From the point of arrival, greeted with a warm welcome, the hosts Vanja and Aaron went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Situated a few minutes walk from Harrogate town, the period property is fabulous and offers spacious, very comfortable accommodation. The hosts have paid a lot of attention to detail, from the decor, the cleanliness and to their guests individual requirements whilst away. The Yorkshire breakfast is a must and was cooked to perfection every morning. A highly recommended place to stay and we look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

19 Franklin Mount is faultless.

The room that I booked (I stayed in the Superior King Room) was exactly as described. It was very spacious and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. There was fresh milk and tea bags / instant coffee provided. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was, as expected, a smallish en suite but with a nice roomy shower. I did not try the breakfast. Only about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Harrogate, so very central & it felt very safe. Only met the owner very briefly on one occasion but she seemed very pleasant and healpful.

There was some noise from the adjoining terraced house. Not excessive, but it could be heard (just the nature of that type of building). I was woken up in the middle of the night by someone walking over the creaky floorboards outside the bedroom door (again, just the nature of this type of building).

We didn’t book breakfast as we wanted to eat out, but the smells coming up to my room in the morning smelt amazing. The little touches of the property really make this stay feel special . From the home from home feel , with high end finishes . The amenities kitchen for you to help yourself too , slice of lemon drizzle cake (homemade ) left for us . To the lovely full sized toiletries to use in the bathroom. It’s a perfect location , and a mere 5-10mins walk to the town . Would definitely stay again and throughly recommend!

We had a fabulous stay here - the hosts were extremely welcoming and provided us with lots of information on arrival about bars, restaurants and pubs within the local area, taxi's, directions etc on an app which I've never seen before b but is an amazing idea. We had sausage and bacon sandwiches to take to our room both mornings and they were absolutely beautiful - along with tea coffee etc. There were crisps, biscuits and tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in our room. We received a message from the hosts stating there was cake for us in the guest kitchen should we want it and things like this are lovely personalised little touches. They had a basket of 'bits' in the guest kitchen consisting of razors etc along with an iron and ironing board should we need to use them - again making our stay personalised which was lovely and thoughtful. There was also the choice in the guest kitchen to buy prosecco and bottled beer which was paid for at the end of our stay which we utilised, along with extra bottles of milk should we need them, which were free of charge. The rooms were lovely and clean, homely and warm. It was our first time in Harrogate and it was such a lovely stay due to the friendly hosts. We will definitely be back. Thankyou so much.

Vanya was the perfect hostess. Room, en-suite and breakfast area were clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a midweek break Cooked breakfast was perfect! Excellent location for a 10 minute stroll into town for a good variety of restaurants and to visit the sites of this historic town

Personally I’m not a fan of the use of jars for the cereal/yoghurt/fruit choice. I appreciate early preparation makes life easier, but it also makes the granola soggy. I would have liked the option of breakfast included at a slightly reduced rate eg £10-£12/person

There was nothing not to like, it was quirky, clean, had comfortable beds, a short walk from the centre, no issue parking. I loved the fact that there was a small kitchen with a few pieces of cutlery & a few glasses that you could use. We also received a piece of freshly made cake on our 2nd day, which was left in the small kitchen area (lovely little touch). We would definitely recommend this property and will return.

Aaron and Vanja were terrific hosts. Property is in a quiet residential road but only 5 minutes from restaurants and town. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Lovely cotton bedlinen and everything you could need in a room. Rituals products and fresh milk a lovely touch. Breakfast a must. No problem at all with parking. We would certainly stay here again when next in Harrogate. Thank you for s lovely stsy.

A beautiful guest house, rooms are beautifully decorated to a very high standard. I loved the little extras - a cloth to remove makeup, water left by my bedside when I returned from the wedding I had attended. There is a little honesty bar on the landing so if you need anything, or just a glass of wine, its available. Breakfast was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable they were able to direct me to a local pub where I could eat on my own without feeling out of place. I would highly recommend 19 Franklin Mount for anyone staying in Harrogate looking for something smaller and more special than a large chain type hotel.

Everything about this guesthouse is wonderful! Friendly and approachable owners, beautiful, comfortable rooms, in a quiet location which is within walking distance of the town centre and very close to the Conference Centre. We loved our stay at Franklin Mount. From the greeting on arrival to the most fantastic breakfasts, Vanja and Aaron have made Franklin Mount the best guest house in the area. It really is that good!

I did struggle a bit with the stairs, but the handrails on both sides of the stairs were a great help.

As you can see with so many 5 star reviews it does say it all! So I am just confirming what they say! It is the most beautiful bnb my wife and I have ever stayed in, We have been in many bnb stays throughout the UK but the Franklin Mount is by far the best! Could not fault it at all this is the first time I have given 10 out of 10. Exceptional, Superb, and credit to Vanya who was very welcoming. Loved the Lemon drizzle cake! will definitely stay again when in Harrogate! Recommended to all.
