I liked the comfortable beds, the shower, the Crabtree and Evelyn hand-wash. Pool was relaxing. Hotel staff were good. Breakfast good but I've had better quality in Manchester. Good bar area, has TV and lovely food. Could leave luggage on last day.
Too many plastic plants. Must have bought a job lot. Need to replace with real ones; healthier for everyone and the planet. Hotel position not great if you are walking and don't have a car. Not easy to access by walking, and pavements are uneven. Although you get your steps in! It's pricey, but no free bottled of water in room fridge on second and third day. Just felt petty... Again far better in Manchester Hotel. Lobby area decoration looked dated.

Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff, good service. Room was lovely, super king very comfy bed, very clean and nice big room. Breakfast was good value for money with a lot of choices.
We ate in the restaurant and had the “angus” beef burger which was clearly frozen out of a box…. A bit disappointing for the price and the way it was advertised. We were going to go for a swim to find you had to pay 10.00 GBP extra per person and book a time slot which was for 90 minutes. Found this to be a bit cheap given the room rate was not cheap. Parking is also extra at 15.00 GBP per day.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed in a Queen Double room. Beds were very comfortable. Great shower with quality products to use. Proper bath towels, Air conditioning. Iron and Ironing board. Hairdryer. We ordered room service after a long day, food was great. Lifts to all floors. Great service at breakfast with a good range of options.
Let’s be honest they charge a lot for a one night stay and yes the Hilton is more luxurious than some other hotels etc, but it is overpriced for what you get. You have to pay extra for parking £15 a night, which given the price of the room should come as part of your package. You also have to pay for WiFi unless you join their Honours club (we is free) again this should come with the room. It was a good 15/20 minute walk into town and lots of hills!

Staff were great, we were there for an event then overnight stay. Event was really well managed, good meal despite large number of attendees, friendly and efficient service both there and at breakfast. Range of choices at breakfast excellent too.
Being forced to join Hilton Honours to avoid paying £15 for access to Wi-Fi for one night. Most Hotels and other cheaper accommodation offer free Wi-Fi. Also additional charge £10 per head for use of the Pool/Sauna - which has to be pre booked for a one hour session. We opted not to do on principle, having already paid a fairly steep room rate then an additional £15 for parking on site.

Hotel looks amazing and is comfortable. We ate in the bar which was nice. I had fresh made omelette and fruit at breakfast was lovely. Coffee in room was great and bathroom was spotless. We where allowed to leave our car in carpark for a few hours after check out at no additional cost (although I don't think gusts should have to pay in the first place)
Having to pay £20 per family per session for the pool is daylight robbery after paying £15 for carpark and £300 for the room! Disgraceful. I understand its a private company runs the spa but it was obviously sold or rented from Hilton they didnt just suddenly appear there! And yes I was aware of having to pay before I booked but I assumed they payment would cover your intire stay, not having to pay each time. My mums tea was cold at breakfast and potatoe bread would of needed a hammer to break it.

Booking went badly - card couldn't be charged due to not using additional card security systems used by all UK banks. Tried calling to discuss but booking line was manned by some one with such poor English that i couldn't understand them. A deeply frustrating experience.

We last stayed here in November 2021, and so we’re happy to book a night here again to break up the drive up to isle of Skye. Since November 2021 they have updated the rooms, and it looks great. The other thing they updated was that you must now book a time and pay to use their pool. We stopped here because we enjoyed the experience previously, it had parking (you pay, but we were okay with that, as that’s the norm in the UK) but the added fee (we were charged 20£ for 90 minutes) to use the pool and needed booking was a change. It’s a Hilton so comfortable rooms. The pool was a big pull for us (we have children, and this is one way to placate them for all the sightseeing and driving we subject them to) but the cost to use the pool was a bummer.
Cost to use pool.

The staff are amazing so friendly and helpful with a great sense of humour. Reception and the breakfast area are beautiful. Really well designed and decorated, a beautiful huge candler/light fitting in reception. Everywhere is very clean and the staff work hard to keep it like that. Great conference facilities. Amazing food. Very comfy bed. The room is well laid out.
There was a tap tap rattle noise coming from the shower/heating that woke me up very early in both rooms. I had early starts so it was annoying but didn't bother me so much.

Surroundings, decor in hotel lobby and rooms. Breakfast was great! Staff-most if them anyway - lovely!
Finding driveway into hotel is a nightmare! We paid a lot of money for an executive room. Late arrival due to unforeseen circumstances meant lounge was closed- asked re food told to download room service on tv- wouldn’t work. Had to phone instead only 3 options - didn’t fancy any. Went to bar - only 2 flavours of crisps left!! In the room was the most disappointing thing though- absolutely nothing!!!!! Tea, coffee, 4nespresso capsules- only 4 small milk cartons but not a biscuit anywhere, no hot chocolate, not a piece of fruit and nothing in fridge!!!! Would’ve happily paid fir something out of the fridge!Couldn’t believe in an executive room there is absolutely nothing!!! Would defo not book again if going to be late in arrival!!!

The staff and service was excellent. A special thank you to Aidan from the front office for advice on where to go for dinner, making the reservations and also helping with golf bookings. Thank you also to the front office lady manager ( I am sorry I did not get her name ) for booking golf at a course close to the hotel and for connecting us with a transporter who could transport our golf bags from Glasgow to Edinburgh. The breakfast was exceptionally good with the staff as polite as ever. Overall a wonderful experience and stay.
