Room was a good size and very tidy room was at the front of hotel with a restricted view of the fountain which was very pleasant to see in the morning. Location was good, walked to the RHS gardens, walking into town was easy. View of the fields opposite the hotel made a nice change to where we've stayed in the past.

Room was very warm but an electric fan was provided in the room. The plug in the bath was stuck and the water when showering was failing to drain away so found that the other person had to wait until it disappeared. One packet of biscuits to last two mornings/evenings for two people.

We booked a Deluxe Double room which was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and bathroom a good standard. Hotel breakfast was standard choices but nicely cooked and bacon, sausages and fried eggs were not greasy, no scrambled eggs offered. On the evening we had a sandwich from the Lite menu in the lounge, this menu was quite varied but only available until 6pm, you could however choose from the restaurant menu and eat it in the lounge area. Service was good, staff very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk into Harrogate centre.

We had a slight problem with our room on arrival, we didn't report it straight away but the hotel did check it out after we reported it the next morning, owing to a mis-communication it was improved but not solved however the staff were very helpful.

Room was spacious and modern, bed very comfy. Friendly staff. Nice stay :)

Bathroom had a few cracked tiles with black silicone just smeared over them,and wasn't quite as modern as the bedroom, but it didn't bother us a bit. Sausage at breakfast was awful and crossaints were hard, but rest was pretty nice. Had to pay extra for parking, which i'd expect to be free with price of room ... Wasn't anything wrong with the hotel and did enjoy our stay, but Wouldn't probably come again unless it was on offer or some...I would choose something closer to bars and city centre and just use a pay and display car park if I'd have realised we had to pay anyway, as it cost us £10 to go out & then £11 back in a taxi .

The room was really well thought out, the space was lovely and became our little home for the two nights we were there. The location was great as was the carparking - although we happened to pay twice for that as the instructions were unclear... but otherwise really great venue - the bar was also a really nice atmosphere with nice staff. I can't wait to return another time when the Tipi is in action.

I didn't like that when we checked in the self service system didn't work and we were unsure where the staff were and if they were going to come to help us check in, but once they did arrive we were okay. The only other thing is that we paid car parking twice as the instructions around that was unclear.

Eventually I was given a free upgrade to a lovely room. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was excellent.

To start with for the first of the 3 nights I was booked I was given a small pokey room in a drafty corner overlooking bins. I could not open my curtains because of privacy concerns from a room adjacent but round on the other side of the corner. The hotel was half empty, I was staying for three nights and felt I'd been given the _booking.com_ room! A very nice receptionist offered me a free upgrade to a lovely room the next day. I felt the decor in the lounge area was quite peculiar and very tired There was plentiful comfortable seating apparently crammed together to fit in maximum numbers. A very weird colour scheme.

The hotel staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful but above all cheerful, they looked as if they enjoyed what their work. There were a couple of stand out individuals; the young lady that booked us in was smart, polite and well spoken - even letting us book in early. There was a lady in the restaurant helping an elderly lady with her plate as she was struggling and the guy that met and briefed you as we entered the restaurant for breakfast was fabulous, energetic and welcoming. Great team…. The hotel is located across from a large park, which is fantastic for an early walk or jog and the short stroll into town takes you past a number of marvellous restaurants and ‘water’ stops. The train station is a 10 minute walk which we used to visit the wonderful city of York.

The location was fine for visiting Harrogate Town Centre and taking in a football match nearby. My £6 parking fee for the Friday night covered my stay for Saturday match parking as well, and the ground was only a 10 minute walk (across the Park) away. I did not use many of the Hotel facilities, and as I don’t eat much breakfast these days, £12 was a bit steep, so I didn’t partake. The staff were all friendly, and the room was warm and clean, couldn’t fault it.

For just under £90 per night for 1 person, it would have been nice to have either a Continental Breakfast, or Parking thrown in. An observation rather than a criticism !!

Very much liked the spacious lounge

The Bathroom. If having a bath the soap is high up with the shower. One has to keep standing up for it now it is fixed to the wall. Another soap at bath level would be common sense. Also very little tea and coffee in room. Had to keep asking for the price paid it was very mean. A few mint teas and not one pack of biscuits between two people. I think the average price we paid was £140 a night. Also the toilets flush badly .

The building and grounds were beautiful. Room were species separate room for kids in family room. Staff were friendly. We had beautiful dinner and drink outside in tent with open fire. We were very plesently surprised with the hotel. Great value for money. Very close to city centre. Definitely we would come back here. Quick check in and out.

The corridors on second floor need some update refurbishment also family rooms. Paying for parking on the hotel grounds is poor practice.

Accessible room well equipped. Staff pleasant & helpful. Breakfast - good selection of food though only white bread available when we came down to breakfast at about 9.15

Would have preferred a double bed in accassible room. Nit all disablex people want single beds. We were in a room on tge corridor near the main entrance. It was very noisy due to people coming and going through the swing doors. A bit annoying when ky husband was trying to have an afternoon rest.
