Honestly what an amazing place to stay. Everything was perfect! The room was beautiful, comfortable and had everything you needed. I couldn't have asked for more. Easy walk into Fort William town centre and amazing views of Ben Nevis. More importantly, a massive shout out to the host Iain who was incredible. Even giving me a lift to the start of the Ben Nevis trail at 6.30am! I was traveling alone for the first time and Iain I can't thank you enough for the hospitality shown. You made my visit comfortable and I'm forever grateful. Amazing place, amazing location, amazing host. Highly recommend!

Nice large en-suite room which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy and we had views of Ben Nevis from the window. Our host was very friendly and helpful and printed out a bus timetable for us to use to get into the main town - bus stop very convenient just a few yards.from the Guest House.

Breakfast bag provided which meant you weren't confined to a set time to eat which meant we could be out nice and early but wasn't what we'd have chosen.

Messages before our stay were promptly answered. Check in was easy and the host, Iain, was unobtrusively hospitable - stayed out of the way but always available and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the shower. It is ideally situated if you want to climb Ben Nevis - after we had spent a wet day on the mountain we left our shoes in the outer entrance hall - Iain thoughtfully put them in a warming cupboard so that they were dry for next day. Really appreciated. Also ideal for our 5.00am start was the packed breakfast. Price was very reasonable and would definitely stay again.

Nothing to complain about. Would comment that the establishment does not serve supper - although there are a lot of restaurants in the town they do not take table bookings and they are rammed so you need to queue. (May have been seasonal - our stay was early July?)

Simple, flexible breakfast arrangement. in that pack provided allowed you to eat in or outwith if an early start required. Our room had a private bathroom across hallway and an expansive balcony which offers great views of Ben Nevis.

The only downside for my wife was, that, similar to many other B & Bs is that there never seems to be a mirror and plug point with a seat to allow her to set her hair when using tongs/dryers.

Beautiful room with huge balcony and fantastic views of Ben Nevis. Fridge and kettle in room and handy breakfast bag to set us up in the morning. A lovey walk into Fort William. We used this as a base and stayed for 2 nights. Easy access to the town and Jacobite steam train.

There was nothing to dislike. We were very comfortable. My only negative comment would be I would have liked loungers on the balcony.

We booked the room with separate bathroom. The room was much bigger than we expected and is furnished with nice wooden furniture. The photo on the website shows only the area around the bed giving the false impression of a very small room. Beyond the foot of the bed there's an area to watch TV with two chairs and a small table with a kettle etc. There's a cupboard/wardrobe too. The bathroom is next to the bedroom and is quite spacious with a good shower. The views from the bedroom windows are great. Welcoming helpful, friendly host.

Lovely comfy accommodation, with a very warm welcome from the owner Iain. We had the double room with the balcony. Beautiful views. Highly recommended. There were lots of little touches that were really appreciated. The only slight downside was that our private bathroom was across the hallway. Just had to pop our head out to make sure no one was coming. But once again, beautifully clean, well fitted bathroom. Will definitely be back.

Having to leave this beautiful place.

Lovely room and very comfortable bed .. room was very clean and can’t complain about any part of our stay. When we returned each evening the house was cozy coming in from the cold air and tea and coffee facility was just what we needed.

No issues to mention and the walk to town was around 15/20 minutes that might be too much for some.

Iain was such a gracious host! He was kind and friendly and supported us with getting around as we were very new to the area. He’s also very knowledgeable about the surroundings so this was super helpful for newcomers. He provided snacks and the rooms were just right :) highly recommend for any kind of trip! Thank you!

good-sized room & bathroom clean & comfortable & well-maintained partial (oblique) view of Ben Nevis from bedroom window quiet location (quiet) refrigerator in the room free private off-street parking

The location was a bit further out of Fort William than I realised, and the city centre, train station & most food outlets are about 10 min drive away although there are some local food outlets (eg fish & chips, Chinese food) that are closer. breakfast bags only (the only place we encountered this in our trip) the bathroom light is activated by a pull-cord, weighted down with a metal block. It was just at the right height to hit my wife in the head every time she entered the bathroom (although I'm sure with more training she will learn!)
