenty of space. The rooms in the hotel were open and inviting too. The owner is very organised and good at explaining the where and how of the hotel and what was nearby. It was a short walk into town and the main shops and supermarkets yet far enough away from it to be quiet and residential Nice food for breakfast - lots f information about ingredients and so on.

Although the car park is off the road it is still open to the public (It is a bit of a hobby horse of mine with Booking.com about "private parking", it describes nothing)

We had a very friendly welcome and the facilities were great. As we had a very short night's stay (an early ferry to catch in the morning), I did not get to enjoy the lounge or the breakfast. However, I could imagine this place to be absolutely amazing when travelling with friends.

Several people around my room also had dogs. Unfortunately they weren't as well behaved as mine and barked through most of the night. While I understand why they might want a "pet wing", spacing out the rooms that have pets in them could avoid one dog setting another off or dogs meeting in the corridors. The walls are thin and I was woken several times throughout the night due to barking dogs.

This was the third time we’ve stayed at The Wycliffe. It has become part of our holiday tradition! We have a small dog and she is always welcome in both the bedroom and breakfast room. The owners are friendly and helpful and serve up a delicious breakfast. The room we stay in is at the front of the property and is comfy and quiet The B&B is a short walk from the sea front and restaurants. It is an easy, short, trip to the Eurotunnel.

Nothing, everything was great.
