Great breakfast included with a good choice of very good-quality food, plentiful, well-presented and professionally cooked. Key to separate door from bar. Popular restaurant with a varied à la carte menu plus specials to my liking and generous portions. Bedrooms were quiet, with easily manageable staircases to second floor, and shower-room was a decent size. All clean and nicely decorated. Big storage cupboard with plenty of hanging space. Plenty of plugs, including USB, and good lighting including attractive bedside lights. Extra supplies of tea, coffee, milk and everything needed are kept on a dresser on the landing so you can help yourself; and paramount: friendly, helpful, unpretentious staff.

Nothing to highlight.

Great location overlooking Yorkshire countryside. Happy friendly chatty bar and kitchen staff. Lovely food available for meals and one of the best full English breakfast ever with 2 of everything. We had the loft room ample size for 3 adults. Massive bathroom with lovely shower with good water pressure and lovely hot water in the morning. Locals all friendly as well. Would definitely stay again if ever in the region. We had dinner with some of my pommie cousins who live in Bingley and had not been to the pub in over 40 years and they will also be going back in the future for meals. Good selection of beers etc on tap and available as well to suit all drinkers. Lovely log fires to keep you warm on cold nite.

Older guests may find it difficult with all the stairs but not a major issue. My 88 years old mother in law managed ok.

Lovely quiet location. The room was well appointed with nice little touches, which even bigger hotels no longer have, like individual toiletries, face clothes, biscuits, and plenty of tea/coffee and milk. The water pressure for the shower was so good that it was like a power shower but without the electric pump. The plug sockets on either side of the bed also had USB sockets, which were an unexpected bonus. The bed was comfy, and there were plenty of hooks for coats etc. We had our evening meal in the restaurant. The menu had a brilliant variety of foods. The portions were substantial, great value for money, but more than anything, really, really good quality, tasty, freshly made, and home cooked. Breakfast was the same. All the staff were professionally friendly, and the service overall was excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much, that despite the close proximity to our home town, we'd go again just for a meal and a night's stay. The reason we stayed this time was to attend a music gig in Hebden Bridge.

In all honesty, I can't think of anything that we didn't like.

Spacious room and bathroom!!!! The bathroom was spacious with spaces on the bathroom table for our belongings. Delicious pub food and beers. Relatively clean and friendly staff. Two flights of Stairs up to the family room but it wasn't an issue for us. Our 63 year old mum managed it. Quiet. Amazing breakfast with good choices. Nice seating outside with a good view of the valley and sunset!!! Easy free parking on site

We only stayed a night. The entrance to the bedrooms upstairs was next to the kitchen. The room was filled with a deep fry smell at night once we had closed all the windows for bedtime. The smell prevented me from having a good night sleep and kept thinking that I was in a fish and chips shop. We opened the windows again in the morning, the smell was gone when we returned from breakfast. We mentioned this to the owner who told us no one ever complained about the smell but would look into it and mentioned that it might be because the two doors between the kitchen and rooms were left open.

Everything it was fantastic, the food the room the staff was second to none Also the pub is so cosy and fab. For us it was 11 out of 10. For people going to Hebden Bridge the Robin Hood Inn is about a mile from the town centre. Its difficult to walk into but the bus services the B3 and 595 run every half hour and costs £2. The B3 also takes you to Haworth and the bust stop is only 20 yards from the Inn. We are definitely booking there next year.

We didn't stay long enough !!!!

The only problem I have, is deciding which superlative to use first. The room, the small double, was as described, warm, with an extremely comfortable bed. The food was exceptional, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner, all were superb. The value for money for the stay, and in particular the food was outstanding. Outstanding is the word that best describes the staff, the owners are extremely lucky that, particularly when hospitality is struggling for staff, that they have such a dedicated, friendly team. Many thanks for our stay.

Nothing.

This was our second visit and we were delighted to find that their standards had not dropped. Greeted in a warm friendly manner, shown to our room, dining times explained and informed of fire safety procedure. Breakfasts are excellent with three main choices, but you can opt for something smaller if desired. We also ate our evening meals there and they too are excellent value hearty portions with an ample selection to choose from. We would happily stay there again.

There is nothing not to like.

Very welcoming friendly staff, great food (we sampled both evening meal and breakfast) and great relaxing atmosphere in the pub itself.

I emailed the pub a few days before our arrival to check on the number of towels which would be provided and was assured there would be towels for the number of guests in the room available. It was slightly disappointing to see that only two towels were provided for three adults. One of us had brought a towel and I am sure if I had gone down and spoken to a member of staff this would have been rectified but it just annoyed me slightly. It also would be great if the bedside tables next to the single beds in the toom could have a little light by them as now there is really only one light for the entire room and if one or two of the people staying would like to read before sleeping this isn't really possible at the moment if others want to go to sleep.

Location, it was an straight forward journey from Hebden Bridge. Nice cosy bar with lovely views, despite the rain ! We were able to book in easily, asked for room heating to be turned off, as we don't like a heated bedroom, this was done for us. Room was a good size, nice shower too. Moved our meal table booking forward, with no problem. Lovely meals.

Roof window did drip onto the bed when we opened it, but it was torrential rain ! Lovely breakfast although veggie sausgaes were "vegetable" sausages not the sort I usually have, but they were fine.
