Great location just minutes away from the station and within easy access to the loch. We were told it could get noisy at points but luckily it was nice and quiet. It was a very impromptu stay due to holiday plans taking an unexpected turn, so to rest up and get some sleep, it was great! Clean, fairly comfortable, good location and the staff were really chatty and friendly.

There was nothing I didn’t like as such, but the room wasn’t as pictured - not sure if there are some rooms that are as pictured just not the one I got or what but I was expecting slightly different decor. This didn’t effect the stay as all the positives are listed above but I was surprised. Soap would be good in the shared toilets.

To start off the staff were all an absolute delight. Quite busy from running the hotel, restaurant and pub but they still always had time for a chat. The hotel was extremely conveniently placed and the rooms were spacious, airy and comfortable. Good wee selection for the breakfast, nothing mind blowing but enough to get something in your system before you were up and away. Plenty of warning for things like the nightclub which earplugs are provided for.

I can't think of much we didn't like, the hotel was a bargain, the beds were comfortable and things like sharing a bathroom were all told to us beforehand. I guess the lack of outlets to charge our devices in the room was a bit annoying, only having 2 next to the door, but even that wasn't really that big of an issue

Booked it and was a bit worried as some of the reviews are pretty bad. But mostly relate to weekend noise, and I was staying on a Thursday. Can't fault it at all. Bar downstairs for a good few pints, then stumble upstairs for a decent sleep. Nearly missed my train I slept so well. Would definitely stay again if the circumstances warranted it. Staff very helpful, left my keys in the room as I was rushing for the train. Even offered to post them back to me.

Overall we had a lovely stay at Lomond Park hotel, Room was clean and had good amenities and shared bathroom was cleaned often. Perfect location, is only a short walk away from the Loch and Balloch train station. There are a few lovely restaurants near by and eating downstairs was great too. Breakfast included was a big plus, wasn't a full big breakfast but was a continental buffet which was perfect for us.

Our bed was quite uncomfortable with some springs poking out. We stayed from a Monday to Thursday and the music was still able to be heard until 11pm each night, however wasn't too loud on these days and they do provide free earbuds. I assume music would be much louder on weekends so maybe avoid staying those nights. However, overall we had a great time especially for the price so would recommend!

Very, lovely friendly staff. It's great to have kettle, tea/coffee and sink in the bedroom. Separate shared bathroom looks to have been recently upgraded, which was nice. The room itself was nice and big so plently of space to spread out. Was warm too so didn't need to worry about extra bedding or anything like that. It sounded like everyone really enjoyed the Karaoke in the bar downstairs on Sunday night. Balloch is a lovely little town, was great the hotel was close to the train station and easy to find.

The floor was very creaky in the room when walking around, was worried this might have disturbed other guests.

Me and my partner were a little comprehensive about this hotel giving some of the feedback, but I have to say we absolutely loved it, we have stayed in many hotels and this one was excellent value for money, we had a comfy bed, Netflix, lots of channels on TV, the room was spotless, we stayed for two nights and the staff came and asked if we needed anything, we don't get that anywhere else so very pleased and the location was amazing, will definitely be back soon. Massive credit to the staff

Shower was hard to work but that was probably just me 🤣

When I checked in, I was upgraded into a better room - always a good start! Danielle was super friendly and helpful making sure I was aware of the noise and the food options. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. I really appreciated the staff letting my use the TV downstairs as well to watch the World Cup - thank you!

You can tell there’s a bit of a shift happening (I.e recently renovated rooms, a lot of staff training indicating new hires etc) but I actually really appreciated the effort and support that was shown to everyone to be the best. The food in the bar was fine for one night, but wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. The mattress needs a mattress topper just for comfort reasons, but beyond this, I was very happy with my stay. The noise is obviously a factor, but the establishment is very transparent with this when booking and then again when checking in.

We all really enjoyed our mid week stay at the hotel, it was the staff, the food, the friendliness that made theb day. The hotel was a bit Fawlty Towers esque, with the rooms being a little below par. But the staff more than made up for this and that's why I have given it such a good rating - it's a great location too and we will always remember our stay at this hotel. We used the function room which was also be memorable - it was a disco room that they use at weekends, dark and dingy but we didn't mind as it added to the atmosphere. I write this because we didn't expect the Ritz and I would definitely stay at this hotel again mid week but not on a weekend because I can imagine it is very noisy because of the disco.

Really easy to find location, within walking distance of restaurants, train station and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Helped us with an early check in as we arrived too early and we’re very understanding and even grabbed us an iron and ironing board as we had travelled over for a friend’s wedding. The rooms were super clean and despite the negative reviews we had a really great stay and a great sleep with no interruptions from the bar or nightclub downstairs which reception had mentioned when we checked in that it may be a possibility so we were warned. My husband and I were extremely pleased with our stay and will 100% be back.

I do feel like an offer of more variety for breakfast would be good as they only offer basic cereals, toast or fruit. But understandably they do run a bar, nightclub and B&B and there is a café and 2 restaurants directly opposite on the other side of the road.

The location, the room was nicer than I was expecting for the price, plenty of hot water, the WiFi didn’t work very well but I didn’t really need it. Easy to walk to the loch, train station and shop, easy to find and drive to. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. It is above a pub and a night club but I stayed during the week and this wasn’t an issue for me when I stayed.
