the room was clean & tidy

the staff were quite rude and abrupt which really puts me off instantly as I believed first impressions are everything. receptionist appeared defensive straight away we couldn’t check in as we were far too early but didn’t actually allow me to finish my sentence I had paid for early check in

We stayed in the Trimbach Suite which was a great size for 2 of us. Stayed on a business trip and the room had everything needed for this. Lovely desk to work off, free internet wifi connection, and even a great massage chair. Fridge in room which was a great addition, as was the ceiling fan as it was so hot the weekend we stayed. Bed comfortable, and very large, and shower exceptional. Great location, really close to all the shops, restaurants and the International Conference Centre, where we needed to be for work. Staff went out of their way to help with all our requests, even on the telephone when I called the morning of arrival has I had forgot to book a carpark space. Sorted this out for us immediately, even managed to get parked up before we could check in.

Accessibility needs to be considered when booking as we had a few stairs to carry our heavy bags up. However the staff did help us with this which was very much appreciated.

The staff were truly excellent and made my stay, particularly Heron - at the front desk, but seemingly everywhere at all times! I injured my leg shortly before arrival and the staff could not have been more helpful. They changed my room to a closer one that also had a walk-in shower, were flexible with my checkout time, and brought endless supplies of ice to my room! These personal, caring touches matter so much when you are alone and away from home - the exemplary level of service I received will not be forgotten. Oh and the food from Orchid restaurant was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the pad thai and bang bang tofu!

The hotel and staff were lovely and we would stay again. There is a great park across the road which you could walk round for an hour or longer if you wish. Great location for everything in Harrogate

We had booked 2 nights' stay and 2 nights parking, but we got there, and reception said we were only booked in carpark for 1 night. Whilst we were out sightseeing, we got a phone call to go and move the car. Luckily, there was 1 space left at the front of the hotel. We had a parking permit for the second night. When we checked out, the receptionist said we didn't have to pay the permit, which was good of them.

It was quiet, clean, comfortable. The staff were friendly. We came and went easily. Via booking.com it was pretty expensive for one night I thought. I would go directly to the hotel in future. I was very tired when I went to bed and slept well...the bed was very comfortable, and the hotel very quiet. I dislike the fact that the light comes on as soon as the bathroom door is opened as when you get up in the night to use the bathroom the last thing you want is a glaring light on, but apart from that everything was excellent.

Only the bathroom light that was both too bright and noisy when I had to use the bathroom through the night. I also thought that the price of breakfast was excessive. We ate elsewhere for half the price.

We booked an executive room which was beautiful the bed was huge. Their were plenty of beautiful touches in the room, including air conditioning, which was fantastic as it was muggy and warm outside. We ate in the Orchid restaurant which was exceptional the food was amazing highly recommend the tempura prawns they were gorgeous. We booked a parking space and was really easy to park and leave. The Studley hotel is really well situated for the Harrogate Spa baths.

Very helpful,friendly staff in all areas Excellent position in Harrogate-booking a parking space in advance was 100% a good idea. Eating in the Orchid was very good-waitress was extremely helpful helping us choose,food superb.Service top notch.

Breakfast was lovely but not really worth the price.Not enough different pastries and the bread was from pre sliced loaves. Grapefruit and pineapple also not fresh. Croissants were lovely. Room was a bit tired and didn't have a full sized wardrobe-dresses couldn't hang properly but the beds were comfortable.

The hotel it in a great location in Harrogate, and despite our initial concerns on street parking was not difficult, helped by the hotel providing parking 'discs' for the on street parking. The room was lovely and clean, the bed comfy and the shower nice and hot. They have the basics very well covered, and then some. For a central location, with a ground floor room, we were not disturbed by noise, which was surprising, and got a really good night's sleep.

It would be handy if the hotel provided some room service or food option after the restaurant has closed, but I don't think they do. That said, there are loads of places nearby where you can grab something if you need to.

The room was very comfortable, good bed/pillows and in a great location with central Harrogate walking distance away. The bathroom was also good with a couple of nice features such as the deeper bath/shower and the radio mirror. Staff were helpful and polite. Parking is at a premium, I parked out front and obtained a permit from reception £5 for the night which I think might be cheaper than the hotel parking.

If I'm being super honest/critical the ceiling repairs probably needed a little more attention than it got at the time, no biggy really for our stay and didn't make it any less comfortable

Clean, tidy and comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location. Nice to have proper milk in the fridge. Decent sized bed.

Only minor things. Too much light coming through the window in the morning even though the blind was down. The fact that you got “fined” if you got make up on the towels. You are instructed to use the wipes provided but couldn’t find any and didn’t fancy getting dressed again to go and get some from reception. I ended up having to dry my face on toilet roll. Why not have black towels if this is such an issue? Wasn’t very clear where the entrance was coming from the Valley Gardens side.
