The Inn was an ideal location for our first time in Harrogate. It's within 5 mins walk of main shopping area, local church, Harrogate Baths. A good starting point if you have a planned event, you want to explore nearby or just want a rest, on your way to Scotland The Inn's restaurant itself offered an amazing variety of great tasting evening & breakfast meals in a relaxed setting adapted to your taste. Great atmosphere in the bar, lovely decor The staff were friendly and approachable they would enquire if there is anything you needed. The room itself is well laid out and comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff made your stay feel welcoming as soon as you walked in. Warm scents, dimmer switch for main light, low lights in the bathroom to guide you, in the night. Blackout curtains, windows open, you can hear the hustle and bustle of the street below, windows closed you hear nothing If we have another trip to Harrogate, we would definitely book again.
It's not that I did not like. Just be aware there may be 2 flights of stairs to your room, so if booking just call and see what rooms are available on lower floors or other options

Had the penthouse appointment, and it was really nice. It was a big room with everything you needed. It had a really good shower. It also had a really nice free-standing bath that was in your room. The location was really good. Close to all pubs and shops. We had never been to Harrogate and didn't know what was around. So when we checked in, we asked the lady that checked us in what was around. She was really helpful and pointed us in the right direction. We found that all the staff were really nice. We had breakfast there in the morning and it was really nice and again the staff were lovely. I would recommend this to anyone. Me and my wife will definitely be coming back.

The location was perfect for getting to everything. We were lucky enough to have some warm weather so the terrace was a great spot for a cold drink pre dinner. There is a vast array of eateries and bars within a five minute walk. The inn itself has staff that are happy, helpful, enthusiastic and hard working. Our room was beautiful with a huge well dressed bed opposite the iron fireplace. Up the stairs was our bathroom with a clean and modernly decorated suite. Rolltop bath and a huge shower. We stayed for two nights so enjoyed two breakfasts. The first morning we both ordered the full Yorkshire breakfast. This was honestly one of the best breakfasts we have had anywhere. The black pudding and field mushroom were amazing as was the bacon and sausages. Served with our loose leafed Yorkshire tea and juice was fab. The second morning I chose the smashed Avocado option and my husband the croque Monsieur. These also did not disappoint brilliantly flavoured and large-. Yum!
The only issue for some may be the main road the inn is situated on. The old building has windows that are not great at keeping the noise out. However we had no issues sleeping and we live in a very quiet area so I was surprised how well I slept! Also the carpark is not large so get there early to grab a space if you need one.

Brilliant location, good atmosphere, staff were amazing. There was a group of 14 of us and they arranged breakfast for us all to sit together with short notice. Did everything they could to make our stay very welcoming. All guests also got a parking space even though it is limited availability which was a bonus.
No cutlery or plates in any of the apartments even though there was an oven and a toaster. No drinking glasses as stated on the booking. I'm sure this would have been sorted if I had asked as the staff in the hotel were really helpful. This didn't matter to us as we ate out when we stayed but it did seem a little odd.

All round it was very good staff very pleasant and helpful the breakfast was very good with a good choice of drinks and food it’s in a ideal location for getting into centre of Harrogate Cheltenham parade has a good choice of restaurants if you want to eat out
Maybe beds were a bit hard but that could be just our preference also a little more information about there being no lifts I was told that we had a room on ground floor actually we had to go up a flight of stairs my wife has a bad hip but managed ok maybe some might struggle

The property was central to the town, and offered everything that as visitors we required. It was quirky without being dreary or dowdy and offered accommodation to suit all tastes at a good price. There are any number of dining establishments nearby offering cuisine to suit most tastes. The property’s menu offered a range of meals to cover all tastes and the quality of the meals we had was first class. Special mention needs to be made in respect of the staff, including Geoff, Seam, Becca, India, Isobel, Anthony and those we didn’t learn the names of. Their attention to detain, friendliness and service in our opinion was exemplary.
There was nothing we found to dislike about the property. The fact that there was limited parking available on a first come first served basis was a little inconvenient but there was secure long stay parking, at a price, within easy walking distance.

Very central Really good bar especially if you are a Timothy Taylor fan ( my husband loved it) We didn’t eat there but lots of people were Large clean room Large TV Very friendly staff Parking on site Breakfast delicious and plentiful
Dining room busy so quite a long wait for breakfast order to be taken ( no counter where you could serve yourself cereal etc so had to wait around 10-15min to give order ) Room we were in poor flow from shower boiling but when you tried to add cold water it cut out and turned off Mentioned this on leaving manager wrote down problem so I’m sure will be fixed

What a little gem this place is! We booked as a fairly last minute stay for a wedding, and were allocated the 'coach house' room which was a self-contained studio. It was gorgeous, felt brand new and was far more than we expected for what we paid. The staff were so helpful too, the gentleman on reception even moved his car so that we could have a parking space. To top it all off the breakfast was lovely and really generous in portion size. I really hope we'll have the opportunity to stay here again!
We were really happy with this hotel, I'm not adding a negative point just for the sake of it :)

Excellent helpful staff particularly Ami and Sean ..and barman who showed me how to set up app .Food excellent far better than I anticipated App really good made paying easy and saved me some money
Our room (6) road traffic noise ..shower not the best The man who served breakfast on 13 December not nearly as good as other friendly helpful staff Quite rude and challenging and when we left felt I was being accused of not paying the bill ( actually said I hadn’t)which we had to the manager Sean ..15 mins prior .. He made a point of going on the computer to check ..and said we hadn’t ….making us wait while he checked with Sean Shoul have done that first !!spoilt our departure Their mistake !!

The location was great. Close to bars and restaurants. The room (2) was gorgeous with a comfy bed and a huge bathroom with a roll top bath and separate shower. Staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Would stay here again.
The room was at the front of the hotel so was a bit noisy with traffic. It didn't spoil our stay but if you want an early night maybe ask for a room at the back. The bathroom door didn't close, which didn't bother us as we've been married for years, but not great for privacy. Also strong bleach smell from the bathroom and very creaky floors.
