All round it was very good staff very pleasant and helpful the breakfast was very good with a good choice of drinks and food it’s in a ideal location for getting into centre of Harrogate Cheltenham parade has a good choice of restaurants if you want to eat out

Maybe beds were a bit hard but that could be just our preference also a little more information about there being no lifts I was told that we had a room on ground floor actually we had to go up a flight of stairs my wife has a bad hip but managed ok maybe some might struggle

The staff were very accommodating. The hotel is in a great location. The breakfast was delicious.

The bar area and restaurant area were very nice and comfortable. The hotel area could do with some refurbishing. The paint on the staircase is flaking as was it in the apartment. I had a few issues in the apartment. The bath had no chain on the plug which required me to get the cork screw to take it out. There was no toilet roll holder in the bathroom and the toilet roll was just perched on top of the radiator. The apartment has cooking facilities which I wanted to use but there was no crockery provided at all so I had to go down to reception to request a plate. There is a cooker but no pots or pans provided to cook with. I also had to leave my dirty plate and glass on the side as although a sink is provided there are no washing up cloths, tea towels or washing up liquid.

We love this property always stay here when visiting Harrogate friendly staff Gorgous food great bar free parking in premises Just came back today from a lovely two day stay we stayed across in annexe which was great we have stayed downstairs in garden room was amazing a few months ago . Breakfast you have a great choice of food to pick from juices and hot drinks also Right in centre is added bonus 5* The only thing I would add if there could be background music in breakfast room as it is so quiet if you get a noisy eater next to you it’s not the best but had a great stay as always great price with breakfast thankyou

There is nothing I can fault about the property it’s perfect Just a bit of background music in breakfast area at top that’s all I would say

The room was spacious and had an old (non rectangular) showeer room that worked well. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and fitted me into the car park at the rear of the hotel, which was easily accessed. But it does become full, and given the dreadful wind and rain, the option of parking in a "nearby" multi-story was distinctly unattractive. Because of the weather we chose to eat in and had a very good meal, with an excellent choice of beers and other drinks. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and they let us stay in the car park until 13:00 whereas we were supposed to leave it at 11:00. We enjoyed watching a 3-hour film when we went to bed.

Lack of hand cream and precise controlls giving a steady temperature in the shower room, lack of cupboards in the room but an intriguing old writing desk that folded over instead. Did not join the queue in wind and rain at Betties. Much else we tried was closed and we didn't find a helpful optician.

Close to centre/shops/restaurants Lovely pub and great atmosphere Big room with plenty of storage space for our bags/clothes Facilities in the room were very good with tea, coffee, biscuits and water. Nice warm room (we actually turned the heating down to our own preference) Nice breakfast - good selection and accommodates all. Get both a cold and hot drink if you wish which is nice.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare. Very limited spaces available for private parking. We parked in the multi story close by in the end. Breakfast was a tad slow in service but it was busy. Took approx 20 minutes for drinks to arrive. Very small bathroom - it was ok just very tight. Shower was powerful though and water nice and warm. Towels were very small though. Our room was at the top of the first flight of stairs and a little noisy with through-flow of traffic. Once that settled I heard no one next door or above so extremely quiet. Didn’t hear the pub below either.

After a long journey what a delight to be given the key to a Clean Modern and Comfortable and spacious room with small staircase to huge art deco bathroom for the the night.. aahhh! Tea, coffee, chocolate in quirky cups, hidden wardrobe. I say!.. what gorgeous facilities in this charming Inn. G & T, you say well let’s go down stairs to the restaurant and bar.

What a gorgeous view of the Main Street from the large window. However net curtains for some privacy during the day wouldn’t go amiss then the curtains could be left open.

Excellent location in the centre of Harrogate - there is limited parking at the hotel or a big multistorey over the road. Staff were great, friendly, welcoming and professional. Room was a good size, nicely decorated and it's nice to see little extras like locally supplied bottled water and biscuits. Really good breakfast included!

Some issues with the hot water in the shower but it's an old building so I guess some plumbing issues. The small sink with glass shelf above it makes washing very difficult! Gap under the room door so not the best soundproofing, and the pillows are like bricks but that's down to personal preference. These are small things though, it's a lovely place to stay and would recommend and stay again.

The location was good. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was lovely with different choices. It also had free parking if you were lucky enough to get a space. Our bedroom was huge with both a double and single bed. The beds were very comfortable too.

We were looking on to a big pipe outside our window. However it didn't spoil our stay as we weren't in the room much. The room was a bit hot for us. The bathroom floor could have been cleaned better. Lumps of hair around the bin and radiator. The rest of the room was lovely and clean.

Fantastic location. We had an annexe room behind the hotel but great. Quiet. Room like a quirky studio. Opaque glass swing doors to bathroom and big windows to look out onto the Street outside if you wished. Hotel on a road that could be called the High St. Just round from the main station. Amazing Indian restaurant opposite. A few minutes from Betty's Tea Rooms and the Ivy. Lovely crispy breakfast with plenty of choice, served to your table in a lovely dining room, like a paneled drawing room in the inn. Staff friendly and helpful.

All good! Didn't have a soft pillow if anything to complain about!

This hotel is in a great location. You have everything you need around the hotel itself. There are restaurants, shops, car parks ,bars etc. The Inn itself has a little private parking out the rear of the property which is great for a town centre. The seated area outside of the property is quite comfortable. There were plenty of outside heaters around to use and a few throws to help yourselves to also. Staff were polite and hard working.

The public toilets are up a flight of stairs instead of on the ground floor which was a bit of a pain. Some of the communal areas are starting to show a bit of wear and tear. Paint wearing off bannisters and doors. Placement of reception is a little odd. Squashed into a little back corridor. Not very welcoming.
