My husband and I have stayed at The Black Bull three times now (booked again with the children in October) the location is superb 👌 Emily room overlooking the cemetery. The room was clean, had everything we needed, bed was comfy and the shower room is modern and spotless. The staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return! 👻

Our breakfasts were tasty but we was a little confused as to whether it was included in the price of our room (since the payment update) but told as we had booked before February then breakfast was included. The breakfast times were also different than printed in the information in our room.

The breakfast was excellent as was the soup & sourdough. The very young staff really tried hard and were keen to look after us. Bed was very comfortable. Large shower, clean bedroom and bathroom. Amazing location and great bar garden. Carparking space great.

The tables needed cleaning more often and better. Sticky table tops in eating area. Sticky floors in the bar area. Stair carpet needs a clean, bottom flight and was totally loose on one tread, upper flight. Serious trip hazard. The glass shelf over the tiny sink made using the sink very difficult. Shelf protrudes over the sink at low level. The shower drain was blocked resulting in a paddling pool in the tray.

The room was lovely - very cosy and comfortable. It was very clean and the facilities were brilliant. The wifi worked perfectly and I loved sitting on the window seat in the morning with a coffee. For the price, I couldn't fault it. No ghostly goings on in the night which I was very relived about!

The only problem I had was that the room was incredibly hot but as it's the height of summer, it's expected. There was a thick winter duvet on the bed which in hindsight we should have removed so it was just the duvet cover. Not the hotels fault at all though and I've already booked to go back so it certainly didn't put me off.

The location was fantastic and right in the heart of Haworth, with everything on the doorstep. Nice outside space with views of the main street which is lovely and quirky. I loved how the building had history leading back to the 16th century and they say it is haunted but nothing went bump in the night. Very quiet location and liked how the rooms were named after the Bronte sisters due to being in the Bronte County. We stayed in the Emily room. Nice ensuite Breakfast was nice. Friendly staff. Very reasonably priced drinks etc Free parking I will revisit Haworth as loved the place and would stay at the Black Bull if available

We booked for an evening meal. Not much choice so ordered homemade steak and ale pie, something I wouldn't normally get. Steak was inedible as tough and chewy and pastry rock hard. Mushroom soup was nice though. Mattress very springy.

Lovely atmosphere and fantastic location, with friendly and helpful staff.

We thought we had booked bed and breakfast, as in mid February the Black Bull website was still showing "bed and breakfast" accommodation. However staff told us that breakfast has not been offered for any bookings since the end of January. The Booking.com website did not make it clear either, and only in the small print at the very bottom of a long confirmation email did I find "no meal options included". This is very poor communication and was obviously a disappointing discovery on our first morning!

Superb location in the old part of Haworth, with parking! Staff so friendly and the pub and rooms had been decorated and refurbished very nicely. Great views and the window seat was a lovely touch. Plenty of tea supplies. Evening meals very nice and reasonable.

Space a little tight around the bed and in the bathroom in our room (Charlotte) Beware - our car was splattered extensively by the crows. Not a problem for us as it’s old. No breakfast in accommodation but staff recommended cafe over the road which was excellent.

fantastic location on the Main Street in Haworth. our room had a fabulous view of the graveyard, which was an atmospheric bonus! room was clean, staff were friendly, welcoming, unfussy and relaxed and the price very reasonable.

nothing to dislike. the en-suite shower room was very small, but had everything you needed, and the shower was surprisingly powerful. one small issue was with the position of the small sink just below a shelf. tricky to brush teeth but we managed. definitely not a major issue.

Excellent place. Room, facitlities, cleanness, kind staff, location... And such a great privilege to stay in this house, so important in the Brontë's story. A big thank you to all members of staff, for being so efficient, kind and proffesional. Really looking forward to coming back some day.

Had a meal mid afternoon which was good did not use the breakfast option in the morning the room was quiet but could hear noises from the pub below which was low volume noises

There was a small stain on a towel and bed sheet that was the only minor gripe and as I said in previous comments you can hear low volume noise from pub below but you would expect that being what the nature of the building is

Excellent position. Very nice compact room. Although we were too early to check in, we could use the car park, which was much appreciated. Staff very helpful.

Evening meal not available on the day we stopped, so had to book elsewhere. Drinks at the bar very expensive. Our room overlooked the graveyard, the neighbours were extremely quiet!!
